I have been wondering about the hero power selection in the heist adventure and it seems like the hero powers in the adventure might be alternative hero powers in common play in the future..
Of course not in the same balance since they are a bit overturned for the adventure but a toned down version (or even buffed) might be something that might appeal to team 5 to implement into HS in the future..
Think about it many cards/archtypes team 5 tried to push failed due to lack of consistency, for example "freeze" tempo mage(the one with tempo freeze cards) or overload shaman, or rush/enrage tempo warrior decks..
I think such decks have been held back by the lack of support in the hero powers, there seem to be some hero powers that might support those archtypes while still being basic enough for the game.
I will give my idea about implementing the heist hero powers into standard play will try to keep it as brief as possible as this post is already too long anyway.
Do note that I am balancing them around "the effects cost either 0 mana or 1 mana and a drawback"
By upgraded I mean the baku hero power.
Mage: 2 mana freeze an enemy. upgraded: and deal 1 damage to it
Shaman: 2 mana draw a card overload (1), 1 mana might be too OP, at 2 mana it enables overload synergy easier, while having a clear draw back. upgraded: draw 2 cards.
Hunter: opportunist from heist is perfect as is +2 attack is balanced by the fact you need to have rush or already present minions to activate it. upgraded: +3 attack
Priest: 2 mana lower the attack of a minion by 2 until your next turn. upgraded: by 3
Rogue: 2 mana burgle a card from another class (not sure might be too OP, no idea how to nerf it but it's a "0 mana" effect) upgraded: burgle 2 cards.
Warrior:2 mana deal 1 damage to a friendly minion give it +2 attack upgraded: +3.
Druid: 2 mana give a friendly minion +1/+1. upgraded: +2/+1
Paladin: 2 mana give a friendly minion divine shield. upgraded: I am actually not sure.. maybe the other one supporting hand buff is more healty.
Now are you thinking how would they reward them to players.. well there IS a pointless system currently that tracks your hero level that level is totally pointless from level 10, it could after level 30 for example unlock the alternate hero powers which you will choose on deck building, also the hero power will need to show up on the hero portrait for clarity so you can mulligan for it better.
What do you think will blizzard/team 5 introduce such a change in the future, and used heist as a testing ground for this feature?
I played against a similar deck and it had Test Subject along with Inner Fire combo, maybe experiment with that? I agree that the deck runs out of steam pretty quickly, I'd consider putting in more draw.
prep+violet haze doesnt "get" you any cards, used together they just use up two card slots that could have been used playing actual cards in those slots, random deathrattles are not what wins you the game at all. all it does is allow you an early sea giant if played without prep on 2
League of legends name selector, I had this word "summoner" in front of me, "your summoner name" tried many names they all were taken.. good thing I landed up on this name cause even now 7 years later I think this name is cool and I main Shaco in league which is a champion which has a cloning ability so it's fitting to me, and I always thought of it as a person who brings more potential into the game by having the ability to do stuff twice.
Kept using it on other games as well and just kept using it now it's my name in every gaming environment I join.. I know it's a yugioh card which is actually one of the cards I liked the most, since it bends such a basic rule of being able to normal summon an additional monster this turn, I am not longer a follower of the yu gi oh franchise (Although is is the main reason I started playing HS) but I still appreciate the card and I was well aware when choosing my name, and some people DID mention it over the years.
Why so many one of 1 drops? seems way too inconsistent to me. If I was you, I would try to remake this deck, maybe consider some more consistent card draw/Cycle like Acolyte of Pain along with Surrender to Madness to give this deck an edge to not be outclassed by other tempo decks like mech Hunter and Zoolock
I picked this one around 20 years ago, God knows for what forum it was.
The simple explanation of it is... Well, I'm an edgy guy who is always ready to defend his lines (my principles) and his angles (the things I believe in, the way I see the world).
I'm also a professional graphic and web designer. My job requires me to create 3D renders for my clients from time to time too. I believe it fits me really well.
I'm a weeb :D Around seven years ago I watched Bleach and really liked the name of one of the weapons, Suzumebachi, I keep using it or some variation of it in every game I play
Horus been my gametag since early Diablo2 days, when my B.net account was created. At the time, I was also playing some Warhammer 40k and always had a thing for baddies. After using this name on one too many game, it just stucked to me, plus it has a goddly ring to it!
I prefer Mortarion from the primarch's. Nurgle was always my favourite Chaos God.
Night Goblins are my favourite overall race from the entire warhammer Universe though. Also Skaven are great in the books, really funny. I like Undead as well. But the proper Old School WHFB undead was the best.
Nurgle is my favourite in 40k though by a long way though, especially when it comes to making armies as the customization you could do was like no other race. you could get any marnies and just convert them with a scalpel, bits from other kits and green stuff mainly.
I'm talking before they had all those new plastic kits, there were not a lot of options so you had to make your own stuff. Made for very interesting model building/painting as you would be buying boxes of fantasy stuff to use parts of in 40k, loads of zombie bits and that.
I remember making scythes as well with a stretched out paperclip, green stuff'ed the handle then used a re-purposed scything talon from a genestealer for the blade. using green stuff to tie it all together, you'd have never known where the blade came from, looked legit. ha ha.
Horus is cool though. Still got a poster of him and the Emperor's last battle somewhere.
Title says it all, but I will explain it for better understanding: Wild players create Odd/Even decks. On Hearthpwn, we can filter cost of cards as Odd/Even. So, why not here?
Now this one really needs attention because it helps people to build their deck conveniently. On Hearthpwn, we can preview a card when we hover over a card, as seen in the picture (Yellow: Mouse cursor, screenshot didn't bring it out):
Whereas, on OutofCards, it's not possible, seen here (Yellow: Mouse cursor):
Hope it's possible to bring both features here, especially Thumbnail one, because it can be quite annoying when you forgot a card's ability and you need to search from pictures to find it. With thumbnail, all we need to do is hover over a card's name and that's it.
Just barely started it just ot see and realized something: starting even Normal mode with the random added effect on might not be a good idea.
I have "randomly get rush/divine/whatever" and nearly got slammed by the third guy thanks to them getting rushing folks and me having my divine shield minion get divine shield and everyone else getting windfury uselessly.
And judging by how everyone seems to be winning with 0 maan sound the bells it makes me wonder about the difficulty of 100% completing this thing with every class, deck, and hero power.
Back in the days of Starcraft (before broodwar) and Warcraft II battlenet edition I was -EF-Hydralisk. EF stands for Clan Elite Force. It was an amazing clan that I had so much fun being in. I have had this name for 20 years now. Probably will never change it!
My IGN used to be Sabido everywhere (still is whenever I start a Pokémon fan-made game). However, after the 2010 World Cup, where Portugal (where I'm from) lost to Spain, and after a friend of mine convinced me to start playing League of Legends, I made an account with Sabido and, when they asked me for my summoner name (why we need an account name and a different summoner name baffles me) I remembered how salty my friend was after that game (he takes the whole Portugal-Spain rivalry way too seriously), so I "spain-ianized" my IGN from Sabido to El Sabidón. Sadly, HS or this forum/HPwn don't allow spaces in the nicknames, nor do they allow for the ´ symbol, so I use ElSabidon in that scenario.
What about not the new tribe but two-tribe minions? Not the "all" tribe, something more like "pirate/beast". And we still have no tribe to be played around spells as tribe synergy.
