I went through a phase of calling my WoW toons after Hull city players and Bullard (after Jimmy Bullard) was my main. I just ported it over when I started playing Hearthstone
Way back when Maplestory was new and relatively popular, my friends and I signed up and played it together for about a year. After that, they slowly started leaving the game one by one, until I was basically playing it alone - which ended up causing me to take a break from the game as well.
About 2-3 years down the line, I got bored and decided to get back to the game. Problem was I couldn't remember my old account info and had to start a new one. I was in no mood to think of a creative name so I just decided that since the beginner mobs are snails - I would be the snail killer. That was taken and Snailblood was the next best thing.
After that - all my account names have snail-related bits to them.
Archivist Elysiana is pretty much required for control warrior and control shaman, and arguably for bomb warrior too. Without that card the former two decks would lose all mirror matches due to hitting fatigue a lot faster.
Chef Nomi only really sees play in some tempo rogue lists and nomi priest (which isn't a good deck).
Neither of them are must-crafts unless you want to play warrior or contorl shaman, I'd say.
If the new ownership can keep hearthpwn alive idc if it fucked over flux that site >>>> this site
what you saying is just disrespectful without flux, chimera and the rest of the team heartpwn was not so great as it is today . They put there time and energy in it and did it with love. Have some respect ;)
Now as respond to this topic my thoughts is that i am happy that they keep heartpwn alive i am there for a long time and its a amazing site for that thanks to the whole ORIGINAl team
About the way how it is done i cant judge because i dont know all ins and outs and its also not really my bussines I hope that the new team dont destroying what the original team build up
I dont think hate is needed or you need to choose you can be a active member on both only dont donate anythink to them thats only for here alowed
When I first started gaming I am really bad at names and had a tough time thinking of one.
I can’t remember which game but when I needed a name for one all I could think about was the documentary on space I had seen the night before.
They were talking about the explosions that might have created the supermassive black holes at the centre of galaxies and they were much bigger than supernovae and they were calling them hyper-novae. And they were referred to as the most destructive thing in the universe.
So singular is Hyper Nova and I though the most destructive thing in the universe was an apt name for a gamer and it stuck ever since.
If the new ownership can keep hearthpwn alive idc if it fucked over flux that site >>>> this site
then to be quite frank you're an idiot, Flux and these guys have done huge amounts for the community over the years and anyone can see they will continue to do so here, I'd much rather use Out of Cards now which is run by people who actually care for the community and have done huge amounts for us and kept us properly up to date with everything, then to carry on using hearthpwn which is now going to be run by a bunch of monkeys we've never even heard of. lol
OP: cool thread - it was fun to read through so far! I got mine because I used to build up 80's Japanese sports cars around the same time that the Fast & Furious franchise started (I'm forty this year). I was building an S13 Silvia here, stateside, and when I was doing the JDM front end conversion, I replaced the factory battery and battery support brackets with a much smaller unit and held it in place with......... metal bookends from Walmart. My friend Mike never let me live it down and I've been going by "bookends" or "BookendS" ever since!
I was planning on migrating here eventually, but the shenanigans with sale just gave me an uneasy feeling about Heathpwn and its future. I think I'm here for good now.
Hi!

Hey and Welcome, glad you've chosen to use Out of Cards and I hope many more follow after everything that's happened with hearthpwn lately

What I had to do last time was leave twitch running on my phone while I slept since the time difference was huge
This is exactly the same for me last time, it started at something obnoxious like 3AM.
I got my packs leaving my iPad on playing the stream, did you get any classic packs? I always think that tablets and phones won't reward twitch drops, despite always being told they do.
My dislike for them grew from how prolific they were with distributing add-ons for games (World of Warcraft being a big one) without taking much responsibility for when some of those add-ons came with adware, trojans, key-loggers, spyware, and other oddness (either with the initial download, or later in an update for it). Curse may have helped a lot of people enjoy their game experience more, but they also helped a lot of people get their accounts hacked in unexpected ways (or need to reformat their computer).
To me, Curse was never a "you can trust in us" company, but rather a "you take your chances" sort of thing. My opinion, no idea how many others share it.
There's literally no reason for any community member to get hung up on a url. You follow and support the content creators you like. I'm done with Hearthpwn, and I'm here for Out of Cards. Best of luck to the new owners of Hearthpwn. If they show themselves to be competent content creators I'm sure I'll end up back on the site at some point, but I'm not visiting the url for at least three months while Out of Cards gets up and running. I'll get my updates here.
As someone who has watched this from both a business and an HS fan perspective, I am thoroughly disgusted by how Flux and team were treated. I am here happily, and will spread the word. I will also see if I can scrape together a few bucks to hit Patreon or even do a one time donation on Twitch.
The staff team is a good part of what made HP. And I have no doubt that Out of Cards will be even better than that place, once you guys have found your feet and developed all that you wish to.
Giving $5/$20 to the prize pool is pretty cool. While I understand the cap, it would be better if it was just a lower percentage after this threshold so that folks could still support the players. See if they can sell another 25,000 bundles with $2/$20 going to the players.

To me it's the opposite: this site >>> that site (and I almost feel sorry for the new team there).
Welcome to the real world, where subjective opinions and choices exist. :)

Active or Inactive status doesn't affect it (at least it never has in the past). As long as you're on the stream you should be eligible for the drop.
