Personally, I'd have preferred Contract Conjurer to go to rogue instead of mage. Some numbers would have to change, sure, due to rogue secrets costing 2 mana.
It's basically a slightly different Kabal Crystal Runner, which for a mini-set card, feels like an afterthought
Excess coins wasn't an issue at launch coz the Devs didn't realize how quickly players would be accumulating excess coins. So at launch, it wasn't even thought of as an issue
First match I queued into was speedstone, much to my surprise as I didn't notice the Noz trigger at the start of the game. Forgot how it really increases the pressure of the match.
I'll say it again this time and every other time a Heroic Brawliseum comes round: This is the worst TB for the average player. You will loose your gold most times and Blizzard are such snakes, they'll intentionally have this brawl a few weeks before the mini-set in the hopes that players not in the know will waste their gold and won't be able to afford the mini-set.
This predatory brawl is on the same level as runestones and the BG battle pass.
Literally only 0.2% of the player base will make a profit from the brawl.
Just a fun little forum post where we can chat about those useless Achievement points everyone has in their journal these days.
I'm currently sitting on 22035 achievement points, which I'd assume is around the average as all my achievement sections are sitting around 50 - 60% completion.
Lets see who has the highest number and the bragging rights on OoC!
Hmmmm, but the question remains if the golden Buddie will be the best reward in every scenario. And if the average player were to get Partner if Crime, they'd have to tab out of game to google if the buddie is even that good for the hero they playing. Maybe ppl will just pick it regardless of the above coz it's such a rare quest.
While I'm happy with all the nerfs, I do feel Blizzard could've added 1 or 2 additional targets, or better yet, they should've buffed Demolition Renovator coz locations are just too OP 😅
So the Kael'thas Sinstrider nerf actually makes a lot of sense and one we should've seen coming considering the only combo he was used for. I have a feel seeing this nerf to Kael'thas also indirectly nerfs Theotar, the Mad Duke coz less classes will be running Denathrius now. Yes, Theotar can disrupt other combos but he will make less of an impact now coz lets be honest, Denathrius was the only card really worth taking with Theotar.
I'll attempt the questline, not because of the rewards, coz cosmetics mean nothing to me anymore in HS due to the overload there is now. There's always some weekly quests that are incredibly easy to complete in BG (I've got the "Deal 200 damage to enemy heroes." quest atm)
And it's always cool to dabble with the new updates, finding the quests must more fun compared to the buddies
That's telling in itself that Team 5 don't playtest the achievement hunting if you're glad to que into bots. Ofc it's a separate discussion completely unrelated to this but with each expansion I always ask myself: "How does Blizzard think some of these achievements will be fun to complete?"
I'd say the puns are the best thing to come out of this mini-set

Guess I don't play this mode enough to feel this pain of "excess coins"
All Fel breaks loose gives me hope for big demon DH... oh wait, what year are we in again?
Oops, removed my upvote for the sake of consistency
Trying out the Big Paladin list above. Feels so good dropping a 3 mana Raid Boss Onyxia and winning from there
What?! Wait! No! Don't go Dean! 😱😱😱😭😭😭💔💔💔
You were the best person left in the HS team... (uhm I'm not forgetting Cora 😅)
Wishing you all the best on your new career Dean, and yes, card gamers rule!
I'll pass thanks 🙃 I know my skill level will result in me loosing gold, regardless of what deck I pick 😅

Gotta go fast!

Oh well done mate! That's legendary dedication 😜
I just made it at 51% 😅 which sounds about right.

I'm really glad they removed Party Replacement, coz I've lost to that passive in the early game so many times... good riddance...
I actually like a lot of these nerfs, keen to try duels again!

Take it you're a coffee person then? 😅
