When are the card backs going to be updated on the card back gallery? I've been curating the card back page of the HS wiki, and I'm currently waiting on png images of add them to the gallery.

I noticed you at least have access to a png of The Shattering, which is used on the Descent of Dragons page, but even that isn't added yet.

As of today, I have started seeing an Ad at the top of the screen whenever I open a new page. I hope this will not be a regular thing moving forward, I don't want this site to be infested with ads. 

This is especially annoying since we have all the DoD cards, and all of the decks above the news and threads, so there is a sufficient amount of scrolling before I can get to what I want to see. I know this site needs to make money, but I thought we were going to be funded only by the community to avoid having ads.

As many of you i fell in love with this game, surprisingly thou as I was not a big fan of other card games like Hearthstone or Magic. And i love to build decks i had many creative Ideas throughout the first two Trials.

Some Examples:
Clone Decks (Elnuk, Commander Ledros, caustic casks) 
Nexus Killer Decks (ephemeral Legion Grenadier :D, Phantom Prankster with some Magic)
Counter the Meta Decks (Karma and insane Mageseeker Inciters, Freljord Karma)
Control Decks (Anivia clone, survive=grant freljord)
Pursuit of Perfection Decks (overkill with Karma, spell control spawn)
Creep Spawn Decks (Shadow Isles, Heimerdinger)

If you're interested I'll create posts with Strategies, Card lists etc. 
And of course i want to hear from your crazy sick insane decks...

I have no idea what MMR is. There are so many posts about it everywhere - but try finding out what it means!

I reckon it would be good Google juice :)

When discussing Battlegrounds, it would be nice to be able to link to the Battlegrounds versions of cards instead of the regular Hearthstone versions, such that it includes the tier rating instead of mana cost.

I'm not sure what the syntax should be. One option would be to have a separate tag like {bgcard} instead of {card}. A different option would be to have a prefix in the body, such as {card}bg:Alleycat{/card}. I guess the cleanest solution is an attribute, such as {card set="battlegrounds"}Alleycat{/card}, but that would be terrible to type.

A different approach would be to have the post editor look up the card as you're typing and have a way of cycling between versions of the card. Misspelled card names are the #1 reason for me editing my posts, so a way to verify that the right card will be displayed would be great. But this is probably the most work to implement.

With Out of Cards supporting multiple card games, I guess you'll eventually run into overlapping names between games as well. Especially really generic names such as "fireball" might exist in multiple games. So it might be worth thinking of a solution for disambiguation in general and not just in the scope of Battlegrounds.

Finally got to play as a new hero!  It was Elise and she is aMEIzing!  Being able to discover an important minion by far is super useful!  Hurray for Elise and druidism!

Not sure what this does tbh as I'm a little confused as to what "ready your attack" actually means

is there any point in casting twice?

Really struggling at the moment, HS seems to lose connection a lot. I have to restart battle.net and hs to reconnect.

By then, I've usually had two rounds of face smashing and I can't recover :(

We’re excited to unveil Half-Life: Alyx, our flagship VR game, this Thursday at 10am Pacific Time. Can’t wait to share it with all of you!

My mind = blown. After leaks this morning that Half-Life: Alyx was going to be a thing, and ones that looked very reliable, I thought we'd be in the dark until the actual announcement but it looks like Valve went and took charge on it to confirm.

It has been a long time since Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and although this is not likely to be a continuation of the story due to the "Flagship VR" nature of the game, getting to go back into that universe with 2019 tech is going to ROCK.

I don't even know what I want out of it. That oculus sure is going to come in handy though!

What class will you play to level? 

I recently had a lot of fun with a Witch Doctor and then the last days with a monk and the new Set which already drops after the patch. Got all pieces and its insane power increase (from 4 to 6 pieces) and fun to play sort of. Might get boring after a while :) Set is also looking great.

I did some 65 HR with 6xx paragon some ancients and some specific gear for build. Maybe will finally get that 70 HR! Problem is definitely not the dmg I do (with some deaths I clear with 5 mins left) but they tend to one-shot you at some point.

Did anyone here watch the first weekend of the Hearthstone Global Games? I feel like the marketing, prize money, production value, attention given and tournament duration are all way under par for a tournament which could be the largest event in Hearthstone. I would have loved to root for my country all tournament, but now they're already knocked out after 3(!) games. The viewership was very low as well, probably because most people didn't even know it was going on or who were playing in it. What are your opinions on this tournament?

I'm curious to see whether you have the same experience as me so that I can decide whether it's me lucky for the past 7-8 days or it maybe changed for better.

Basically the thing is that I get mostly 60g quests from the new type (play 3 games with x, y or z). And these are quite nice. You can either play them if you enjoy the classes or gift the victory to the opponent while going AFK for example.

What do you think?

I cannot play battlegrounds since yesterday, and I do not know what the problem is. It is stuck on the opponent search screen - photo.

Normal now and Tavern Brawl are just fine, but I have these bad BG cravings... He's someone experiences anything similar?

Hello everyone,

Just lost another Arena game because of disconnect near rope. I find this really frustrating, I even hate when I win this way and I even occasionally concede when I feel I would surely lose if they didn't DC. I wanted to see your opinion on the idea: introducing the timeout timer in case of player disconnecting. 

I played MtG Arena a while ago, and remembered that there was a similar feature when a played is AFK (as I recall you get 3 of them). I really liked it. I thought that it would be great if HS got some kind of DC protection, like at least additional 30 s just in case of DC specifically, once during a game. I don't see any drawbacks to this, as long as afk-ing is excluded, but I might be wrong.
