I'm pretty sure this should be considered an exploit, as in if something is considered an unintended behaviour, and you find it, you're supposed to report it and stop using it, otherwise you might get banned, that's how it usually is written in ToS and that's what happened to people in other blizz games
erm, you said you don't spend gold during expansion and only at the beginning
and you said that you have 3,5k gold at lvl 45....
I'm at level 45 as well without spending any gold since the expansion hit, and I spent all of it on DMF packs and I'm at 6k gold
so where did your gold go?
also once you hit lvl 50, which should be really soon, you still should have around 2months to gain gold, for me its clear I will get MUCH more gold this time around than the last time
yes, it's called regression testing, everyone does that, I'm sure they do either

there are always things that will slip through and will show up only on prod environments

what I think happens here is that because they committed to a hard deadline, announced last week, and they had to schedule release with mobiles as well, they knew about these bugs but decided to release anyway and fix those known bugs in a hotfix
it's not a perfect scenario, but after working for over a decade in software industry gaming and non-gaming, everyone goes through the same problems unfortunately
in my case I went to my rewards track and I had something like 7000/3000 next to my level and I had to play one game for that exp to get added to my total xp and for the game to calculate my level
Yep, like Alleria has said, I used to be able to see my total wins since the beginning of hearthstone for arena and separately for other play modes(I believe the play counter also included tavern brawl wins)
but now for some reason they decided to remove this which I don't understand at all why

where are my total arena wins? where are my total ranked wins(I cba to open a calculator and add all my wins from different classes, please don't suggest)?
yep, and even if it doesn't show(in arena for example, i think it's bugged and it doesn't display XP gains after each game) it still gives you the exp, i specifically checked
so as it's not mentioned in the patch notes, I'm guessing they still haven't updated to new Unity version and the S-pen bug on Samsung devices is still present :(
the new game mode in the year of the phoenix was the Duels
and the new new game mode is the Mercenaries
I don't think they count HS Classic as a new game mode, as that's just a Format for constructed mode

I can't understand who's decision it was to take them away
people who play arena that have 10k+ wins all of a sudden can only see the last highest win, like wtf, ofc it's gonna be 12

if the minion clears the board and doesn't die in the process, will it still die? or stay on board?

well, from 50 packs you should get on average 2-3 legs and 5+ epics, and ofc all commons and rares,
and the dust from duplicates should be enough to craft all the cards you might need and have still missing

fortunately you just need to restart the game and its fine

historically speaking when they fucked up big time, each time they compensated everyone

yeah, I was a little surprised they didnt mention how much faster it will be with tavern pass, I'd assume probably 1-3 weeks faster to get to 50
because, as it has always been, there is only one way to get a golden animated coin and that is to have a full golden deck

none of the other blizz games achievements give any rewards, they are just points for bragging rights
I would assume, especially that they havent specifically announced anything, that it will be the same case for HS
at least Convincing Infiltrator is almost out of standard, can't wait to never see this card again in standard
