With the recent nerf patch, here comes an opportunity for anyone who was around One Night in Karazhan era and claimed at least The Prologue, but havent bought the rest of the adventure yet, to jump on a great deal! If you buy first and second wing to get to Barnes, you can "buy" dust with gold at a premium rate at almost half its normal cost this way (compared to avg dust per pack).
If you want a simple explanation, think about it this way, you pay 1400 gold for a legendary (and a half) of your choice. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Also, if you dont own any part of the adventure yet, the only option to get it is to use real money and buy the entire adventure - and you get an even sweeter deal for it! See calculation below.
Note: You must have reached at least rank 25 in Ranked Play to be able to open the adventure.

1st Wing: The Parlor (620 dust)
- 1x Moroes (400)
- 2x Ivory Knight (40)
- 2x Maelstrom Portal (40)
- 2x Protect the King! (40)
- 2x Silverware Golem (40)
- 2x Arcane Anomaly (10)
- 2x Arcanosmith (10)
- 2x Cloaked Huntress (10)
- 2x Deadly Fork (10)
- 2x Pantry Spider (10)
- 2x [Hearthstone Card (Priest of the Fiest) Not Found] (10)
2nd Wing: The Opera (1940 dust)
- 1x Barnes (1600) <<<
- 2x Arcane Giant (200)
- 2x Moat Lurker (40)
- 2x Onyx Bishop (40)
- 2x Kara Kazham! (10)
- 2x Kindly Grandmother (10)
- 2x Pompous Thespian (10)
- 2x Silvermoon Portal (10)
- 2x Swashburglar (10)
- 2x Wicked Witchdoctor (10)
Calculation
Buy 1st and 2nd wing with gold
- Dust total = 2560
- Cost in gold = 1400
- Avg dust per 100 gold = ~183
- Avg dust per 1 pack (source) = ~100
Buy entire adventure for $20 (equivalent of '15 pack bundle')
- Dust total = 4150 (2950 + 1200)
- Cost in gold = 1500
- Avg dust per 100 gold = ~272
- Avg dust per 1 pack = ~100
And if you decide to keep any of the cards, the dust gain increases that much more. Only downside is, you have to play out the adventure to get the card rewards, but is that really a downside? The adventure is quite good!
edit: After some calculations, if i am right, you can actually get almost three times your money worth of the dust value, if you buy with real money. Damn. Everyone who can should probably buy this lol!

I'm not jumping the gun to craft anything as I'm not desperate for anything in particular. But when I do craft, it will probably be the following just to round off my collection, or give me some fun cards to toy with.
- Frost Lich Jaina
- Tess Greymane
- Undecided, could be any of the following

The Hearthstone Gods decide to bless me with watching someone else for a pack of cards for the daily quest, so yeah, let's take a break and maybe there's something different ...
Friend of mine is using bomb hunter vs. a homebrew control paladin (Lay on Hands seen). I start rooting for the other guy, who rallies back with a buffed Crystalsmith Kangor and has bombtard hunter quit.
Another friend is in hunter vs. hunter and I'm rooting for server crash. Friend somehow loses to secret hunter before he can get his Zul'jin buffed twinspell beast factory up and running. Yawn.
Am I the only one logging in spectator mode and then rooting against the friend? Seriously, do you ever log into a friend's game and then go, "Your deck sucks, I'm rooting for the other guy now."

(Warning! This class is lore-loose, so if something isn't canon don't freak out.)
Dragon Tamers are people that can communicate, befriend and, as you can expect, tame Dragons. Of course, some Dragons (Like Dragon Aspects) are highly intelligent creatures that you can't treat like a pet, however most of them are just animals acting on their instincts. This class has 3 main flavors: tamed Dragons, wild Dragons, and breeding Dragons. Tamed Dragons are mainly used for battle, but also have their uses as guards, observers or transport. Tamers also create tools to immitate Dragons, or protect from them. Wild Dragons are mostly dangerous and are force no mere human can stand against. They have nests and they hunt. Tamers don't tame every Dragon they encounter, they also keep the free ones save and they help them in their time of need.

