How did you discount it? If it was an ongoing effect like Summoning Portal or Corpsewidow then the echoes should be discounted as well. However, it it's a static discount like Galvanizer then it shouldn't affect the echo cost.
Was climbing ladder and had a miss play, noticed that the echo copy does not get a discount. I think that’s whack, but was still able to win the match.
I tried to look around in this feedback forum section for similar requests, but couldn't really find one.
Under the "Cards" section, I was wondering if it's possible to implement (in the near future) a thumbnail image view for all cards at a glance (for all classes, all cards, etc.), rather than full texts. Similar to the Deckbuilder layout, but we could filter and refine based on what we want to see in order to brainstorm and build new decks.
Perhaps we can limit the number of cards loaded per page on the search results, to prevent from loading too slow. And perhaps could set like 20, 50, 100 cards view options.
For that same reason i don't think you could ever print a Sargeras card. It'd have to read something like: "Battlecry: You win the game. Delete your opponent's battlenet account."
Regarding the 0 mana Sound the Bells, I've managed to make this combo twice now. Obviously, barring taunt, Vaporize or Ice Block, it's a free win (although Rocket Boots makes taunt irrelevant). The first time, I actually lost because one boss cast Devour Mind and got a copy of my 0 mana Bells. When he started buffing his minion (I think it was a Mossy Horror), I was ready to quit, as that could literally go on forever, but he stopped at 14 attack. Weird. But I couldn't remove the Horror, so I died. Feelsbadman.
Second time was Heroic Chapter 4, and I took it all the way. Guaranteed wins are great and all, but damn, that was BORING. Dong dong dong dong dong...
However, I discovered something folks might find useful: Elistra the Immortal caps at 30. On Boss 3, I played her and jammed her all the way up to 110 attack just so I'd be able to play her later and kill Khadgar (who has 110 health at the end of Chapter 5). I did play her in the next fight, and she only cast Bells 30 times. Should still be enough in most scenarios.
It isn't reliable. You got lucky. Twice. Which is totally possible. It is also possible for me to not get so lucky. You can have a bad run with it, trust me, because I did, like three times before I just looked for a better alternative. Even if you get the combo available to you it's possible you won't draw it, for example. That happened to me. Also, you can't rely on the tavern offering you the ability to reduce it to zero, which also happened to me. Also, you can't rely on the card being worth 0 another way, which I also attempted with Emerald Goggles. I would ask you to pull off the combo 50 times in a row and then tell us all how it works so well and so reliably. I'm living proof that you can do it with Paladin George without this OTK that relies on A) visiting the tavern and having the card that allows you to reduce a spell by 2 or a random card to 0 B) if you get the option to reduce the spell by 2, that Sound the Bells is in the selection of four so you can reduce its cost C) if in the case of reducing a random card to 0, that the random card that is selected is actually Sound the Bells. THEN, once you're lucky to have all that Tavern mojo happening, you have to draw the darn card before you die, on all levels and also you have to hope you don't get Norroa on phase 8, an encounter in which the turns are timed. You don't have time to buff a minion over and over to pull it off, if you actually draw the darn card.
I actually managed to pull the OTK Sound the Bells all the way to Archmage Vargoth on Friday. That was where my adventure ended because I was unlucky. I didn't draw Sound the Bells before I died. So, it isn't a good strategy, IMHO, it's really a crap shoot. I really tried to make it work and it didn't, so I went for a different strategy that worked for me.
Well sure, but the old gods were some of the swingiest, most high-impact minions around back when they were released. Since then we've had Death Knights, 'normal' hero cards, Genn and Baku and more. I think players would be underwhelmed if Archimonde and Kil'jaeden were printed as just big minions with some powerful battlecry.
I think the power level that would feel appropriate for these characters can't be printed in normal hearthstone, but toning it down just to have them as playable cards would do them a disservice as some of the greatest arch-villains in the warcraft universe, if that makes sense. For that same reason i don't think you could ever print a Sargeras card. It'd have to read something like: "Battlecry: You win the game. Delete your opponent's battlenet account."
Well, we already got the far more powerful Old Gods as cards, so I don't think Archimonde and Kil'Jaden would be much of a problem. But I agree that they most certainly deserve spots as soon as possible.
I really like Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, but they seem impossible to implement in a satisfying way as normal HS cards. They'd almost certainly have to be hero cards that put Jaraxxus, the OG hero card, to shame, in order to reflect their godlike power in the warcraft universe. And I don't see that happening.
They might be cool as final bosses in single player content or some future co-op brawl though. Or maybe you could have a series of busted legendary spells based around their machinations. After all, for all their might most of their meddling in Azeroth's affairs was indirect.
I'm still waiting for us to get Kil'Jaden and/or Archimonde. We will definately get them if we ever get a Burning Leigon themed expansion so I am hoping.

