I finally have a break from college, even if its for a week, so I went ahead and worked on this and completely finished it! Not fully updated since I have to go over some unpublished cards but this is a bigger reveal with 52 brand new cards!

Sorry for posting this many cards at once, juggling college and this is very hard since I decided to get this over with before I end up delaying it way too much, so here are the updates:

    - Gluttonous Preparations has been removed due to an archetype overhaul, it has been replaced with Void Instigator.

    New Cards:

Worth noting that there's a new update with brand new 15 cards! Mainly filling out some classes who did not have cards posted yet, which are the following:

Now I realize that I also missed Gluttonous Preparations, so there's that too.

(NOTE: This expansion is not based on any existing WoW location. However, the fantasy theme is consistent)

The Dawning Cataclysms - An Overview

It's as it was written, the stars have spoken back to us and have confirmed our suspicions. The Cataclysm approaches and we are not strong enough to combat it, not with our decaying power, our champion has to come, not only for the safety of the town, but of the townspeople too. O constellations of the sky, guide our champion one to the path they belong.

The Dawning Cataclysms covers three different places, the (Unnamed) town, Tomorrow's Rise, a cult awaiting for the cataclysm to come for their invasion to begin, and The Crystal Circle, an association of astrologists and magicians that protect their most sacred treasure, the Violet Rune, away from the cult.

Demon Hunter, Hunter, Warrior, Warlock and Rogue will be part of Tomorrow's Rise. While Druid, Mage, Paladin, Priest and Shaman will join forces with the town and The Crystal Circle.

Every prophecy starts with someone, and the road that lies ahead of them will be defined by those circumstances that suround them. It's what we read of what will come, so be prepared.

This expansion features one new keyword, Prophecy.

When you play a card with Prophecy, it will play like normal, and then a shattered circle will form above your Hero (taking a Secret slot, just like Quests), the card with Prophecy will fill one of the three gaps in it. Cards with Prophecy will replay themselves when you cast your Prophecy, and cards with "Prophecy: X" will add their effects to your current Prophecy, but both fill the circle that will become the road ahead.

For example, you play Carrion Invader, your Prophecy is now 1/3rd complete. If you play another one, 2/3rds, playing another card with Prophecy will finish it and create a Forseen Prophecy in your hand. Their art varies depending on which class used it, based on the flavor of this expansion.

If you've played two Carrion Invaders, and another card with Prophecy, once you play your Forseen Prophecy, it will play all of that in order, if a targettable spell is in there, you can choose targets, as each is cast individually (exception is while it's your opponent's turns). Battlecries and Outcast effects will not trigger with this however, nor will any spells in it count as cast for synergy purposes, however a Prophecy is a spell by itself. Isn't it odd?

All classes will get around 2-3 cards with Prophecy, with a few one or two exceptions that will get one more.

    Conspiracy Under the Cracks

Do you really know what's in this hollow earth? All of its secrets are deep beneath the underground? Those who move up and cause activities? Have you heard about the society living below? All of those are questions they'll ask.

Did you know that the food you eat is alive?

    Was that mountain always there?

Is there a bunch of rats stealing your stuff that you can't find it?

How did that bush move like it had life?

You won't know yet, only I know, hehe...

Conspiracy Under the Cracks is the mini-set for this expansion, featuring 35 brand new cards without favoring any side of battle, legends and rumors are supposed to maintain themselves neutral over the conflict. As mentioned, this tackles conspiracies and urban legends/rumors, putting my own spin on them. You may see a lot of threes in this- I mean trees.

I am simply hoping that the formatting isnt messed up after getting this up and running, hope you guys like it!

...ah fuck I just noticed that the version I submitted has its effect as a Battlecry and not Deathrattle as I intended.

Dammit, I'm gonna lose points in the flavor department.

Alright, listened to feedback and made 3 different versions of Emergency Defenses just to see which version is the best for this. (And ig the other one on my post also counts)
That, and new art for the Captain which I thank Rhap for,

I'll do feedback once I get out of class or tomorrow, I'm somewhat busy with college.

(Still trying to find a better art, it's hard.)

Someone will definitely have to go to the main room to activate the shield mechanisms. Not him though, he's the one piloting.

It's mainly spired by Frozen Buckler, though with a few elements that I still feel that need some refining. It's "Drawn on Dredge" Mechanic means that you need someone to forcefully find it when you most need it without requiring to draw a card since... you have found it on the sinking submarine, what takes so long to push it anyways to save tens of lives? (yours, mainly)

If I can't find better art I'll just use a submarine, probably.