Prince Mroggus Lore - Prince of Corrupted Dragonflight, one of the last of his people. Selfproclaimed Corrupted Dragonflight was a tribe of creatures who gave up their civilized selfs to N'Zoth, with whom they made a pact. They offered their aid to him in exchange for making them one with the Dragons. Old God agrred and changed their bodies, along with their senses. They were annihilated during Cataclysm, with only few survivors. Prince Mroggus now seeks revenge and wants to rebuild his lost glory.

Hero Power: Due to lack of draw and card generation, I wanted to give this class something to do when it has ran out of resources. (Upgraded HP will come along with TGT)
Basic Set:
Generic card for new players to expirience some Dragon action. |
Tempo card for early game. 3 damage for 1 Mana is pretty big and this card has a very easy activator considering that most cards are Dragons. |
Remember Power Overwhelming? This serves the same purpose but is (I think at least) more balanced. |
Cheap damage (an upgraded Elven Archer). |
A draw that tutors! Mainly for drawing AoE. |
HP and Dragon support. |
Not a complete Immunity but does its job. You want to protect an important card? Here you go. |
Assassinate that does damage. |
Vanilla stated minion. Good for beginners to counter Boulderfist Ogre. |
Big AoE. |
PS: Classic is done but I'm lazy so I'm gonna update it later.

I'm commenting and stuff on Microsoft Edge, haven't tried chrome yet to see if the problem is also there. it's generally a very consistent problem. Mostly have it when i comment, but whenever i edit the comment and re-type everything (And copy the text in case it gets deleted again) it oftenly works correctly again, and posts the entire comment. (But again, sometimes i'm editing the same comment like 10 times and it still doesn't work/deletes everything)
Anyone else having this problem? I just hope i'm not repeating something that's already known.

Hey Guys, i play Hearthstone since Beta and i wanted the opinion from the community on this topic since i cant remember a official statement from blizzard.
Does anybody else feel like if they are about to jump from one rank to another ( rank 3 5 stars , so a win would lift you up a rank f.e.)
you automatically get matched against your worst matchup ? Horrible starthand , etc...
to sum it up - everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong ? including internet breakdown although you are connected to your wlan.
No salt over here just wondering if anybody else feels the same :)

I actually was refining though this week and what I realized is that following 3 cards aren't really good:
Neferset Thrasher - he gave my opponents more lethal then he gave me
Magic Carpet - seems to be just relic of the past and isn't all that good in current meta
Scarab Egg - well those 1/1s are literally not really good not to mention clogging the board.
I actually came up with my own homebrew variant which is somewhat different from lists on hsreplay (by at least 6 cards), I don't claim it to be the most refined, but it is pretty good and carried me to legend. I suppose it has some clanky cards like I'm not so sure about Sea giant, maybe knife juggler would be better in that place, especially now that Mage is getting nerfed. But here is my approach. Any thoughts on best Zoo tech choices?

So I made this expansion a while back, I think it was right before RoS and I was kind of fatigued of the game that moment, which explains why alot of these cards are just WAY OP. But at the same time I didn't entirely make this expansion with an inkling that most of these cards would be reasonable, I wanted to try something with a high power level to shake up a theoretical end-of-year Standard meta and obviously the Wild meta to make things a bit more fun. All the cards fall into the classes three talent tress in some way. Armaments of Azeroth is about each class strutting it's stuff to prove which is more dominant. I'll give brief descriptions of cards I want to highlight here and there.
So some ground rules with this set, each class has a Building, they are straight up, non-interactable, non-destructible, non-targetable cards, after I released the set and thought about it, I realized how absolutely broken these cards are, so hey there's something to learn from. Another thing, each class has is a General, super powerful cards that can turn the tide of the battle. There is one Neutral Building and several Neutral Generals, but a deck can only contain one of either. Meaning there is not possible way to mix and match these Legendary cards. You are either on the defensive, or offensive.
Druid:

So fun things with Druid, Broll draws from the power of all the dead and currently alive minions which allows him to gain a copy of whatever enchantments have been played this game.
Teldrassil has a chance for a "Choose Both" card to be generated since it does count for a beast form.
As you can see in the Druid set one of my mistakes was, unintentionally, punishing a player for not owning a copy of Teldrassil. The player could have the cards that it supports but not the legendary itself, my way of thinking at the time was more along the lines of "save resources until you can get the maximum benefit out them". Also Pulverize was made before Team 5 said that Druid shouldn't have strong single target removal.
Hunter:

