What are your favourite cards and what will you be testing day 1 after launch?

I am not a great theorycrafter so personally I will focus on improving what I already have, maybe a Yasuo deck.

And of course some Bilgewater cards will be tested by me, toss mechanic seems cool.

Competition Theme: Archaeological Deck

This week we're taking a leaf out of Rafaam's book this week and messing with our opponent's deck!

• You must create a card which interacts with your opponent's deck in some way
  • Some existing examples include Void Contract, Weasel Tunneler, Bad Luck Albatross, Deathlord, Mischief Maker, King Togwaggle and Gnomeferatu.

Cards which simply force the opponent to draw, like Coldlight Oracle, do not count.

Devizz wants us to mess around with the opponent's deck this week in any way you can think of!

Since I am a school professor, I've decided to create a virus themed game that allows you to remember good habits such as wearing a mask, social distancing and washing your hands. All this, of course, in the form of a dynamic game with a strong strategic component.

I always followed Outof.Cards from its RSS feed.
There's a little thing that bothers me: I'm not a player/follower of Legends of Runeterra and Magic Arena, so I'm forced to "scan" my RSS feed to find articles of Hearthstone.

Sometimes I find myself skipping the whole feed, disappointed because there are no articles that interest me.

A simple solution for this would be having separated feeds for Magi, LoR and Hearthstone, while also keeping the "general" feed.

I know it can be beaten (mainly by shadow isles ... ). I know there's way around it.

Still, why is such a toxic mechanic in the game? Wether it's op or not (I personally think that buffs are the main problem in terms of those decks being op), playing against mass elusives is EXTREMELY boring, anti-fun and generaly just toxic.

Even if you play the perfect counter deck, if they draw the right buffs at the right time, you'll lose,  no matther what you do. I just played a game where my opponent played Solitary monk on 3 and buffed it +9/+9 with triple Take heart on turn 6 after blocking 1 of my attacks. Unless you play instant  removal from Shadow isles (Vengeance, which would still be a stretch on turn 6) or some gimmicky spells like Purify or Noxian Guillotine, there's is no way you ever ever win that game as any decks even if you play and draw perfectly. 

A mechanic LITERALLY based around avoinding any kind of interactions with your opponent should NEVER be a viable part of a card game.

Any thoughts?

Riot has stated that they are looking at potential changes to Ezreal, since he tends to be a very uninteractive finisher. My proposed change to him would be to keep his stats and level one form but change his leveled up text to:

"Nexus Strike: Create a Mystic Shot in hand. Whenever you cast a Spell that isn't Fleeting, create a Fleeting Mystic Shot in hand. It costs 1"

This way, the damage that Ezreal generates from you casting Spells is at Fast Speed instead of burst speed. Also, because the Ezreal player has to spend mana to cast the mystic shots, the win condition is much slower. The mystic shots being able to hit units also makes Ezreal able to be used as a control tool as well as a finisher, which opens up more ways for him to be played. 

Just got the best Arena rewards i've ever had. Thought i'd share. GL HF :)  

I'm finding that tempo is so important in the current meta, unless I have something like Dwarven Sharpshooter for board control, I very rarely use my hero power early in the game.

I climbed to diamond 3 with highlander mage and was about to hit 2 but now im back down to 1 after having 4 demon hunters in a row that I went 1-3 against because the aggro version is very favored against highlander mage. What's a deck that can counter them besides egg warrior?
