Well, I just played a game against spell hunter. If I recall correctly, if you used Dire Frenzy twice on the same beast - e.g. on a Vicious Scalehide - It would give you a 7-9 Vicious Scalehide on board and six 4-6 Vicious Scalehide in your deck, right? That is, while you buff the card on board twice, copies are only shuffled into the deck with the buff applied once. This is due to the card text stating "Shuffle three copies into the deck ..." (which implies no buff) "... with +3/+3".
In that game, Zul'jin casted multiple frenzies on the same scalehide, and the hunter then played a 13-15 scalehide, meaning that all the buffs were applied to this copy in the deck. This interaction is new, right? At least, I do not remember it working that way. And it would break spell hunter completely if you ask me.
Dude you must be fun at parties. Whining about an ancient card back that's now given out to newer players as well so you can't feel special anymore and trying so hard to convince people how rude it is is just pathetic.
I’m all for it. Look if it goes a bit wrong and it’s warping the meta - fine let’s nerf it. I think the card will be fun if you run into it occasionally and we can always nerf if it gets too much.
I'm curious as to how this quest reward will work with Crystal Power. Does it allow you to target two separately or does it make you deal damage to and then heal the same minion? Will Branching Paths get all three?
While I agree with you that the power level of these two quests is low, we still have yet to see the other seven — assuming of course that the other classes all get one.
How is that rude? Blizzard don't owe us anything. Also, that cardback is a few years old. What's wrong with current players getting it?
Its like saying God of War 3 was released on the PS3 back then. Hence, players should not buy the GOW3 Remastered on the PS4. This is what you sound like:
"Its rude on Sony side for doing so! It was a PS3 exculsive! If they want to play it, they should have gotten it back in the days! Oh, you missed it? Then, too bad! It's mine and exclusively mine cos I PLAYED IT BACK THEN AND OWN A PS3! I feel SPECIAL! F**k new players who wants to experience it!!"
Furthermore, by your definition of exclusivity, there shouldn't even have Wild in the first place and sell Wild packs on the Blizzard store. This means, let's take Year of the Mammoth sets for example, these sets should just be gone permanently and not even allowed to be crafted. Unless you started playing the game at 2017, you will never be ever be able to obtain Un'Goro, KOFT or KAC cards ever again.
You wanna play Wild? Too bad! You can't! Cos those old cards from the previous years? C'thun, Tri-Class cards, Quests, Death Knights, Legendary Weapons and other cool stuff, you wanna play them? Then, you should have started earlier and it's your fault for not doing so. They are gone forever.
You see how stupid that sounds? Your reasoning irks and disgust me. Regardless, you will ignore logic and be a stubborn prick. Typing away to "counter" my points. Well, have a good day, sir.
Yesterday, I experienced the worst rng in a long time. I was playing as a Mech Paladin against a Plot Twist Warlock. I managed to stay alive through all the combos, and the odds were in my favor to win. The Warlock was running out of cards and played Rafaam with 4 cards in hand, 1 left in his deck. Rafaam gave him Face Collector which he played twice the following turn. He was pretty low on health and taking fatigue damage while I was almost at full and had board control. What could he possibly get that would turn the tide? Well, on his next turn, he plays Chef Nomi which he got from one of the Face Collectors. Are you kidding me?! I could still win this I thought. The fatigue damage is kicking in. I just have to hold out a little longer. Then he plays Archivist Elysiana, which he got off the other Face Collector. What are the odds?
Look at it this way: you and I got to enjoy the Ragnaros card back for the past X months while those who missed that particular season didn't. We don't begrudge others the purchase of old games at a discounted price, because there is a value in enjoying something when it's fresh.
I really love the older, grittier art that was taken from the original WoW trading card game. While the newer, more cartoonish art is appealing, I still think the older art is better in most cases. As for the individual cards:
Queen of Pain: I think both pieces have merit, but the name change is dumb.
Eviscerate: Can hardly see the difference, so why bother changing it in the first place.
Succubus/Felstalker: As numerous people have said, Succubus is a core demon to the Warlock class in WoW and a fantasy staple. The fact that of all the cards, this one was swapped entirely really makes me doubt the Hearthstone team. World of Warcraft is the foundation that Hearthstone was built on and it seems like they've either forgotten that fact or don't care.
Deadly Shot: While I appreciate the connection between the old art and the new, their is no doubt that the old art was better.
Windfury Harpy: In my opinion, the only indisputably upgrade.
Secretkeeper: I see people saying that this new art is better, but I can't bring myself to agree. The new art isn't bad, but it doesn't feel like the same card and is rather boring. Now it's just "generic mage".
Bite: What a pile of steaming shit. Give me the old art back.
Headcrack: The old art looked cooler and matched the name well. The new art feels like it wasn't even made for Headcrack.
I don't think a little blood or boobs is going to corrupt anyone. This feels like the video game equivalent to wrapping kids in bubble-wrap. I'd rather Hearthstone stay true to itself and its roots than bending backwards to please everyone.
I wouldn't hate the idea of them being bi-class cards, but I feel like they would've shown at least one of those right at the start, since it would be a "new mechanic" of sorts. So I'm not expecting that to happen.
It doesn't say all unspent mana just any. If you use a coin then don't spend they generated mana it's unspent mana. It has no relation to the Omega cards either which a very specific about crystals
The very specific phrasing of the omega cards ("if you have 10 mana crystals") suggests that they should work with temporary mana crystals, but they don't.
If anything, there's a stronger argument to be made that this shouldn't work with coin because you lose that mana crystal (spent or otherwise) at the end of turn, whereas this card wants you to end the turn with mana still unspent.
To illustrate this differently, if you end the turn with unspent mana those crystals stay blue on your opponent's turn. I'm pretty sure *those* are the mana crystals this card cares about. Burning a coin won't give you a blue crystal on your opponent's turn, it just fizzles.
All that said, we simply can't know for sure until release or until a dev tells us how it'll work because HS has never been very consistent or precise in their wording, as the example of the Omega cards illustrates.
The only change that really bothers me is Deadly Shot. Probably because it's the most played of all these cards (except Eviscerate which was barely changed). The new art has a ton of negative space, and just doesn't have the same flavor. The three ladies actually all look way better. Felstalker should only be referred to as Dana or Zuul.
I think awarding old card backs is good for the game. I've been playing since beta and I only missed one card back. I missed the BRM pre-order card back because I had just got laid off from my job and couldn't justify pre-ordering the adventure. Ended up getting a new job during the 3rd wing and bought it anyway. Always regret that.

Opinions?
Whats up with emote spamming?
Wrong. Control priest and dragon inner/fire priest are more than legend viable.

New Neutral Minion - Questing Explorer
And the strong Quest decks back then would've been even stronger. I don't think it would've changed much in that regard.
New Priest Spell - Plague of Death
Love it!!

Looking forward to it, wil definitely put in my deck, even if it has downsides to it.

No more sitting on that Tavern Brawl quest...
I never understood why they did these 'breaks' to begin with so this is a welcome change I guess.
New Shaman Minion - EVIL Totem
Just compare this with Totem Golem, Jade Claws, Murkspark Eel and Dire Wolf Alpha. Then think which card you would rather have on turn 2.
My answer is a resounding no towards EVIL Totem.

I played against the new druid hero but Elise doesn't have any audio. Is this phone oriented? Do I need to reinstall the game or will it fix itself

I don't normally buy the pre-order bundles, but that Elise Hero is too beautiful to pass up.

Thanks for the update, the new druid skin is amazing.
A skin bundle containing all 4 heroes would be great too, I wish blizzard would do that, haha :p
