Hello there,
After using the 80g trading thread a few times, I noticed somethings :
The first observation was that each time I opened that forum thread, I was getting back at page 1 ... and now that there is over 26 pages worth of posting, this may create an obstacle for user to actually use the thread. Secondly, I noticed that some of the latest posts were already a few hours old, implying a slow or low traffic on said thread. In absence of actual data on thread usage, I was left wondering if the first cue wasn't also causing the second?
I'll leave the actual investigation work aside and suggest a friendlier user-experience navigating and re-opening threads. Especially when using the Recent thread links from the main page, it would be great to get to the latest post instead of the 1st one.
Thank you in advance for looking into it

Hi all! My name is JagBone! Welcome to my thread where I post videos about wacky Wild decks and highlights of my plays. I will be uploading 3 videos a week around Fridays and the weekends in the morning. So expect wacky, funny edits and weird moments when I play these fun Wild decks!
I have been playing Hearthstone since 2017. I first started when Un'Goro was just being promoted. I love to play Druid, Warlock and Priest Classes. I love playing Druid the most as I like to play big things and do bombastic stuff. That's why I really love to play combo decks or decks with strong finishers. I play on the America server and I will upload videos once a week during the mornings of weekends.
I mostly play Rank and Casual. For now, I am just uploading videos of my plays in YouTube and yet to do streaming. I'll see how it goes before I go to stream Hearthstone. Anyways, welcome once again and subscribe to my channel if you want to see more wacky and fun Wild Decks!
It's time for Battlegrounds! For today, we will be going off with a Beast comp. Although... at the start I tried to make a Demon comp but ended up with a Beast-Demon hybrid weird comp. Anyway, enjoy!

played it and against it it's disgusting.. seriously mechwarper needs a ban or a nerf "can't cost less than (1)" will do it also for wild balance of course I am not sure why Blizzard didn't do that yet..
top 3 was always one of my fav brawls.. but this time around no, I am not playing it cause of this sn1p sn4p madness there is no counterplay for it.

The cost of embarking is either 400 Riot Coins or 4000 crystals, the equivalent of one champion wildcard. We were made aware at the start by devs that the minimum payout would be a random champion card - so, if your goal is complete colection, entering the expedition is essentially free.
While this is great for players worried about trying the game mode out, the reward I got for 14 wins - a Champion Capsule and 4000 crystals back - is not all that enticing; Sure, you essentially get a free champion capsule, but the probability of that is so low that I feel like it's underwhelming, despite it being among the best pack-equivalents the game has to offer.
So, to sum up, I feel like the mode would be more rewarding if the maximum payout was higher, even if it would necessitate lowering the minimum - tough that might be a hard sell. What do you all think? And also, is the reward capped at 7 wins from one trial, or do they sum up when you get both trials to the highest posible score? (I'm still unclear on that last one)

I am probably missing something big but this is one of the intended archtypes Riot was aiming for, did someone found a good build for this deck?
the strategy is to self damage minions and get braum to level up quickly as well, it lacked late game big time but I didn't found good late game cards to include in the deck.. any suggestion for improvements?
Edit: deck code works now :D

No news either about the legendary quests these days..
Below some shitty comments about Runeterra news, Flux replied there was few news to talk about in HS recently.

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Feel free to move it or whatever if this isn't the place.
Alright, so I have a problem login in on the EU server on my laptop. It gets stuck on the loading screen (tavern doors with the HS logo). Since this has been going on for a week now, and I tried all the possible solutions I could find online, I submitted a ticked on the Blizzard website. There, the only response I got was a link to the troubleshooting page, all of which I tried before to no avail. After that no more responses. So I thought I could maybe ask here for advice?
To summarize:
- I can log in on the America and Asia servers on my laptop;
- I cannot log in on the Europe server on my laptop;
- Other accounts on my laptop can log in on all servers;
- I can log on all servers on my mobile phone and tablet;
Anyone who potentially has a clue on how to fix this? If my phone or tablet were playable, or if I had progress on the other servers, I could've adapted, but alas. Normally I'm quite good at figuring out problems like this, but this time I'm stuck :/
Additional notes, I think the problem started after I updated the OS to Catalina: 10.15.1, although I couldn't find evidence online that this has anything to do with it. The "failed" patch came around that time as well, but since that has since then been fixed, it's probably not that.
Anyone knows when the game goes live again?

