I have a sneaking suspicious that there's not gonna be a Hallow's End event this year, with the "bigger than normal" expansion being the excuse as to why it didn't happen.
Hoping I'm wrong coz who doesn't enjoy this event each year?
5 Classes with 50% winrate or over with only a 9.3% gap between Warlock and Warrior (at the time of writing).
Yes, these stats are across all ranks and that's what matters to most players and me 🙃
The meta is much more balanced than it ever was during the entire Year of the Gryphon (worst year of HS imo)
All Blizzard needed to do was tweak hunter to bring the class down to the same level as the rest and Voila! It feels like original HS again! (Aside from the same win cons each game, looking at you Denathrius 👀)
While I definitely agree with your sentiment, I'd probably say the same thing with Throne of the Tides min-set. The overall power level for the last 2 mini-sets feel tame compared to last year's releases. But ofc this is my opinion, I haven't looked at any stats.
Well this statement would be true for every mini-set release, as no mini-set has created a brand new archetype in the past.
What Maw and Disorder has done is raised Paladin from the dumpster (slightly) so it's a fun class to play again. It's also given Hunter more efficient tools to beat everyone else, thus increasing the class' win rate. Expect Hunter to take a hit in the next round of nerfs.
You may be facing the same archetypes, but that doesn't mean your opponents aren't using new cards. To be fair, most classes are only using 1 or 2 new cards, so the chances of seeing those cards in every game is slim.
I didn't document my findings as detailed as you 😜 but here's my summary:
I think I got lucky with some placements on the first turn, coz I had 3 suspects that had "Flower in Hair" as their first clue, but only 1 location had "small flower petals". I investigated each location first as suggested in the article and I swapped around a few suspects that had the same clue. My first accusation was correct as well. Turn 2 came round and I had only 4 fireworks so I reverted the suspects to their same positions as turn 1 thinking they were correct so I didn't bother accusing them at all.
I basically tried to accuse every suspect from left to right, except for the ones where I knew they were correct due to the fireworks intel. Luckily I only needed to investigate 1 suspect to get 3 clues (was Sesselie). Won on turn 7.
Honestly think I got lucky first time round, coz played a 2nd match and only got 2 fireworks on the first turn.
Yea it's fixed now after restarting the client but I had to let the whole client download, was trying to upgrade mercs when there was still assets downloading in the background. Bit annoying but luckily I can play Mercs again now
Not sure if it's mentioned elsewhere but I'm unable to upgrade any of my mercs on mobile. Clicking the upgrade button does nothing. Don't think it's an internet connection issue either.
I've never really liked Thief priest and I pulled The Harvester of Envy recently as well but these 2 new cards actually seem like fun! Might try making a Dragon Thief priest

Or DK's could get something entirely new like how DH's got outcast.
Thanks for letting me know about this coz damn it's hidden and there's no notification to claim, thanks for the heads up!
Hmmm... sounds about right
Knew Secret Reno would work one day! Keen to try this list out, thanks for the share
Have you seen HSReplay recently? 😅

I dunno, I'm not a fan on this TB...

For a second I thought Nicky was Cora from the HS team and thought the universe fell apart 😅

It was actually quiet fun! Got lucky though and managed to get 6 fireworks ending the first turn! Yogg luck for you

If that Murloc Bob uses actual murloc sounds during the shop phase, I'd imagine hearing them would get annoying quite quickly 😅
The artwork looks amazing though, definitely looks like Bob got hexed/polymorphed into a murloc

The courtroom drama is more exciting than the actual decks showcased!
This line right here is absolute gold
Guess I jumped the gun and posted without reading the article 😓
And the first bugs come in with some error preventing me from opening merc packs 🤣🤣🤣
Like c'mon blizzard, this is actually hilarious

Speculation around the tavern whispers of a Death Knight class being introduced in the next expansion.
