  • Live4vrRdieTryn, you got it! You're up!

  • Not a bad guess, but no. The first line you got, the second and third refer to a card mechanic, and the card doesn't literally become an ogre, but like a particularly well-known one back in the day.

  • An oldie but goodie(?):

I serve those who strike from the shadows

At first I am quite ordinary

but second, I can be an ogre!

  • Mech that sprays out goodies (or at least a Legendary) when killed. Could it be a Weaponized Piñata?

  • R, you got it, and the original riddle too! Great job, and you're up next!

  • OK, let's make this quick:

    Friend of the sunshard

Neither blade nor beast shall pass my crypt

  • Not even when the target card costs 12 (high noon) in Standard of say more than a year ago? Maybe it duplicates the card as well?

    Edit: added clarification

  • Hmm, all the cards (target, interaction initiating, and answer) have two word names.

  • ...then later unnerfed I think.

  • The interaction was so ubiquitous that the one of the cards (not the answer) was nerfed.

  • The target card is a neutral, the card that initiates the interaction a class card, and the result (the answer) is from a different class. How does that even happen?

  • Nope.

  • Interesting idea, but no. The attribute from the sig hint is a number.

  • OK, by popular demand(?) I put a hint in my sig. Oh yes, once again song lyrics (which one can goggle or whatever), but it won't be the name of the card (no song that I know of will do that), but instead a hint for an attribute of the card.

  • And the first line is the target card, which is important.

  • Wrong interaction and card. The last line is a word play on the resultant card name (i.e. the answer), which isn't one of the cards in the card interaction.

    Edit: OCD typo fix

  • No. The first two lines refer to a card interaction you might have seen on ladder a time or two (or a hundred).

Edit: Full disclosure, I haven't played Hearthstone in almost a year, so not recently.

  • OK, I promise there are no song references, just Hearthstone:

    A molehill writ large

    Transformed by the call

    And now... seriously dismayed!

  • Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk?

    The hints:

    1) proud+more -> Mage

    2) Legendary who is in WoW (had to look her up)

    3) Jan'alai looks the part

    4) Expensive (7 drop) and need time for all of the hero powering

    5) (dragon)hawk: check

    6) Gift? Rag-something, yeah I guess I've seen worse gifts.

  • R, you got it! You're up next!
