I have decided I will try and finish around rank 300 this month, and the number of times I have lost on turn one with zero possible counterplay is absurd. Every other game is a Shaman ramping into Ancestral Call and putting out King Neptulon or Y'shaarj. Is there any counter to this?? I know I am going against one because no one is playing Freeze Shaman anymore.

I have been considering running Sap because I am playing Mine Rogue but that feels just as high rolly and I would have to give up Cloak of Shadows for it.

Hello there, I'm having this strange problem, and I'm probably just missing something obvious - when I log into LoR now, I'm always in that PvE content, Pathway of Champions or something, and I can't seem to figure out how to get back to the regular version of the game. What am I missing? :P

Just going to list a number of dead archetypes that could return and signal a possitive direction for the game 

1. Fiora Shen - Archetypal midrange pkg that plays for value and challenges and board interaction that no longer has a place in the game. 

2. Swain TF - A healthy and balanced control deck that only goes off on turn 8 and no longer has a place in the meta.

3. YOI - Love it or hate it Tristana is a card that needs to exist in some form and be playable.

4. Viktor Riven - The buffs to Viktor were an amazing possitive development that got killed this expansion

5. Darkness - One for one spell and creature trading control that no longer has a place in this meta (very saj)

6. Vlad Braum - Landmark creep is a thing and a 3 mana landmark granting your units tough and a minor stat buff just ain't it anymore

7. Tahm Kench Soraka - these Champs are so dead they are zombified but it was a unique deck while it lasted.

8. Banerman/Elites - Mono anything just isn't doing well right now unfortunately, and I do crave the simpler times when allegiance was a valid archetype.

9. Kenin - What an awesome card but unfortunately Ionia is massively under represented right now along with bandle city 

10. Zigs Landmark - what a fun card with a fun play pattern, and a fun level up, and fun unique deck building

11. Nami Fizz - Another example of a very high synergy and interesting play pattern deck just dead in the water. 

12. Shivana Fury - pretty interesting short lived archetype where you just make her as big as possible with double Fury triggers till she takes off to the sky

13. Day break - Another high synergy midrange deck that just doesn't cut it anymore because it's too "fair" and "balanced"

14. Kindred control - The idea of running a champ that has conditional removal as opposed to disintegrates guaranteed removal is a joke and thats the problem

15. Renekton Overwhelm - the sands will be stained with their blood, need I say more?

16. Gangplank Sejunai - yeah midrange plunder overstayed it's welcome but it was a unique deck that prioritized leveled Champs and it gets the win in my book 

17 . Discard aggro - I don't care if it's Jinx, Draven, or Sion or Rumble it's a sad day when the 30 discard cards that exist can't be played

18. Nasus Slay - can you imagine going for atrocity lethals in a world where vaporize exists? Yeah me neither.

19. Asol Ramp - ramp decks that don't aim to put 20 stats in board with feel the rush are essentially useless, so why would you ever try to level Asol?

20. TF Cassino - there is an entire collection of cards dedicated to leveling TF and playing slot bot or riptide junior that can not be played in this meta.

There we go 20 decks that are awesome, high synergy, and interesting in LOR 

That will never see play again because they are too fair and balanced.

So when I say that the current meta is not great, I'm referring to the fact that the card pool for brewing is limited to about 5% right now and that's the lowest it's ever been.

I've lived in the Philippines for a long time (though I'm actually American). Long story short, this means I was able to get into the open beta.

If you guys want to ask anything about my experience so far, feel free!

Note - Marvel Snap has been released to Open Beta in the Philippines only, so no beta invite is needed here. Any other country still requires an invitation to the closed beta.

Don't waste your time on that one. It says you have to kill the boss in Darkshores, but he's in Sunken City. No matter how many Pirates you bring to the boss alive. No matter if you skip all the Boons. There is no workaround and we just have to wait until Blizzard fixes it.

Welcome everybody to my latest solo project, my new custom Hearthstone expansion, The Secrets of Volcania. This is a 135-card expansion that takes place on the islands of the Volcania. Volcania is a mysterious volcanic island filled with very unique wildlife, ancient crypts, and a lot of forgotten secrets to uncover. You partake on a journey to Volcania to discover exactly what lies on this volcanic island.

Along the way, you'll come across some things on the island that you won't be quite sure what they are. You're going to have to inspect a little bit further. Inspect is the new mechanic in the set, in which cards with Inspect can be dragged from your hand to your deck to put it on top of your deck and give it an upgrade. Think of it like a cross between Tradeable and Corrupt, though Inspecting doesn't cost any mana.

Let's look at Felspiked Tracker for example.

Felspiked Tracker can be played as simply a 3 mana 3/4 Demon with Taunt, but in its base form, you can also drag it from your hand to the top of your deck to give it the Inspect upgrade. When a card is Inspected, it cannot be Inspected again (with one exception), and its card text will change to say "Inspected" on it. Inspect upgrades are treated as part of the card and not an enchantment, meaning that extra stats will not be lost when Silenced, and the effect will not reset if the card is returned to your hand. Inspect cards have a red eye banner under the mana cost symbol which goes away when the card is Inspected.

Felspiked Tracker is also an example of where Elusive is now keyworded. Elusive is the effect found on cards like Faerie Dragon, now keyworded and all cards that use the effect will be retroactively changed to use Elusive.

Dual-class cards also make a return. There are 10 all-new pairings in the set, which each get a Legendary Quest. You have two different paths to take for each Quest, so the one you choose it up to you.
