I mean it can be good to buff your forest aid if it sticks... but very expensive for what it does... I mean you can get same effect without taunt for just 6 mana, and flexible because twinspell, why pay 8 for adding a taunt... if you want to protect your own face there are better ways in druid...
I think we had a similar card but with combo instead of battlecry... was powerhouse in arena. This one is also pretty good in Arena (as opposed to Vanish being not good because doesn't play well in average Rogue Arena Deck), but in constructed it is still ok with 1/1s or minions that do AOE damage...
I'm glad blizzard has been adding more and more updates between expansions, seems they are on a great path! There is nothing better for the game than devs Finally listening to the player base and adding extra things for us to try in a slow period.
The problem I have with the Mind Blast rotation is that it has often been an implied part of class identity as part of the Shadow Priest identity. From artwork to damage, it's Shadow Priest, though it may not fit the "reverse healing as damage" technical wording of some of the other cards. Looking at it from a lore and identity standpoint though, it's a skill directly from the Shadow Priest specialization in World of Warcraft. It IS Priest. There may be other reasons to rotate it out, but saying it's not part of class identity is a little frustrating, especially when there are several other cards constantly rotating in and out (and classic/basic) that support the Shadow Priest class identity. Maybe reword it or introduce a proper Shadow card to better represent the specialization, but tossing it out and claiming class identity is a tough sell. That being said, I'm still excited for the other changes and additions.
There's some highroll potential in this one, not sure if I like that.
I mean, if you want to pay 7 mana to take a very slim chance to high roll a King Krush or something, I think I'm probably okay with that. Seems fair enough. But it's a good point.
With Ram Wrangler I remember there were a lot of times I’d get a high roll from it, with around vanilla stats being the usual result. Don’t think there’s nearly enough bigger beasts for the effect to be worth it anymore though
Thats one of the type of decks I really enjoy playing. Any replacements for Benedictus and Zola? those are the only ones i'm missing.
Well, I made a small section regarding card replacements and recommendations:
Possible discounts and card recommendations: Zola the Gorgon - Look, ya can easily use Seance instead of her, but I don't be wantin' to ruin de outcome of Shadow Visions, when I desperately want ta search foh a specific spell (eithah an AoE against aggro or Entomb against Big Priest). Archbishop Benedictus - Good card versus control decks, which reach fatigue. Kinda hard to find a replacement, because no other card can delay fatigue like he does. I would suggest something else - ya can use Piloted Shredder or Rotten Applebaum, in order to speed up de quest completion process, to have bettah chances against aggressive strategies and to deny ya hand gettin overflooded with value from N'Zoth. But if ya aim ta have fun, den try to add some meme cards as a compensation.
Zola the Gorgon - as I said in the quoted paragraph, if you want to replace the copying card with a cheaper version, you could always use Seance. The reason why I don't use it is because I want Shadow Visions to be really picky, when it searches through my deck for spells. Against Big Priest for example I want to discover one specific spell - Entomb - and I don't want something to get in the way of me fetching it. It's all about numbers and the more different spells I have in my deck, the lesser the chances of finding something, which I desire at a given moment. That's why I would recommend doing something else like adding a deathrattle minion (a second Sludge Belcher, a Rotten Applebaum or a Bloodmage Thalnos) in your deck. Some people don't mind running Seance and if you care more about having fun and memeing your opponent, then you can use this instead. It also adds more flavour to the deck.
Archbishop Benedictus - Fortunately for you he is rarely useful (only when I face Big Priests, Renolocks and in some rare cases other control decks), so you can safely put something cheaper (preferably a deathrattle minion for N'zoth).
As a player who is playing now wild more than standard (playing since Karazhan, purchased older adventures and also wild bundles), I don't care that much, but i guess that missing Vanish and Mind Blast (i blame Archmage Vargoth for this one) will hurt.
Whitemane seems to have some potential in arena, since you can use it regain the board used for trading, and maybe she can fit even in meta decks (in an Aggro or Midrange deck in the future.), Some of the other cards are acceptable(Brightwing, SI:7 infiltrator), But what really surprised me is the fact that two basic cards are rotating. I've never thought they would do that, but lets hope its for the best.
Looks pretty strong assuming you can consistently get 3/4 minions on the board with 8 mana, ideal play would be wispering woods and soul of the forest turn 7, followed by this turn 8
I'm kinda shocked at vanish being rotated, rn that pretty much leaves fan of knives as their only aoe (unless I'm forgetting something), which feels pretty bad
Righteousness
Way too expensive for somewhat minor effect...
Gift of the Wild

New Priest Spell - Radiance
reverse powercreep Binding Heal
A Weekend of Wild Decks
Thanks for the shoutout! Looks like I might have to write a real guide now.
Siegebreaker
Too slow for though, not to mention zoo actually doesn't have that many demons. And in other types of warlock just isn't good...
New Rogue Minion - Plaguebringer
outside of a combo with wild pyro, ew
Radiance
Well one of the best basic spells of priest got replaced by this trash... I suppose priest now only playable end of year even more so then before...
New Neutral Minion - Barrens Stablehand
And the chances of this lowrolling are even greater. Imagine summoning a 1- or a 2-cost beast; the risk is not worth the inclusion.
Plaguebringer

I'm glad you liked it! It's been fun working on it.

I really like Whitemane and the Siegebreaker, and I will tolerate Brightwing because it's a Dragon; I still have PTSD from Heroes of the Storm.

Pretty decent. Technicaly it can be viewed as infinite value, although that is way too unreliable.

Regarding replacements:
Plaguebearer - seems playable
Siegebreaker - seems worth the mana cost and can work as finisher in some zoo demon deck or ress demon deck
SI:7 Infiltrator - nice body with nice battle cry, this is very good imho
High Inquisitor Whitemane - someone will find some f*cked up way to cheese this in wild very soon i guess:)
rest of cards - underwhelming

New Warlock Minion - Siegebreaker
The design is interesting, and not too overpowered, but I am sad they didn't to for another discard theme card to replace Doomguard. I like it.
EDIT: It also makes Bane of Doom better, which is a plus.