I would say Muradin and the orc chieftains (Ner'zul, Blackhand, Kargath, Killrogg...). I personaly would like to see them all as legendary minions, because of my "Lore Decks."
I'd love to see Thargas Anvilmar and the Titanic Keepers by the way.
I like the idea of a Lore Deck, but haven't heard of one before. Care to fill me in on the details on what one is or how to make one?
First thing's first, when you do find a piece of artwork you use, always save it into your computer. This way you don't need to re-find the image if you need to make a change to a card.
Typically, I just Google Images. Typing "______ fantasy art" you usually does the trick. Sites like Artstation, Deviantart, or Pinterest can provide good artwork to use. In the case of Artstation and Deviantart, you may end saving the name of an artist somewhere so you can use their artwork later. For artworks that more resemble Blizzard creations, blizz-art.com is a good source.
In the event that you find a good piece of artwork you like but you're not ready to use just yet, you can save it in advance so you can use it later.
I really want my boy Turalyon to make an apperance at one point or another.
With the characters that they're missing so far, then there will probably be a Burning Legion expansion at one point or another.
Oh I hope so, lol. So much that can be drawn from both the Burning Legion itself and all of their worlds, and from the Legion Xpac if we need more class variety.
I'm surprised that such a famous hero like Kael'thas is not yet nor a card nor a potrait for Mage (it was during alpha, instead of Jaina, but many of them were different back there).
Also Therazane, the Stone Mother, should be there considering that there are already the other three Elemental Lords.
If it isn't enough, and you don't want to make money out of it, I suggest you to use a site of wallpapers. There are a lot of good things you can use if you don't earn anything from them.
Hello everyone, I am designing my first custom class, and I have no idea where to get art from. up to this point I have just been making miscellaneous cards for card competitions on Hearthpwn (none of which made it to the finals) and it has been fine just googling for the image I need. But when making 20+ cards, well, I need a more reliable source of unique arts. Can anyone who makes a lot of custom cards help me find a place where I can get a lot of good card arts? Thanks in advance.
I noticed a table on the forums that was completely unreadable on mobile. It was 6 columns wide, and for some reason it would set the width of the table to 100% and put all the words vertically.
Personally, I used to have my own argument that Medivh being a hero and a card was not a sign that heroes can be cards because they're both alternate versions of the character and the only thing they have in common is the name, and this same thing would apply to the DK Heroes as well... although now that Khadgar exists as both a card and character that use the same form, pretty much anything is possible at this point. Personally, I really wouldn't want to see any playable heroes make any appearances as cards because it would be really weird for Gul'dan to be playing... Gul'dan, and Team 5 themselves acknowledged this at one point (although since Khadgar, it seems they don't care about this any more), and if they did this, I would prefer they take an approach like the DK Heroes where they are alternate versions of the character.
By the way, I will also put one out for Kael'thas. Therazane is still missing after the other 3 were available for so long, so I'll give one to her as well. I'd love to see a Caverns of Time expansion, although the Taverns of Time seems to put a damper on that ever happening.

What lore characters do you think are overdue for an appearance in hearthstone?
Kael'thas (one of the early memorable WoW bosses)
Eitrigg (one of Thrall's old advisers)
Ji Firepaw (Horde Pandaren leader)
Magatha Grimtotem (evil and female tauren, a rare pair)
Moira Thaurissan (and the other two Dwarf leaders, Magni and Falstad)
Obscure one I'd like: Katak the Defeated. One of the best voice-overs for a one-off character, a strung-up-to-die bad guy who trash talks everyone in the handful of quests in Mists of Pandaria.

Well that's one way to make people play the card.
People were already underwhelmed when Khadgar was printed as a 2 mana 2/2.

Recruit Warrior: Grand Archivist would be hitting Brawl a lot.
Better off with another big and a (or 2) Dead Man's Hand in case your hand gets too many minions early, than just hoping GA doesn't filch out Brawl.
One Billion games code "OneBillion"
Thank you Alfi
