Making such a massive change, bigger deck and health, would likely destroy aggro decks as a playstyle. Destroying fundamental gameplay is not a good idea.
The notes say to make your way through all the Alterac Valley Bounties to prepare, so it looks like to complete the Tasks need to finish the all the PvE content.
I personally value gold less than dust, since gold can only randomly give me cards while dust directly gives me cards. I value gold at 100 gold equals 80 dust, hence where I value Smite as a worth 2k gold. Over time, packs may give 100 dust, but most of the time I just get 40 dust, but I do get decent packs once in a while so I compromised with 80.
I got the survey about this board and the only thing I considered buying was the battle pass for Merc mode. I do think it is a good idea to try to get more money with lower priced items.
You can afk farm xp by playing mercs, so you just do an attack wait 15 minutes then do another attack and you collect xp while waiting those 15 minutes. It boring so I don't recommend it but it is a way to farm xp if you want to.
I am glad for the guides. These achievements are harder to get than other expansions so nice to have help getting them done. Past expansions were like just throw certain cards in decks but this one requires specific decks for most achievements
I got Gankster one with a hunter secret deck, that did decently, maybe 45% win rate.
The Hippo one is decent just slowly get it over maybe 50 games, just throw two in achievement decks. There are worse ones, like the Warrior one where you need to do 400 damage with a end of turn spell. The achievement idea is fine just the damage takes too long.
I got my pack on the first attempt when I loaded an extraaccount on one device then did challenge a friend. I had not used it in over a year so you get a free deck, so that is nice.
Merc is either grind or pay to get the best mercs, so like others have said it focuses on fustration in order to get people to spend. I mostly did Merc mode to get achievements and I am nearly done about 70% of those which is my goal. After reaching that, I don't have any goals left for that mode so will likely drop it until something new is added.
Thanks for these guides, especially with the rating to know how to focus on the easier ones. I got my best score ever with 64% of Forged in the Barrens completed. Overall, these achievements seems easier than in other expansions. I got around 40% completed without hardly trying, then had to work to get the other ones.
I confirmed the Mi'da one can be done in practice mode. This is only one I had heard of, besides the ??? ones, that can be done in practice mode.

Whales are going to spend, so nice of Blizzard to give them more ways to spend money.
It is nice to know heroic duels get reset so we can get a free run out of it.
Caria is certainly a good card in this deck but what about a replacement? Perhaps the new DH hero card
They are back, see the Galaxy Fol
Apple and Microsoft hav billions in cash so might as well use it! They usually buy stuff with cash when doing acquisitions.

The mini-sets are some of the best value, you get so many cards just for 2k gold. I think Mr. Smite is worth 2,000 gold by himself.

Easy way to find the cards is searching the collection for the word "REFUND".

Snowball fight!
Correct.