With Vareesa Windrunner I thought that Hunter would need a new board clear since Deathstalker Rexxar was rotating out and Unleash the Hounds or Explosive Trap could help the class out a bit. I think most of Hunter's other cards are of course either really OP or just unplayable in typical HS fashion.
Trueshot Lodge was fun, it's a constant value generator, much like every other building in this set, and always keeps your opponent guessing.
Mage:

First off, yes, Nessy is pretty much a mirror of Deathstalker Rexxar with an arguably better Battlecry. Build-a-Bot functions the exact same way as Build-a-Beast. I had this idea of a Gnome mechanic building bots, thought of DK Rexxar and it made sense. It's just as broken as DK Rexxar.
Karazhan is pretty fair I feel, HEAVY RNG of course but you could constantly just get spells that don't help the current situation.
Consuming Flame plays with an idea I wish HS would implement and that's more dead draws/dead cards in hand. A great reward for a high price.
I can easily see Call Canceled actually be printed.
Paladin:

Gathios The Shatterer is a better Obsidian Statue and I feel that it's fair considering it's a legendary.
Hand-buff Paladin never works right? Maybe Sanctum of Light can fix that, or maybe it'll give you 400 hundred more dust to craft a better card.
I'm pretty sure Platoon Sergeant exists already in another set but I can't exactly remember which one.
Priest:

Alonsus Faol was designed just to be a better, class specific version of Reno Jackson.
I always enjoyed the idea of Priests using your own cards against you, I use Archbishop Benedictus in every Wild Priest deck I make because it's just simply fun. So I wanted to make a card that appealed to that style of gameplay.
I have no idea where I was going with Writings of the End.
Shadow Word: Void, because it was needed.
Rogue:

Arantir the Tea Drinker is pretty much a high-roll Legendary and I felt that it fit well with Rogues.
Hall of Shadows is just more Thief-Rogue shenanigans.
Poison the well is Probably the most unfair, unfun, broken card in the Rogue set. But hey, it beats combo.
I have no idea what I was trying to accomplish with Hostage Taker. I kind of have a clue but 5 lines of text isn't enough.
Shaman:

I think Muln Earthfury most likely will fit into a niche deck or just be a drop that sees benefits if it survives long enough on board.
The Maelstrom is OP (what isn't in this set?) because I mean hell, it takes away the drawback of overload cards. At the same time it makes Shamans use their resources more liberally so they might tun out of cards in hand before they steam-roll their opponent.
Thundercaller will overload you if you don't have The Maelstrom.
Aftershock definitely only needs to target minions.
Warlock:

Blidross Nullvoid, I don't even know where to start with this. It was a fun idea. The Warlock general showing up, summoning a portal that brought forth beasts is what I thought when I made him. But it's broken as hell, but I still love it.
Dreadscar Rift can be really weak depending on what's in standard, and in Wild the chances of getting what you want is extremely low.
Corrosive Blast is to deal with that pesky Warrior armor, and now the Linecracker Druid in Wild.
Cursed Demon is strong as a Battlecry, hell it's even strong as a random summon.
Warrior:

Broxigar Saurfang is the true highlander, your deck cannot have duplicate at the start of the game and cannot have duplicates from cards like Dead Man's Hand.
Skyhold can create that famous taunt wall every Warrior dreams of with the formidable minions it generates. Sweeping Strike is Flamestrike for Warrior.
Banner Carrier can be dangerous if in opening hand or drawn on curve.
Neutral:

Gallywix's Pride is the game ender of the set. Similar to Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and a little inspired by Hakkar, the Soulflayer. Just the idea of constant mounting pressure just feels really nice. Also, the typo in the tool tip is from Hearthcards, it bothers me too.
Sylvanas, seems I made a better version of Plague of Death, cool.
Anduin is probably best with Deathrattle minions.
Apparently I still need to make the neutral rares and commons for the set.
This is my first set and I had fun making it, if you draw any inspiration from any of the cards, please use it.
I would have waited for OoC to build their custom card/set functions on the site but I wanted to get it out there.
Thanks for reading and most likely, leaving feedback talking about how all over the place the power level is.

