Quote From frosthearth That is an impressive achievement, but I don't understand the long-term competitive appeal of this game mode at all. Do players plan to do this with the same decks every month? I doubt the meta will change without any changes to the card pool.
I can only speak for myself, but I …
If you're looking for something more mature in terms of trailer, check out this video for Silverquill made by the Command Zone. I think Josh and Jimmy really outdid themselves -- it made me excited about the new set! There will be one for each Strixhaven school.
First, thanks to Flux for publishing this -- I doubt official Blizzard sources would have been as comprehensive.
Second, could you change the photo on the article preview? Having Zalae smiling with his arms raised triumphantly is a bit tone-deaf, IMO. Maybe just use a generic HS Grandmasters/esports header instead?
You have a few typos in the paragraph after the Blizzard quote:
[quote from="Author"]So we now have official confirmation that, not only are the events of Hearthstone stets in their own version of the WoW universe, but this universe also has an official timeline the developers are keeping in mind as they further the Hearthstone …
I didn't know about JustSaiyan. I'm sad to see him leave -- his playoff matches last season were some of the most memorable Hearthstone games to me.
Will the daily schedule remain the same? APAC at 2 a.m. (Pacific), Europe approximately 7 hours later and Americas 7 hours after that?
I was able to climb 3 ranks (from Diamond 5 to Diamond 2) in about an hour with my version of the secret paladin.
Here are the changes from the list in the article:
- -1 [card]Conviction (Rank 1)[/card]
- -2 [card]Goody Two-Shields[/card]
- -2 [card]Voracious Reader[/card] -- an interesting idea, but I'm a bit afraid they'll draw …
I've been playing VERY casually since late beta. About a year in, I set myself three goals:
1) Get 500 wins with all classes (finally got that last summer with rogue. I've now amended it to 1000 wins, with paladin and shaman already there)
2) Get legend rank (the progression revamp really helped me there, and I got …
Overcosted by a LOT for a deck that probably doesn't care too much about its minions.
Regis Killbin found another interesting home for this card: Poison Rogue, since all the poisons are Nature spells.
Usually you want to trigger frenzy with the least amount of damage possible, but not with this guy, so that probably excludes it from warrior -- you don't want to bring them back with Saurfang!
Thank god [card]Rally[/card] can't bring this back.
[card]Eviscerate[/card] with upside, what's not to like!
The bane of token decks for the next 2 years.
Because of frenzy, the battlecry might be a downside as much as a benefit.
The big Frenzy card for warriors. I expect to see many games where these get resurrected by Saurfang, and there's 3 or 4 [card]Whirlwind[/card]s that get triggered.
[card]Self-Sharpening Sword[/card] -- heck, even the new [card]Assassin's Blade[/card] -- seem to be a better bases for poisons than this.
Interesting little references to Mean Streets in this set: Kazakus and the Kabal, and handbuffing.
Decent effect, and I love the art.
This is THE meme card of the set.
All the Caravans suffer from the same problem: not enough health to ensure they will stick around, and triggering at the start of turn.
