I actually thought about this today. Wanted to play safe, so I completed all my quests. I think it's safe to have 1 slot open, but make sure you also complete the new quest that is coming today before the expansion goes live too.
If I recall correctly the previous launches, it's never more than 2 new quests on D day. 1 legendary quest prompting you to play standard for pack(s) plus your usual daily one. ''Occasionally'' an extra-extra quest to earn a rogue skin ...

I agree that we're trying to go fast, but I'm 99% sure there are going to be multiple decks that go a lot faster than this, meaning that we need to have ways to keep control of the game. Sul'thraze does that extremely well, especially with Armored Goon. I've played Sul'thraze before, and I'd say on average you get 3 hits in on decks that care about the board.

But to say the least, the fun experience this deck gives is unique when playing against another control deck. Also that omegalul moment when your opponent plays Kazakus and nothing happens, then he realises he made a mistake. (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
I was happy too because Anub'arak, Spellweaver, Venomancer, and Anub'ar Ambusher seem to work here, and they never see play elsewhere. I also used to run two copies of Nerubian Prophet, but the Elekks that came with Boomsday have been a massive improvement for spamming the nerubians. I really hope Blizzard prints more Nerubian cards for Rogue or as neutral cards in the future. I really like dem spiders.
