  • New Neutral Minion - SI:7 Infiltrator

If I squint it's Tomb Pillager, which is awesome; 4 5/4 has proven to be a playable statline, Hunter's are strong right now though more the Midrange variety, but won't matter cause 4 5/4 can be curve filler, unlike the 5 mana 4/6.

  • 10 New Hearthstone Cards Coming to the Game, New Hall of Fame Additions

I liked every card but Legendaries. Brightwing shows another poor design of "Add a Random X to your hand" even though its a Dragon. As for Whitemane, she is literally another design failure. We already have N'Zoth or Gul'dan which functions similar of her, so why add another card that is not creative? Also, being 7-Mana can be scary compared to N'Zoth and Guldan because you will summon whole board with her for 7-Mana compared to 10-Mana. In Wild, she can be utilized as 2nd N'Zoth if executed well.

Again, I will repeat: I liked every card but Legendaries. I'm literally in love with the art of Siegebreaker but that's another story. I hope nerf bells won't toll early for Whitemane, just like for Elysiana. Otherwise, I wish the best for the future of Hearthstone.

    This card is amazing.

Any deck that runs lots of minions will want to include this. You get a card with good stats on the ability to bring back lots of smaller minions that died if you traded that turn.

The issue with this is, as we've seen with Revenge of the Wild, if you have a board of small minions, you should probably just be going face.

  • New Neutral Minion - SI:7 Infiltrator

Finally they added anti-secret card to classic set (with a nice stats too), instead printing new one every 2 years.

  • New Neutral Minion - Barrens Stablehand

Terrible card. Stats worth 4 mana, so u need at least 3 mana beast to make it worthy (preferable 4 or more mana). For now u have 65 beasts in standard - 23 are 1-2 mana, 11 3 mana and over 3 mana u still have shitty cards like Hireek, Halazzi or Gral. Chances to get something good are below 50%. Compare this to  Exotic Mountseller or Ram Wrangler.

As they add more of these tech cards I think they need to add some secrets that interact with them in some way. Not sure how that would look but it would be sweet if a secret had one effect if triggered and a secondary effect if it was eaten or destroyed.

  • New Warlock Minion - Siegebreaker

This card is actually insane for arena purposes. Yes, we've seen better taunts, but it is still damn good stats, has a demon tag and more importantly, never rotates lol. WL didnt have a consistent way to get powerful taunts. Well, now he has. Damn.

Interesting that they see card draw as a limitation for Priest. I guess they've never went full Northshire.

There's some highroll potential in this one, not sure if I like that.

I mean, if you want to pay 7 mana to take a very slim chance to high roll a King Krush or something, I think I'm probably okay with that. Seems fair enough. But it's a good point.

    No thanks.

Decent card for Arena Rogue, definitely better than Vanish :) Priest one is a joke, but i guess basic set is basic set.

This card needed to be in the classic set. I'm glad they've added one. And it's pretty decent, too.

  • New Neutral Minion - Barrens Stablehand

    Nope.

  • New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane

Ah thanks for the correction you are correct. I forgot that your creature lasted until the beginning of your next turn. That would work. I jumped in too quickly on that one. Sorry.

    Kel'Thuzad was never very good.
Revenge of the Wild hasn't found a way to be very good.
I think we might be at the point where we can reasonably say that these effects aren't very good.

  • New Paladin Spell - Righteousness

5 mana seems way too expensive to me.  Just compare it to Unidentified Maul.  Granted theres RNG involved with it, but it can do the same thing for 3 mana and comes with a 2/2 weapon.

  • New Neutral Minion - Brightwing

Cute, fun. Probably ends there. Random legendaries are no longer a good thing. Dragon tag is something, I guess.

  • Keeping Hearthstone Unique - Class Identity Breakdown

I'd rather have Mind Blast finishes than Inner Fire.

IF is basically got nothing desperation win for priest. I should know because I was that way when I came back to Hearthstone three years ago with only Naxx cards. It's also the closest priest gets to quick finish if they get the perfect opening hand of big minion, health buffs and IF. And I despise that.

At present, the new card offers no synergy with shadow, which makes it useless for clever OTK priest builds, unless some sort of stop hitting yourself shenanigans is made.

Considering tavern brawls are going more standard-only cards as well, priest is even losing that avenue of play.

/make shadowform priest useful for a change, Blizz

  • New Neutral Minion - Brightwing

Cheap neutral Dragon that doesn't rely on other Dragons to function.  Seems like it would fit nicely into Menagerie Decks!

  • New Paladin Spell - Righteousness

"5 mana - win all your trades this turn"  OR "5 mana Soul of the Forest for Paladin".

This definitely doesn't see play now, but I wouldn't sleep on it.
there was a time where we were like "lul level up"

When you Nightmare your Ysera then res it with this card

I don't think that would work unless your Ysera died from the attack itself. Nightmare's death effect is an end of turn effect at which point it is too late to play this new card to get your Ysera back.

This is a powerful tool and could be a one sided board wipe if used effectively. It is on the slower side though. I could imagine a scenario with beast where you could exploit this using unleash the hounds in some way.

Wrong! Nightmare target dies at the start of your next turn, so u can ress her, unless enemy killed her during his turn (but why should he do that?). Probably best new card and in classic set. One time Kel'Thuzad.

I'm pretty sure that Nightmare destroys your minion at the start of the turn after which you played it.

  • New Druid Spell - Gift of the Wild

Redundancy is the name of the game. This costs A LOT, and there have been times where Cenarius was played in token. Definitely not a card for the current iteration of Token Druid, IMO. It's not the right metagame for a card this costly. But there was a time when Level Up didn't make much sense, too.