Pretty stronk, a targeted [Hearthstone Card (Freeze Trap) Not Found] if you control a Secret.

That said, if the Secrets Rogue is getting this expansions are worth it, this will definetely be in the meta, and if not, at least in Wild with KnC.

Could also see play in Burgle Rogue considering they can also snatch secrets, but I doubt it. It's not a card you would want to play on turn 2 or 3, its a card that you want to hold until the right moment.

LarryMoments: Pankoctopus looks really weird. I think it would have to be a Choose One card, wouldn't it? That said, I prefer Astral Spiritbreather over Scavenging Tactician. Nice flavor and the effect invites to find a way to exploit it.

Not really, it'd be a fourth option. Like Vulpera Scoundrel.

That said I'm seeing people liking Astral Spiritbreather the most, so I think I'll go with that one.

Iksar: Good card, but a bit tad overdone. Murlocs have more flavor on being Magnetic to Mechs, I'll give you that.

linkblade: Both look pretty great, but Living Forge does have a more unique effect, you don't see Windfury used much nowadays. It does look balanced in retrospect, specially shines on Mech Hunter decks, which did need a little bit more omph.

Hordaki: Go with Mechadrake on this one. Curator does seem a bit forced imo, and highrolly in that regard. Say, wonder if 8 mana would be pushing it too much? Just has 2 more attack and 2 less Health in comparision to Mosh'Ogg Enforcer

Xarkkal:  Stronk, but not dat strong. Looks fine, but the art should be more focused on the Beast instead of 50/50.

Dermonstatic: Love it!! I'm not sure balance is on-point but its a neaty pretty idea. Goes a little nuts in Wild but I think it's fine, it does not really have much place in lategame but it does in Tempo and mid-game.

Wailor: Dragonfang Totem is my favorite, Tides is also great, but I feel you should go for the Totem.

Demonxz95: Looks cute, but other than that its not really impressive, maybe a more Legendary-worthy effect?

KANSAS: Again, I like it, but effect's been overdone too unfortunately.

Got a few ideas under my belt for this competition and finally i made them in a healthy amount of time

    My thoughts on current cards:

@LarryMoments, I like Hardenered Defender the best. Though I am a bit confused about the name, what exactly does "Hardenered" mean?

Oh yeah. That's a typo. It's Hardened Defender and not Hardenered. My bad! also messeger instead of messager oog

My brainstorm I just had, checked a bit of WoW lore, and here I come with my 3 cards. The first being an old one I posted on the discord, but I fixed it.

Okay, I listened to the feedback, and tried to change it accordingly while still having it's original purpose in.

Also apparently I use 5 minutes of my time to fix this but I can't make another card for the competition in one hour, pretty sure my brain is completely devoid of potentially good ideas.

Okay, I'm gonna give a bunch of feedback on some peeps.

linkblade (Summon Weapons) - Kind of iffy on the balance side (regarding bigger weapons) but so far its a pretty cool and well-made card! It looks like a pretty good spell to get to use the value over-time of the more expensive Paladin weapons.

thepowrofcheese (Incinerate) - Not a fan of this. Its infinite-value damage to the face, and unlike Headcrack, this one does a pretty considerable amount of damage. I suggest reducing the damage to 4 and/or make it target only minions, its kinda scary ngl.

Dermostatic (Murloc Legendary)- Definetely a Shaman card, and a dangerous one. But considering the amount of Overload spells and the random targetting this could go lots of ways. I suggest increasing the cost to (5), as this is a pretty dangerous effect (not really sure myself on my balance suggestion tbh). Fortunally not on the same set as Eye of the Storm, because that on turn 4 would be absolute bonkers.

And...planned to join in into the Mech-y ambientation of Boomsday, you may want to use the small minion to kill a smol minion and get a copy of it. Or Magnetize something to this to get a bigger one, plus as another option, making it survive if you think you got more potential choices

Aight, first competition of OoC here we come! Dang I missed participating in competitions, but may just occasionally participate tho.

I made a thought-out potpourri of cards to see what sticks and to see what you guys thought about them and i still suck at making spells, btw, I am still lacking in the creative apartment.

I feel like I'm an underwhelming card creator in comparision to other people that do cards with a LOT better quality in less time.

And also better ideas + naming, specially considering I take 5-10 minutes in the name and people might already have a better one in what, ¿a few minutes?, in the end I sometimes don't even think I'm remotely good and just straight give up. My lack of confidence doesn't help either.
