  • As I said in all my galakrond related card reviews, this package is a sleeper. It might not see play right away, but as soon as rotation hits, every one is going to hate this card. 

    It also reminds me of power of the wild when you play it after quest completion. And this one doesn't need you to complete the quest.

  • Reminds me of cobolt librarian, a zoolock card draw that had a huge impact on the archetype. This card will be the same. In a deck that can dump all its hand in an isntant, additional card draw will be broken.

  • There is one archetype that always comes around super strong after each rotation: zoolock. And they usually do it using basic and classic cards mostly. Now, they are going to have an entire package dedicated to swarming the board that culminates in a cheaper guldan with odd paladin hero power. 

    I pity the fool who believes this to be a weak card. Maybe not this cycle, but next one everyone will call for a nerf.

  • It's so crazy that this does not have overload. the base effect is already good enough. And with shaman having access to lackeys that discover dragons and spells, I can see this card being played with the activation in deck that neither have the card nor dragons (looking at you quest shaman who won't rotate at all next year).

  • I don't this this card is as expensive as people make it out to be. backstab is just to darn cheap, no rogue deck goes without it (except odd rogue). In the dalaram expansion people dismissed lackeys as a funny but weak gymic, and look how they turned out. This will see play, as well as all the rogue galakrond package, mark my words.

  • Exactly as stated before. This is downright a better pilfer. You have more control on the outcome activate all burgle depend cards. other that this, not much more to say.

  • Sprint and auctioneer have been runned before with success. One of the best toghwalge treasures is the wand. Consequently, if more good dragon are released for rogue, then I can potentially see a tier 1 miracle dragon deck.

  • Simple card, simple effect, low cost. But since there are lackeys involved, rogue is going to love the galakrond package. and 1 extra damage can be usefull in trades and surprise lethal.

  • This won't see play for one simple reason: stats. Tomb pillager is a good comparison for this. while it gave one coin t«it was aggressive enough for the two main rogue archetypes: Miracle and tempo. 

    3 coins won't save the card. even if you justify a big edwin, it means you did a weak play the turn before.

  • Like the rest of this forum, I am divided with what to think of this card. On one hand, INFINITE VALUE! On the other hand, silence exists, you won't always draw this a second time, with 5 health it dies easily. But again: INFINITE VALUE! 

    Time will tell, but I will make my miracle dragon deck.

  • By far the best galakrond so far revealed! Rogue has been known for its miracle deck since the dawn of hearthstone. People always dismiss the reaperence of the deck, but the archtype usually only needs 1 more good card to work, which I believe to be this one.

  • This one is simple: if galakrond sees play, then this is a possible shadow word: death replacement. Still a little expensive give priest cheap single target removal.

  • This is anduim deathknight but for midrange deck, not combo decks. Still a 7 mana board clear cannot be that easily dismissed. Stil, the worse of the 3 now released galakronds.

  • I don't think they would ever release this card if mindblast was around. I still think there will be some kind of shenanigan with aucheny soulpriest and prophet velen, but appart from that this can just be used to dump all the random minions you get from the new dragon hero.

  • Such effect for so just 1 mana is insane if used in an aggro deck trying to win by turn 6-7. But those decks don't usually play dragons. Dragons are more midrange/control minions, and in those decks this effect is at the very much "meh".

    If we get an aggressive dragon this will be good when you want to dump minions and stats as early as possible.

  • Calling it right now. Every one will try a big paladin deck only to realize two things: your opponent using the 10 mana first is horrible, and aggro as been killing turn 4 giants for a way long time with just 4-5 mana, imagine what they can do with 10.

    Not gonna be bad, but will also not be that good as it seems.

  • This is crazy good for so many reasons:

    - Obvious apprentice mana cyclone combos that end up with a big boi dragon.

    - Possibility to use questing explorer in your deck, seeing as it is one of the best body/mana draw card.

    - you complete this quest with normal mage plays, no need to change your deck to specifically use the quest.

    - Finally, who else remember rogues doing auctioneer turns ending up in big edwins/spiders/arcane giants? well mage now can do that but with dragons.

     

  • Out of all the dragon explorers so far showed, this is the only one I believe it will see play in high tier decks. This is essentially an azure drake for control decks. even in midrange decks this can be good, due to the high quality of mage dragons (Yes, I know class cards no longer have higher priority in discover, but mage cards still only appear in mage discovers).

     

  • This card is actually better than it looks. Mage already has good dragons to play, so synergy will always will happen. While I don't like the stat distribution (it should have 1 more attack and 1-2 less health), I can't deny that a discover effect with predictable results that can greatly influence the game makes this card one akin zephyr. 

  • All these dragon explorers seem really good in arena, but not so impressive in constructed. Usually discover effect are either used in control decks, or when the outcome is relatively predictable (tracking, shadow visions, primordial glyph). So we either get more dragon synergy for hunter or this will only see play in highlander, especially after rotation.