Regarding this matter, I want to know your opinion on the possibility of future buffs of quests or maybe they will be buffed indirectly by adding some support cards? If there was some feedback from game devs on this topic feel free to share it, I might have missed it :)

Anyfin Paladin
I just love this deck. Hear me out. Something which started as one of the first Control decks with Combo finishers is now by definition Aggro Combo deck with Control tools. The closest deck to this definiton was something Combo Control like prenerfed Patron Warrior. And the flavour is pretty neat too and summarizes Blizzards Paladin class identity pretty well. It has hordes of Murlocs,2 Giants, High Priest and Sunkeeper Tarim with DK Uther or Holy Ragnaros sprinkled on top.

Reno decks
I know I know. Pretty generic inclusion but I still love the singleton decks. Because how they play out. Each game feels different and it has one of my most favourite legendaries attached to them from design and unque flavour perspective. You name it. Zephrys truly is great,Reno is amazing and something like Kazakus which literally lets you build your own spell are all amazing effects.

Singleplayerwock
In 10% works every time. Hah. Seriously though. The abbility to just pull out the complete lockdown of your opponents cards, board and damage is extremely satisfying. Im glad those types of decks are not meta picks xD

Odd Rogue
It might surprise someone. Such an Odd inclusion indeed. However I always enjoyed Tempo Rogue playstyle since the beggining and Odd Rogue is pure perfection of a Tempo Deck. You make use of your mana every turn. You punish your opponent for playing badly consistently and you have some buffs, heals, pressuring force etc. Really enjoyable deck if you like to play tempo decks.

Why isn't Zilliax being looked at for a nerf?
I think Hall of Fame was previously created because, among other things, Ragnaros was in nearly every deck, and it "limited design space." Then, they clarified that they only want to do that for Classic cards, not expansion cards.
Zilliax is in every deck, ever. Decks that don't run any mechs still run Zilliax for some heal.
I'm not arguing whether it is OP or not OP, but it's absolutely ubiquitous. Seems problematic when every deck is 29 cards now.

Just saw this amazing video on youtube and I think this is definitely something people in the Hearthstone community and the devs themselves need to see. Other than getting a good laugh out of it, it actually brings up a lot of good points as well:
Don't get me wrong, I love Hearthstone (otherwise I wouldn't spend so much time on a website like this), but this video really made me realize how much can easily be improved with very little effort if the devs would be willing. Maybe if they see this video they might get the idea to at least do something? Probably not, but one can dream.
Edit: I used 'devs' for lack of a better word (if anyone knows one please say so :p) but I don't only mean the game developers, since they don't have control over everything, but also the people responsible for things like the economic part of the game.

So I'd like to have a discussion, according to your experience, about how you feel the meta has shaped or is still shaping, whether you think there are some critical decks now that might warp the meta or if everything will settle to Wild balance, eventually.
I bet we have all faced Secret Mages, and their unprecedented ability to deal both burn and board damage, while Even Shamans had their totemic synergy improved.
Many players started experimenting again with Highlander decks, while many others decided to complete the new Quests in Wild. Including at high ranks.
But what is the real powerlevel of all these new experimentations in the meta? Are Quests and Highlanders going to survive the meta? Is Secret Mage bound to be a meta tyrant?
What is your Wild Ranked experience after SoU?

Hi everyone! I wasn’t a forum dweller until I ran across the glorious salt thread on Hearthpwn. I know, I know - Hearthstone is a cool game, but the level of RNG and the nature of card games in general can often be a source of frustration, so I needed a place where I could unleash my inner Kripp.
But gradually I started browsing other threads, look for cool deck ideas and even started sharing some ideas of my own. That was until Hearthpwn announced the great shut down. I stopped reading forum threads one week before the supposed closing date as the activity was dwindling.
And what do I accidentally find out a week ago after logging in to Hearthpwn for the first time in months? That it still works! Yay... ? Well, actually no. Judging by activity there and here, I see that the forum community in Hearthstone fell apart. What was the point of this maneuver by Hearthpwn? It was really weird because as I understood, outofcards was supposed to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, but now we have two forums with low activity.
Am I the only one who feels it’s odd?
Imagine Lord of the Rings ending. Frodo (Hearthpwn) looks at Sam (us) and delivers a most heartbreaking good-bye. But like 10 minutes after boarding the ship, he comes down and says, ‘Nah, I’ll stay. But will live in the basement from now on.’
Not cool, Frodo!

