Can you do a more or less thorough comparison between that game and HS regarding stuff like: amount of luck needed to win a game, prevalence of random things, prevalence of controlled randomness, swinginess of turns/plays, how much skill matters, whether the game provides enough room for player skill to flourish rather than cutting it down like in HS, how they plan to deal with cards clutter in the future, etc.
And most importantly, how far/close is it to a gacha game and others that like to pray on people's weakness and whales (see the diablo immortal videos of some people where everything they are doing is explained in detail). I.e. how much pay-to-win is/will the game be?
Thanks!
4. In terms of RNG in the gameplay, there really isn't that much.
I'm sorry what?
Your opponent plays Morph, it could play a 1 cost, or it could catch Hulk or The Infinaut. Creating either an instant win or instant loss.
Maybe Jubileewill hit something good, maybe it will be useless. Same for Gambit
Sometimes Yondu removes the player's key card, sometimes it allows them to actually draw a key card that never would have been drawn on curve.
Yondu and Korg in the same deck arent exactly the best combo. You often end up discarding the Rock, if you play Korg before Yondu. I guess you simply want to have something to play early on and start disrupting, but you can also draw Rock with Cable ... when I ran a deck like that, i removed Korg cause it often screwed me more than my opponent.
Previous page loading lag and misclick issues seem to be less annoying since the latest big update. They are not entirely gone though, so there is still room for improvement.
I think Corpse Explosion should make the list. Seems like a very powerful board clear.
On another note I think it's amazing the old death Knight cards from frozen throne are being added to the real class. That should be worthy of an article, with a bit of speculation what runes each of them might have. wink wink
could be hard as Oblitirate until now, NEVER was associated with blood in anyway. Since in wow always used a frost and unhoyl rune, until they ddi away different types as a whole in legion.
20 or so event XP can be earned every half hour just AFK-ing in merc bounties, if you're time constrained and still want the portrait, just q up a couple of bounties while doing chores on the weekend and you'll finish in no time.
There's no need to invest time in ranked games if that's not your thing if you just want the skin with minimal effort.
Haven't really tried out the card myself, and by the looks of it Im not missing anything. Currently on hsreplay this card is pulling low play win rates, and horrible mulligan win rates (which is obviously unsurprising). Basically thief rogue is the best fit for this card, both because you can cheat it out with Swiftscale Trickster, or cheat out an expensive spell should you get one.
But in all honestly, this is a card I dont need to try to know it sucks. The problem with this card is simple; it does absolutely nothing and is a gamble for success. If you get a few cheap spells or freeze effects with this card you might mitigate its horrible cost, and if you get anything unplayable (like Sigil of Reckoning) then it just bricks your hand. You can play this cheaply should your hand be big enough, but then youre getting less spells and at some point we might as well be asking why not just play Venomous Scorpid, or anything else for that matter.
The only way this card even sees remotely any play is that you can cheat it out, or if the pool is small enough that you'll likely get something good most of the time. But Im highly unoptimistic, because with the advent of DKs the spell pool is not only large its also cluttered with cards you dont have synergies with (corpses, etc.).
One good niche it does have is that it fills your hand. So this is just an effective immunity against curses, bombs, or draw effects. But this is beyond the realms of desperation, that its included into the deck simply to counter such archetypes.
I like how they are handling the season pass cards. And I saw a post of what next month’s is (I won’t spoil it). It feels like a potentially good card, but not broken enough to make people feel bad about not having it, like Miles Morales.
Hmm, are you absoutely certain you entered to participate in the contest back when it was underway? If yes and the reward still hasn't arrived by Tuesday (when they open up with a new season), it should be worth reporting. Their in-game support is also mobile-only annoyingly, but their Discord works as well.
I literally started a run to avoid this problem and, as it turned out, it was the first non-autoloss arena draft that I had drafted in a year-plus. Not a super-broken list -- I don't know if the previous card mix even made that possible -- but a solid deck for potentially fun games. And now it's toast.
I have to start a floating duels game to make sure I don't get blindsided there.
I do love that after having made some meager, competent decisions in Arena -- pre-banning certain cards that are too strong -- they throw all that out the window by making the most awful decisions possible ("read the patch notes or auto-lose with DH, noobs!") alongside quality control that would make a neglectful drunk blush. I think Arena's greatest purpose right now is to make Tavern Brawl look good.
Although getting to level 100 requires some dedication, it's also true that dailies and weeklies alone will get you there before the end of the expansion cycle. I suggest you claim your lvl 100 reward and then grind again once DK goes live.

I'm not actually sure if it is turn 5 or 6 only, but I for sure know that it will count if you retreat on 5 or 6. I didn't think to test other turns.
New Card - Omega Red
10 or more; exactly 10 would be a silly implementation that you could almost never hit

The game has tons of luck.
But it's still fun :)

So it's ahead by exactly 10, or 10 or more?