As I already stated in the pepper thread, I am still surprised of the low amount of Sn1p-locks between rank 15 and 5. VS blames that on the high skill cap of that deck while also mentioning that it's pretty much unbeatable in the right hands. What also matches my experience are the huge numbers of aluneth mages swarming said ranks. It's a pity that warrior has no really competetive deck right now, when they just got an awesome new hero skin :/ Let's hope for a strong standard deck with the arrival of DoD.
The big surprises for me are Odd Rogue and Evolve Shaman. I can't remember playing against a single Odd Rogue this month, but according to VS it sits right there on top of T1. They go even further with Evolve Shaman, which they don't have enough data for to place it in the regular tier list, but strongly support the claim the deck is T0.
What are your experiences? Do you agree with the provided data and the following conclusions?

Hello there. I’ve played Hearthstone for the past 2 years or so, so I have seen quite a lot and have a pretty good understanding of how the game works. Since the launch of the open beta of Battlegrounds, I’ve played quite a lot of games, so I've gathered some thoughts here to provide as feedback.
First of all, positives:
+The UI is great. Although different from the usual Hearthstone UI, the Battlegrounds one is quite enjoyable too.
+The heroes are pleasing to play as. Save for the fact that it'd always be pretty cool to play as The Lich King or Yogg-Saron, or Ragnaros, they are all thematic, their hero powers fit them quite well.
+The music is thematic as well. Both tracks that play in the Battlegrounds make you feel like you're in a tavern, chatting with a stranger, while waiting for your beer to come. I’d also like to suggest one of my favorite OSTs from WoW, the Kul Tiras Tavern Day 2 track: https://youtu.be/x9jH1UM3IbA
Now, negatives:
-The turn time is not enough, especially for mobile. I know this would be hard to balance, as if there was more time, it would get boring and tedious because of the waiting, but neither is it okay to have 20 seconds at Bob's Tavern sometimes. What I'd suggest would be to shorten the animation times, or add the option to.
-There are not so many strategies to adopt. I guess this is harder to fix, as it’d require adding more cards, but I’d quite like to see some new tribes being introduced as cards. It would be interesting to see Dragons with their in-hand synergies and Elementals with theirs and so on.
Now, some nitpicks:
-It’s a little disappointing that there are no voiced emotes. Remember how earlier I said that it’s cool to play as The Lich King or Yogg-Saron, or Ragnaros? You know what would be twice as cooler? Yeah, playing as those same heroes, but with fully voiced emotes. I know it would be hard to have 24 and soon more fully voiced heroes, because of the casting, but it would be a great improvement nevertheless.
-There are no clickables in the background. Sometimes, especially in the early game, you finish your turn quickly. And what is there left for you to do? Nothing. You can’t click on candles in the background to make them explode, you can’t brew potions, you can’t activate traps in ancient temples. It just breaks the whimsical and silly feel of the game.
So, those are my thoughts! I know it's only still beta, but I thought it'd be useful for the developers if I provided some feedback, you never know if they'll read it!
-Good luck

So this season has been the contrary of the last one: I climbed fast from Rank 10 to rank 5 with Tempo Rogue without any important difficulties. I was lucky with Quest Druid (I didn't encounter many of them, and I was lucky in some matches). Now that I achieved my objective, I plan to chill making the dailies, if possible with Pogo Rogue.
What about you?

Hey, folks! So, because I have WAY too much time on my hand, I've decided to see how the Tags in Mythgard (stuff like Valkyries, Vampires, Constructs etc.) are spread out, and I've found some... interesting stuff. A few things before we begin:
Without further ado:
So here's a fun fact: did you know that there are SEVEN Tribes with only ONE minion: Mollusk, Thrall, Dwarf, Elephant, Geomancer, Artist and Shaman. I can only assume Rhino is planning on adding more in the future. (though how many Mollusks can there be?)

It's worth noting that both Eirsdottir and Cataphract are dual Tribe, with their other tribe being FAR more populated.
I've a total of 47 Tribes for this experiments, and most of them share the same number of units (Elves, Heroes and Spiders each have 6 units, for example), but there are 3 that have a lot more units than the others:
In case that pun didn't give it away, the third most populated tribe are the Canines, at 17 units. About 35% of these are also Soldiers, thanks to Green's Volkovs. They are also the only Tribe among the 3 that have tribal synergies.

The second most populated Tribe are the Constructs, with 24 Units. Those are pretty much everything mech, statues that come o life, vehicles and... food... apparently. Most constructs can be found in Yellow, Orange and Purple.

Finally, the most populated Tribe are, surprisingly, the Spirits, at 26 Units. The most are found in Green and Purple, with 34% and 38% respectively. The rest are spread as such: 1 in Blue, 2 in Red, 1 Token in Orange and 2 dual-colours.

