I have a feeling that 3/2 zombie tokens will be Shaman's theme this expansion. This is 9/6 in stats across 3 bodies if the condition is met but probably won't be good in constructed
For the ultra greedy decks, combo Lorthemar with Brann for triple the stats! Or would it be quadruple? Regardless, it's a neutral legendary so there is bound to be a class and archetype that will love this guy.
Guess it's nice for classes that battle with AOE like Druid. Might be a tech card if there's an aggro/token meta and there's also the Reborn mechanic again where Street Sweeper could clean up the 1 health minions. Probably being too optimistic though and this will only see play through random generation or in arena.
Might be additional stall but I see this more of an arena card than anything else. If aggro runs rampant in the next expansion, this minion may be able to help you but then again, aggro can kill you by turn 6 anyway if you're not running Renathal.
Not sure what Shaman archetype will use this spell. Ofc there's the Multicaster benefit but you can't build your who deck around that minion. I'm assuming there will be more Shaman zombie related synergies though so I'm remaining fairly optimistic till we get the rest of the Shaman cards.
Nice stall minion later on in the game but I don't know which class will want to use this neutral. I'm assuming the Manathirst mechanic doesn't trigger if you randomly summon from evolve or other effects. If it does, then there will be plenty of funny moments getting a crazy 3 drop.
I'm going to compare this card to Barricade coz I don't think anyone will be playing this as a Thorngrowth Sentries. Ofc the requirements to match Barricade's effect are vastly different but tbh, I'd still use Barricade over this spell coz it only really gets decent after turn 6.
Wow, 3 mechanics on one card (we're still calling it Elusive even if Blizzard doesn't want to), yet this won't see play in constructed. Kinda surprising how high the power level has risen coz if this minion was released back in say Witchwood, it'd be good.
Decent corpse generator, especially when turning your opponent's minions into corpses. This could fit into a low minion type of control DK where you just want to run a few big minions but still rely on corpses. Could even slot into a 2x Unholy + 1x Blood combo deck for extra corpse generation.
If this card was released a couple years ago, it'd be broken. But now we have the likes of Raid Boss Onyxia which funny enough counters this card exactly. Sure, you'll get the corpses back when the footmen die but this isn't gonna win you the game, it's just fair stall.
This minion can get really annoying if you can manage to pay the heath cost. With all the lifesteal cards, it does seem playable and there's not much silence or transform effects in Standard atm so this guy can be great stall value.
I'd recon that with all the lifesteal and stalling blood DK got, this minion should see play and it'll be quite devastating when it hits the board. Definitely a great control card when compared to Twisting Nether.
This is going to be one hell of an oppressive card to the point where I'd make a bold predication saying Alexandros Mograine will make Denathrius too slow to play. You could even make any aggro blood DK and have this legendary to finish off your opponent... slowly. While it will probably see play in control decks, I'd say this legendary would be even better in anti control decks.
Agreed! While I do appreciate team 5 changing up their reveal schedule to group cards to show whole synergistic packages etc, it is still a lot of cards to keep up with
This undead condition should be fairly easy to meet considering all the rush minions and the unholy archetype will need some extra value. Also the discover card pool will be relatively strong

Yes we did miss the castle nathria tavern crawl but least it's back now this expansion!

Decent sticky token/corpse/infuse generation but I'm sure there will be better things to add to your deck.

Ok these cards have caught my attention. The 1 and 2 x blood rune cards from earlier were quite lackluster, but now my interest has peaked

We should take a moment to appreciate the irony of Arthas posting these cards for discussion.
Thank you Arthas bot ❤️
Ahem... Long live the scourge!
This is 3/9 in stats across 3 bodies in 1 card for just 4 mana. That's nuts. Unholy also have access to 2 board wide buffs so this minion is great
