The patch brings support for the "Pyra" and "Mythra" Amiibos, among other things.

Fun fact: At version 2.1.0, the game is in the exact same version as Xenoblade Chronicles II.

As of writing, a new patch was rolled out for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, putting the game on version 4.04 and offering a rather long list of bug fixes and improvements to the game.

I'll get things started off for June 2023.

I've been dabbling in Path of Exile, aiming to get some more seasonal challenges done while we wait for Exilecon to announce the new season (and more PoE 2 info). I also recently was playing Diablo 4, though didn't really enjoy the experience (it will be better in a couple years certainly).

I've also had an opportunity to check out the new F1 23 game which feels like a solid improvement over F1 22. The new lighting looks fantastic and all the cars look better too. Small UI updates and overall better menu flow makes navigating with a steering wheel better. Regretfully I didn't get to write up a review for the game yet.

I'm hoping to get a chance to login to World of Warcraft Classic over the next couple of weeks since Midsummer Fire Festival is taking place and those achievements will be needed for that sweet Violet Proto-Drake =D

Also that Final Fantasy demo is calling my name. This weekend was absolute chaos though so I didn't get a chance to touch it.

Opinion: Haleh, Matron Protectorate should get banned from the Twist format. She is the ONLY dragon available for Drakefire Amulet to discover, and with all the mana cheating (Incanter's Flow, Hot Streak, etc) and survivability (Solid Alibi) mages have, this is a ridiculously consistent win condition.

It's a problematic solution, since then Drakefire Amulet does nothing. I don't know what else to suggest.

Bard is often considered one of the worst Champs in LOR

And that reputation is in some respects well deserved and others not so much

Pros:

He levels easily

Cons:

Leveling doesn't really help you win games

So logically the best Bard decks are decks that can essentially win on their own and Bard is just a supporting piece along for the ride

Obvious synergies with cards like Siren song will be ignored we don't want to be that sweaty 

So what else we got?

Well Demacia basically

Using 6 mana cythtia to buff our full board of junk we don't care about and swing to place chimes deal dmg etc

And single combats allow us to "cash out" on our over stated units

Honestly Bard is probably fine for what he is

He doesn't win games he just gives you a little numbers boost to your midrange deck and thats all he needs to be

over at the r/customhearthstone subreddit, we're hosting HearthPhone: an event during which several teams collectively design a custom set, with a twist: every team only creates 10 cards, and only gets to see the 10 cards which were designed by the previous team! Does this fancy game of broken telephone sound familiar? It could, because this website featured an article on the previous round!

If you like designing cards with a purpose and don't mind working on a team, you should definitely look at this reddit post, where you can read the rules and register. When registering, you even get to state what classes you would or wouldn't like to design for, and mention if you'd like to team up with another specific designer.

For more examples of HearthPhone, you can check this YouTube video out rounding up the first run of this event. The second event was held on the subreddit, and you can check the results down here in this reddit post. The results are always a veritable mess, but hey, what can one expect after each team has such limited information?

To be fair these ideas are awful

The siren song fix is literally very simple

1 make it 5 mana

2 make it so it doesn't buff xolani

People will say oh no that will slow xolani down significantly

but my response is when did Xolani become the number 1 finisher in every deck ever?

1 drop aggro deck xolani

midrange evelyn deck xolani

bilgewater poro deck? If it could fit xolani and siren song it would trust me

So maybe we just don't let xolani turbo off a card that buffs 1 mana units under the established mana curve?