There are 3 Colors in the game that have a good number of Tribes exclusive to them. First, there's Red, with 4 Tribes: Vampire, Minotaur, Satyr and Thrall. Of those, only the Vampires have more than 3 Units.

Then, there's Purple, with 5 Tribes: Avatar, Ninja, Outlaw, Geomancer and Artist. Only first 2 of those have more than 2 Unit in their tribe.

And finally there's Orange, who's in a bit of a weird spot. They have 4 Tribes all their own: Zealots, Angels, Jinns and Elephants.

But there's also a 5th tribe that is important to orange, but that it shares with all the other classes: the Centaurs. A.K.A.:

Those are, so far, the only Cantaurs in the whole game, and that, along with the obvious thematic connection, make this a very unique Tribe.
So, there are some cards that don't seem to really belong in their tribes, but that make sense upon further inspection that I want to showcase here. For example:

Why is Grinning Kolobok a Construct? Surely it's a Demon or something similar, right? But if you look up it's myth, you'll find that it's actually a type of sentient food, who was "Constructed" in an oven.
Or those two:

Those are clearly people, how are they Constructs? But if you get into the lore of the game, you'll learn about proxys: human-like constructs that people can control from a distance.
Finally, there's Tyr:

Why is the Norse god and 'Undead'? But if you remember, the game takes place AFTER Ragnarok, and Tyr dies in that battle, so the only way he'd be here is if someone brought him back to life.
Hope you enjoyed this piece I've put together. I'm going to leave you with a table of all the Tribes I've considered for this, along with the number of units in each (each '*' means there's that many tokens in that tribe):
| Spirit | 26 |
| Constuct | 24 |
| Canine | 17 |
| Vampire | 12 |
| Witch | 12 |

I see many pro players post the Evolve Shaman decks they have used to hit legend, or take to tournaments, with Spirit of the Frog. Indeed, one player I respect online posted recently he wonders why anyone doesn't include this card in a Shaman deck.
But is it that great? When I play Evolve Shaman I get bad results if I include Spirit of the Frog. I've had much better luck running a deck with Mana Tide Totem, Nightmare Amalgam and Thing from Below. I just hit rank 1 with this deck and hoping to make it to legend this month.
Has anyone else had this problem? I wonder when I can't succeed with the "best decklist" for a class if I simply have some kind of Hearthstone cognitive block. Or is it really just a matter of personal preference?
Anyway, would love to hear everyone's thoughts. And yes, I've watched streamers use the "best decklist"... I still can't win many games with it.

The first of three proposed expansions for my entry in the Timestream Tracking Year-Competition, The Trials Within Us has been a work in progress since I first began creating custom cards. I was brainstorming "Trial" cards long before they were ever called that lol. Know that this expansion is intended to exist *before* the Year of the Dragon, based on when the Competition took place.

In The Burdens of Shaohao animated video series, Emperor Shaohao gained enlightenment and saved Pandaria from The Great Sundering by overcoming the Sha - manifestations of negative emotions - that burdened his soul and held him back. The Trials Within Us tells nine separate tales of defeating one's personal demons and tackling adversity.
Trials and Tribulations
Each class has a Trial card, a new type of card that plays like a reverse-Quest: you are granted an immediate and lasting benefit, but a heavy Burden is placed upon you. That Burden takes the form of an on-going penalty or a rule you must follow. These Trials reference various events across Warcraft's timeline, including the orcs taking Mannoroth's Blood-curse within themselves and Kael'thas' journey to sate the Blood Elves' addiction to magic.

Trial cards do not cost mana, because they are played automatically at the start of the game. They take up space in your deck initially, but they cannot be drawn or generated and they remove themselves from your deck upon activation, after the mulligan.
A reminder for the Burden takes the form of a purple gem, just like the orange gem for Quests. They have unique names, art, and card text, but they are not something that can be held in your hand like a token.
A Note on Set Rotation
In creating an entire Year, we were tasked to consider rotating certain cards to Wild, much like Blizzard would do come every April. I decided to rotate Divine Favor, Preparation, and Gadgetzan Auctioneer to the Hall of Fame. Divine Favor was a problem at the time (and can easily become one again), while the other two were removed from Standard to force open the Rogue class and eliminate her dependence on them. Preparation has shaped the Rogue class since the game's inception, warping every class card around it, while the Auctioneer would become heavily broken with the Rogue's new means of Coin generation.
Each Class Tells A Story
In addition to their Trial card, each class is also represented by a specific Sha - Hatred, Arrogance, Doubt, etc. - and the archetypes the Trials inspire are reflective of them and what it might require of you as a person to overcome that negative quality. By mastering your personal demons, you can benefit in ways that would have crippled you otherwise.
The Druid
The Druid's Sha is Fear: A dark force seeks to consume the Emerald Dream from within. When a mortal has become corrupted by the Nightmare, there is no return; only death will set them free.

