Not a bad guess, but no. The first line you got, the second and third refer to a card mechanic, and the card doesn't literally become an ogre, but like a particularly well-known one back in the day.

The interaction was so ubiquitous that the one of the cards (not the answer) was nerfed.

Wrong interaction and card. The last line is a word play on the resultant card name (i.e. the answer), which isn't one of the cards in the card interaction.