Hi, all.
I'm creating this thread, in order to start a discussion about Quest Jade Shaman. I browsed through hsreplay, tempostorm and our beloved site, but I didn't see any posts regarding it. I feel like it doesn't attract the attention it deserves, so I came here to showcase it.
Based on my experience so far, I can safely say that this archtype is a sleeper and will become extremely popular some day. There is something extremely broken in doubling the jade and lackey generation, that I can't quite put my finger on it. I have been playing a lot of games with this deck-type (I've started from rank 6) and I've managed to reach Legend. My decklist looks like so:
Despite my success, I don't really recommend you to ladder with this version, because it gets countered by the infamous Burn Mage. Even though I run some tech cards (1x Eater of Secrets, 2x Antique Healbots), it still loses badly, if the mage has a godlike starting hand. But other than that, the deck has the potential to beat the rest of the competition.
Versus Control
You just win, because the opponents can't deal with the evergrowing jades.
Versus Combo
The MVPs are:

Versus Aggro and Mid-Range
Now, since the deck has a fairly weak early-game, aggro players can easily obtain the upper hand and beat us. But those MUs are still winnable. The MVPs are:

Plague of Murlocs is extremely useful against Big Priests.
Alternative Builds
When I started playing with my Thief Priest in the first few days of the expansion, I stumbled upon 3 different quest jade shamen on the ladder. I've noticed, that my opponents ran some mid- or late-game defensive tools - Omega Mind, Lightning Storm, Hex, Hagatha's Scheme, Walking Fountain, Siamat, Earthquake. So they've decided to take a more control-ish approach for their decks. Imho those cards aren't bad per se, in a more minion-heavy meta they could prove to be useful. But as long as Burn Mage stays dominant, this won't be the case. You don't have time to play any of those cards right now and your spells would easily get cancelled by Counterspell. Your deck needs to consist of cheaper things.
Speaking of which, some of those builds also ran the typical lackey package we see in standard (including EVIL Totem and Weaponized Wasp). I have tried the latter cards myself, but I don't really feel like those are all that useful. I always have the feeling, that EVIL Totem is just a 2-health taunt, which can be easily dealt with. And it doesn't speed the quest completion process that much. The wasp could be useful, but if you are facing loads of swarm decks like Odd Pala or sticky minions, the 3 damage doesn't really matter imho and it can make your Shudderwock worse. You would be better off running Maelstrom Portal instead.
I tested the Mogu Fleshshaper-Evolve combo, but I'm not really impressed by it. For me it's too inconsistent. Although Jade Shaman utilizes a lot of understatted battlecry minions and adding evolve spells in the deck could be good on theory, I personally think that those high-roll turns aren't needed.
That's all from me. What are your thoughts on this archtype? Have you tried it yourself? What builds did you use and how far did you go on the ladder?