Intended Archetype: "Feral" Mid-Range Druid. Minions clear a path for your hero, using cards like Claw, Bite, and the new additions to buff your hero's attack power and finish off your opponent. Conversely, you can use the double damage to kill enemy minions with your face and leave your board healthy.
Story Legendary - Xavius, Nightmare Lord. The first of the Satyrs, Xavius was a powerful magic user before being transformed by N'Zoth, the Corruptor. Xavius would manipulate his puppet, Fandral Staghelm, into corrupting Teladrassil the World Tree, thereby corrupting the Emerald Dream and Ysera from within.

The Hunter
The Hunter's Sha is Hatred: Her desire for vengeance pushes Alleria beyond the Dark Portal. She will come to know a thousand years of war, in the Twisting Nether.

Intended Archetype: Even Sniper/Inspire Hunter. Paired with Genn Greymane (who would have been in Standard at the time), the Trial gives you a permanent Steamwheedle Sniper effect to help you control the board. It seems Blizzard and I had the same idea, with cards like Dragonbane and Dwarven Sharpshooter that we're getting in Descent of Dragons :P
Story Legendary: Alleria Windrunner. Once the ranger-captain of Silvermoon, Alleria led her rangers on an expedition into the Twisting Nether. Now members of the Army of the Light, from their perspective a thousand years passed before they reappeared on Azeroth for the final battle against the Burning Legion. After absorbing the power of a dark naaru, Alleria became the first of the Void Elves.

The Mage
The Mage's Sha is Gluttony: Dependent on the power of the Sunwell for centuries, the "Blood Elves" are addicted to magic. What lengths will they go to sate their appetite?

Intended Archetype: Deathrattle Burn Mage. Defending yourself with Deathrattle minions while stockpiling fuel; preparation for a turn where you can kill off a bunch of minions and then unload the spells with a Dragon's Breath/Solemn Vigil-like effect. Kael'thas Sunstrider gives you the fuel, and Verdant Sphere gives you the additional punch for lethal.
Story Legendary: Kael'thas Sunstrider. Once the Prince of Quel'Thalas, Kael'thas allied his people with Illidan Stormrage to quell their addiction to magic after the loss of the Sunwell. Kael'thas later betrayed Illidan and joined the Burning Legion, with promises that the demon lord Kil'jaeden would save the Blood Elves from their plight. He would eventually be defeated by the Shattered Sun Offensive.

The Paladin
The Paladin's Sha is Despair: Enslaved by the Iron Horde, their leader lost, her people betrayed; Yrel will take it upon herself to lead the draenei into the Light. One could lose hope walking such a lonely road...

Intended Archetype: 1-vs-Many Control Paladin/Healadin. The Trial states you can only ever have one minion, meaning you must maximize the value gained from every minion played. Healing, defensive spells, and high-Health Taunt walls combine to outlast the opponent's resources, emphasizing the ultimate fantasy expression of the Paladin character (an unstoppable badass fighting evil).
Story Legendary: Yrel, Light of Hope. One of the main protagonists of Warlords of Draenor, Yrel comes from the other version of Azeroth dominated by the Iron Horde. A priestess enslaved by orcs, she would become a formidable fighter alongside the Alliance. After the death of Velen and various betrayals from her own people, Yrel would take it upon herself to become leader of the draenei.

The Priest
The Priest's Sha is Arrogance: "I consume the essence of the weak and foolish," the blade whispers in your mind. "You're not weak...are you?" Only the mad would dare wield such an artifact.

Intended Archetype: Shadow Face Priest, an attempt to kill the enemy with sheer power before you kill yourself. I imagine a constant, dramatic juggling of one's Health total as the Priest heals back the self-inflicted damage...or not, if they choose to go all-in. The ultimate expression of the Shadowform playstyle.
Story Legendary: Xal'atath, (Blade) of the Black Empire. An artifact used by shadow priests, Xal'atath is a sentient weapon that is said to be a claw of N'Zoth, the Corruptor himself. Wielders of the blade must be wary of its whispers, for it speaks of nothing but lies and madness.

