There are no plans for any kind of data transfer out from HearthPwn. We don't own any of the data, it all belongs to Fandom. If you want to move stuff over that you made on the site, that is well within your rights to do so :D
Achievements and Titles will all be different here, maybe some will be the same because they were great references, but that's about it.
Hi, just a simple question, will we be able to merge our old hearthpwn accounts with the new ones in this forum? I am mainly thinking about the achievements and titles I got there :D
Is there any problem advertising a stream and/or youtube channel in signatures?
Assuming the answer to the above question is no, is there a specific problem with advertising an addiction recovery channel? Subject matter would be solidly in the PG to PG-13 area, but I realize some see it as a touchy subject.
Couldn't think of a better spot to ask this question. Thanks for your time.
One thing that drove me crazy about King Rastakhan is how the totems from his hero power are not golden.
I believe they changed this with Lei Shen, which is nice.
Also, I know a lot of you resist buying skins for skins' sake, but Magni Bronzebeard is the best skin in the game. The animation of his HP, his emotes, and his card back are all choice. Unfortunately, he doesn't come with packs, but such is the life of a non-f2per
Wispering Woods is arguably the best card in token druid, it really is worth crafting if you enjoy the deck. In the list above SN1P-SN4P is the major omission, much better than Zilliax. You can drop Wrath and then Keeper Stalladris as they're not essential. The deck can't support mountain giants but Sea Giants might work if you want to try something different!
Is it just me or is everyone and their mother playing hunter lately? I came back from a vacation with my family and all I get is mech hunters. How bad have these new changes been?
Hunter has become extremely popular and all of its archetypes are really strong again. If you tire of the ladder, be like me and waste your day trying to get lucky with the last chapter of the Dalaran Heist, where none of the "treasures" I needed were ever offered to me today after playing through the damn thing like 10 times. Double health? And hello, Bartender Bob, yoooohoooo, I need my spell reduced by three mana. I really don't need a Hogger or a Lorewalker Cho
It's OK, but it just seems to confirm to me that you really need luck on your side to finish this chapter! I have had to repeat the chapter a gazillion times and still can't finish it. And a lot of times Bob doesn't even offer you the opportunity to edit spells in your deck to reduce the cost of one of them. If you were always given the option to double your health this chapter would be so much easier to finish. Then of course, the boss with the limited time turns doesn't allow you to even use your 0 mana sounds the bell if you were lucky enough to get it down to 0 mana with Bartender Bob and then actually draw the darn thing. Oh well, I can always just spend all day tomorrow trying to finish this darn chapter, LOL!
As people have pointed out though, the card will require work from team 5 indefinitely if this was to be the case. I really don't know how it will be handled. Maybe we will just see similar cards in the future. I really just don't know.
Deck recipes existed before Whizzbang, it's a feature Blizzard want to keep going with or without Whizz.
I mainly play for fun and enjoy creating my own decks that fit my style. Before the update I was playing a Dragon Shudderwock deck with moderate success. It pushed me from rank 15 to rank 8. I am not too concerned with climbing ladder, but I do want to at least be competitive with my decks. Since the update I have been facing so many aggro decks that I am beaten by turn 7 since my deck plays slow. I made some tweaks to make the deck stronger at the beginning and middle and it seems to be doing ok. Just wanted to see what thoughts you all have on how I could tweak the deck.
Second rotation in the Year of the Dragon happened on June 3rd and brought 4 new sets of cards to Arena!
How is the new rotation treating you? What classes you think are the top dogs right now? Did some jumped to the top or get knocked down? Or is it the same old same old? What cards do you like the most from current pool? And which drive you crazy? Tell us!
Current card pool for Arena:
Basic
Classic
Goblins vs Gnomes
The Grand Tournament
One Night in Karazhan
The Boomsday Project
Rise of Shadows
Classes by win rate (source HSreplay, at the time of writing):
Paladin (53,3%)
Mage (52,4%)
Rogue (51,7%)
Druid (51,2%)
Warlock (48,6%)
Hunter (48,5%)
Shaman (47,1%)
Priest (45,4%)
Warrior (39,2%)
Top 10 class cards that are being picked the most (+neutrals):
What can we see from the data collected so far, there is little to no AOEs, which shouldnt come as a surprise, since the current sets didnt introduce many, at least not in the common/rare slot.
Mage and priest, and to some extent rogue, have advantage from having good aoes in their basic/classic sets with high offering rates. Other classes are not so lucky. Early tempo is still the name of the game. Many classes that could play defensively and value decks in the last rotation, like Warlock for example, lost most of their control tools, so they are forced into aggro/tempo archetypes, which is further supported by the type of cards in the current pool.
Keep in mind that this is obviously a very early report, but should give you some idea about how Arena looks at the moment.
What would you replace Wispering Woods with in that Token Druid deck? I want to try something different compared to my normal controlling-archetypes, but I'm not crafting those. I was thinking SN1P-SN4P, Mulchmunchers, and/or some Mountain Giants, just to be different.
The Mech Token Druid isn't playing SN1P SN4P, and that feels like a mistake. I believe the deck only runs 1 Mecharoo (since Acorn Bearer is the 1 drop you want anyway).
As Chimera asked about your edge version, I wanted to chime in.
There are some seriously broken issues in Edge on older versions, keeping Windows 10 up to date to keep Edge up to date is a really good idea. Luckily, full OS updates won't be required when the New Edge using the chromium rendering stuff gets released.
I don't see the issue with the set icons on Edge 44 (the newest without being on beta windows) however you are correct in that the dropdowns do not work. Although Edge isn't a huge part of our browser share, I'll make sure the dropdowns get fixed. I won't be putting out a fix for icons though since we expect people to have up to date browsers that follow web standards.
Edge has been pretty good overall with web standards support which is nice. It's a shame that it still feels like we're in an IE era where you gotta do hacky stuff for certain browsers (like vendor prefixes, oh god no).

Hm yeah... kinda was trying Paladin in the beginning, but by yesterday it was obvious that hunter is the thing...
Will they move Whizbang to the Classic set?

Around the same mana cost, Flobbidinous Floop and Archmage Vargoth see play in some versions. Hench-Clan Hag, Wargear or the humble Harvest Golem can also fill that void, although none act quite like Wispering.