In case some of you missed it. We now know of the nerfs that are coming soon
And in it, two of the buffs that were applied were reverted; Extra Arms and Galaxy.
As such it made me look back at the buffs that Blizzard did with Rise of the Mechs. I had been saying for years that I never wanted cards to be buffed. When the buffs came I hoped that I was wrong (I was about rotations).
Now, looking back: I'm fearing that I wasn't wrong. Again looking at the buffs:
Gloop Sprayer to (7) Mana. (Down from 8): While it was experimented on, it seems to have fallen into meme territory at best.
Mulchmuncher to (9) Mana. (Down from 10): Not even a meme, even after the buff.
Necromechanic to (4) Mana. (Down from 5): Hunter played with it a bit in mech hunter, but that deck doesn't even use the card anymore.
Flark's Boom-Zooka to (7) Mana. (Down from 8): No
Unexpected Results to (3) Mana. (Down from 4): Still not used in any mage deck
Luna's Pocket Galaxy to (5) Mana. (Down from 7): Had to be reversed due to overpowering the meta
Crystology to (1) Mana. (Down from 2): The card is broken at 2 mana and the decks that use it used it at 2 mana as well as 1, so it's not really taking a bad card and improving it. If Paladin ever finds a deck to grab a top tier spot on, this may get nerfed.
Glowstone Technician to (5) Mana. (Down from 6): I think it's a neat card, but I still miss Troggzor the Earthinator. Consider "I like it" to be a sign of failure.
Extra Arms to (2) Mana. (Down from 3): Had to be reversed
Cloning Device to (1) Mana. (Down from 2): Not currently used anywhere
Pogo-Hopper to (1) Mana. (Down from 2): It did get some play early on, but eventually fell to meme territory
Violet Haze to (2) Mana. (Down from 3): Still unused
The Storm Bringer to (6) Mana. (Down from 7): I like it. The world deems it meme.
Thunderhead to 3/6 (Up from 3/5): The one Shining spot as shaman found a use for him recently. So we did well here.
Spirit Bomb to (1) Mana. (Down from 2): Still not used
Dr. Morrigan to (6) Mana. (Down from 8): Very laughable
Security Rover to 2/6 stats. (Up from 2/5) & Beryllium Nullifier to 4/8 stats. (Up from 3/8): I put them together as they share a similar fate: They are both never put into a deck, but are loved when found via other effects. But they already had that effect beforehand. And they ended up bolstering a deck that then needed to be nerfed.
So we have:
1 card that actually improved in standing with the buff,
2 cards who weren't trash before the buffs bolstering a deck that needed to be nerfed later
1 card that wasn't trash before and is used as much today and may need a nerf later
3 cards that were played with then dumped into meme status
2 cards that broke the game and had to be reversed
and 9 cards that remained just as trash as before.
For hype and making keeping us engaged with the game, it did a great job. But we only really have 3 cards that actually got into the meta in some form and 2 of them for the worse. Meanwhile it took 3 cards that were already existent in some form and made 1 into a potential big problem and 2 to help support another deck that needed nerfing.
I'm not sure all of that was worth giving Shaman a more reliable aggro deck.
Note that I'm biased as I already felt that buffing wasn't a great idea, so I do run the risk of confirmation bias. So I ask the community to weigh in. Whether you worried over the buffs or spent the past few years yelling at me about why we should be doing it, how has the changes effected you. Note to not think about how it felt right when it was happening since that's just the hype of 'something new'.
I mean right now, look at the list of cards, look at what you play and what you fight against, and think about how the buffs effected you, good and bad. After that, the question: were the buffs a good idea?
Spending gold on wings to obtain Barnes?
Guys, how do you think? Is it worth to spend 1400 gold on first two wings so that I can get [card]Barnes[/card] and disenchant it next week? Sounds like a deal because 1600 dust is worth more than 1400 gold. But then I get to keep all the …

One of the reasons the class has traditionally gravitated toward aggression is because of the hero power. What if Blizzard introduced a mechanic that changes your hero power at the start of the game?
We already have cards that upgrade or change your hero power, and we have quite a few.
What I am thinking is a mechanic similar to Genn or Baku, where if you have X it changes your hero power. For example, a new rogue legendary could have a mechanic that triggers at the start of the game. I know a lot of people despise those cards and how they shaped decks, but those were neutrals. The new hero power could involve some beast synergy or something.

Are there any plans to add a “latest comments” section on the home page? It’s one of the only things I feel is missing from the home page, and I think it would be good to bring attention to new comments posted on different pages (cards, decks, guides etc.) to encourage discussion on those pages.
Just a thought. I know hearthpwn had this feature, and I always enjoyed seeing what random pages of cards/decks people were having discussions on, and joining in.
Making Highlander Paladin Work
So I was inspired by Kibler playing his own Highlander Paladin, and decided to put my own spin on it: [deck]7006[/deck] Anyone else having any success with this archetype?