The Rogue
The Rogue's Sha is Zeal: The Defias Brotherhood want what they're owed...but ambition will be their undoing. Revolutions demand attention, and that's exactly what they'll get.

Intended Archetype: Coin Combo Rogue. With the loss of Preparation, the Rogue is allowed access to new board control elements that would be otherwise impossible, in the form of Insanity Bomb. The archetype includes new ways to generate Coins and interact with them in various ways. Malygos combined with Coin-Flipper and/or Vengeance can make for a powerful finisher, turning the Coins into Fireballs and the Sinister Strikes into Flame Lances to the face.
Story Legendary: Vanessa VanCleef. The daughter of Edwin VanCleef, and his successor as head of the Defias Brotherhood. While not a super-skilled fighter, she is a master of poisons, especially those that cause hallucinations. After adventurers stormed her stronghold and "killed" her, Vanessa easily escaped, as the adventurers' minds were blinded by her neurotoxins.

The Shaman
The Shaman's Sha is Doubt: Doubt can paralyze the mind and Freeze the body, prior failures haunting one's thoughts like apparitions. How does one escape such a prison?

Intended Archetype: Freeze-Wall Shaman. Because your minions are cheaper, you can play the value game by dropping larger minions before your opponent can. Uniting a defensive force that can provide value without having to attack right away (to get around the Freeze), the ultimate goal is to stall out your opponent until they run out of resources. This includes Taunts, Deathrattles, and auras.
Story Legendary: Aggralan. Thrall's Life-Mate, she was originally tasked with teaching Thrall the traditional shaman ways. She would become a great ally, staying with Thrall while he suffered many trying tasks as leader of the Horde. When an agent of the Twilight Hammer struck Thrall with dark magic, it was Aggralan's power that restored his mind. They have multiple children together.

The Warlock
The Warlock's Sha is Violence: Binding his soul to the Burning Legion, Gul'dan will know power and blood as Darkness Incarnate. The Legion is infinite; their tolerance for failure is not.

Intended Archetype: Token Handlock. Pushing Handlock in a different direction than simply using Mountain Giants or Twilight Drakes. The end result is a wider board, to emphasize the fantasy of the infinite Burning Legion. Kil'jaeden serves as a powerful finisher, destroying all of your other minions in a reckless attempt to end the game.
Story Legendary: Kil'jaeden, Lord of Flame. Second in command of the Burning Legion under the Dark Titan Sargeras, Kil'jaeden's primary purpose was to assimilate other races into the Legion's armies. Creator of the undead Scourge, he commanded the Lich King to overrun the living and weaken their defenses against future Legion invasion.

The Warrior
The Warrior's Sha is Anger: In pursuit of strength, the orcs submit themselves to Mannoroth's Blood-curse. However, rage is a double-edged sword; will the fire consume them as well?

Intended Archetype: Mid-Range Attack Warrior. Focused on chunking the enemy's Health with an army of strong, expendable minions...but not in the traditional Aggro sense. This archetype would double as one that benefits from self-damage, pairing it with cards such as Rotface and Acolyte of Pain. A new spin on Enrage (now that Enrage is gone lel).
Story Legendary: Mannoroth, the Destructor. Leader of the Pit Lords, third in command of the Legion's armies under Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, he would lead the first invasion of Azeroth. Drinking the blood of Mannoroth, the twelve clans of the Draenor orc Horde would eventually succumb to his corruption, turning their skin green and filling them with a seemingly-uncontrollable rage.

I have been saving gold like a mad man so I don't want to waste any of it. I noticed last expansion that after a certain amount of decks were opened I mostly got duplicates.

Hi,
I am Kouf, a french gamer that was fortunate enough to get invited during the last closed beta and I had a blast. This time I would like to share this experience with those who didn't get an invite yet.
I will be streaming the game on twitch, and I would like to invite people to play the game with me.
How? I'll call you on discord, make the deck you want to try, and then simply follow your lead during the game so it will be as if you were playing it, except that I will be the one holding the mouse.
If that sounds like something you want to try, please fill this quick google form to let me know when you could join me, that way I can see how many people would like to join me, and create a schedule ahead of time to make everything easier for everyone involved.
Players from all around the world are welcome to join, but I will only be able to speak with you in English or French.
Cheers guys, and good luck with the drops!
ps : not sure if linking my twitch is allowed so i'll leave that out; i'm just trying it out for the moment to set things up anyway and will most likely be speaking french while i'm getting used to streaming, unless some of you guys come say hello.
