As the ranked play season ends, it’s time to reveal the monthly reward card for February. For the first time in a while, a new support card is coming to Legends: Skyshard!
Skyshard is an ongoing support in the Endurance attribute with a cost of three magicka. Unlike many ongoing supports, which stay on the board after they’re played, Skyshard also comes with a Summon effect. Playing Skyshard immediately draws a random creature from your deck – as well as kicks in the card’s ongoing effect.
As long as Skyshard’s in play, creatures you draw gain a +2/+2 buff…but also cost two additional magicka to summon. A double-edged sword, but still a powerful one in the right deck – for example, one that cares a lot more about its creatures’ stats than their cost.
In a deck focused on magicka ramp, you’ll be able to reap the benefits of Skyshard in the late game, as you’ll have more than enough magicka to work with by that point. Cards that make your creatures battle other creatures, like Squish the Wimpy and Unstoppable Rage, also benefit from the stat increase. Additionally, a little extra power and health can make drawing weaker early game creatures more useful later on!
No matter how you plan to make use of Skyshard, make sure you head into the ranked ladder today to earn your copies! As with all our monthly reward cards, reaching rank 9 in our ranked ladder by the end of the month will award you one copy, rank 5 will earn you the second and if you finish rank 1 or higher you’ll get a full playset. In addition, if you’re able to finish in the top 1,000 Legend ranks, your playset will be premium!
Congratulations to this weekend's winner of the ECQ for Echoes of Eternity, Twanbon! If you'd like to try out his deck you can copy the code from the spoiler below.
We’re shaking the Field Lane up once again in The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ latest event! Get ready for the Mage Tower Gauntlet!
Mage Tower Gauntlet: February 21 – February 24
For this event, the standard Field Lane has been transformed into the Mage Tower Lane! Whenever you play an action, a random creature of the same cost will be summoned into the Mage Tower Lane. What sort of allies will you summon? Only one way to find out!
Each time players complete a run of this weekend’s event, they will also receive a premium alternate copy of Imperial Reinforcements!
Each run through the Mage Tower Gauntlet costs three Event Tickets or 500 Gold for each run, up to three maximum runs allowed. Players will also rank up on the leaderboards with each run - if you wind up a top-ranking player, you could receive bonus rewards!
The Mage Tower Gauntlet begins Friday, February 21 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, February 24. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!
[This] weekend the fourth Eternal® Championship Qualifier: Echoes of Eternity will qualify another top player for the Eternal World Championship!
ECQ: Echoes of Eternity will be our first look at how the new set shakes up the Throne format! Join in February 21 – 23, and you’ll also get the new alt-art Teething Whelp and premium card back!
ECQ: Echoes of Eternity consists of two stages: Qualifiers that are open to all players on Steam, iOS, Android, and Xbox, and the Finals that will feature the Top 64 players from the Qualifiers.
Participating in the ECQ requires a registered and validated account and email address. This can be done through the Options menu in-game. We strongly encourage players to register and validate their email addresses in advance of attempting to enter the tournament.
ECQ: Echoes of Eternity will use the Throne format.
All players on Steam, Xbox, and iOS or Android phones & tablets can participate in ECQ: Echoes of Eternity.
The Qualifiers begin on Friday, February 21 at 10 am MST (17:00 UTC) and will close sharply on Saturday, January 22 at 4 pm MST (23:00 UTC).
No one may enter the tournament or start a new game after 16:00 pm MST (23:00 UTC).
Games in progress may be completed until 4:30 pm MST (23:30 UTC), at which time all scores will become final.
Players can complete their games at any time during the Qualifiers; there is no benefit or penalty for playing early, late, or throughout.
Bring your best Throne deck for 28 games, win-or-lose, in a battle to make the Top 64.
You may only enter once, and you may not switch decks between games.
The Top 64 players from the Qualifiers will progress forward to the Finals.
ECQ: Echoes of Eternity costs 1,800 Gems or 35,000 Gold to enter.
The Finals begin promptly at 11 am MST (18:00 UTC) on Sunday, February 23.
Qualifying players must be online and ready to play when the Finals begin.
You will receive an in-game prompt to join your first game when the Finals begin.
The Finals are open to only the top 64 players from the Qualifiers.
Finals matches are best-of-3 games, single-elimination, played with the same constructed deck used in the Qualifiers.
There will be a short delay between the last active game in a round and the start of the next round.
All games must finish before the next round can start, so watch the Bracket View.
When it is time to play, you will receive an invitation to join your next game.
All Finalists’ decklists will be published prior to the Finals beginning.
Prizes will be delivered upon conclusion of the Finals. All packs are from Echoes of Eternity.
All players will receive four alternate-art copies of Teething Whelp, and a special Teething Whelp premium card back, just for playing!
All players will receive prizes based upon their number of wins in Qualifiers:

Patch 0.17.5 is primarily a bug fix patch, however it does include the Valentine’s Day 2v2 event, which will run until Feb 23. In this special 2v2 mode, players can only create minions and enchantments on their partner’s side (in case it isn’t immediately apparent, we’re trying to replicate the awkward feeling of the staple of county fairs all over the world - the three-legged race). Complete the event mission to earn the Feast of Hearts card trim!

The Eternal Store has 5 new theme decks to choose from with the launch of Echoes of Eternity. You can also purchase a theme bundle and get some cool alt-art versions of Clockroach!
Echoes of Eternity brings five new pre-constructed theme decks ready for Expedition play!
Pale Rider’s Countdown – Acquire the skills you need for victory!

Kazuo’s Artisans – Build the ultimate weapon!
Midias’s Horde – Amass a dragon’s hoard!
Strange Cultists – Will Strangers save Xulta…or doom it?

Spring Cleaning
Next Monday, February 17, we’ll be doing some spring cleaning and removing older theme decks from the in-game store.
Ten theme decks will remain available for purchase (the decks from Echoes of Eternity and Flame of Xulta), and all of the non-Expedition-legal theme decks will be removed from the store.
This change should make it easier for players to find theme decks relevant to them, and for new players to quickly jump into Expedition play.
Look for future theme deck store updates as new content releases, and grab your bundle to begin exploring the new cards from Echoes of Eternity!
The pauper gets a princely promotion in The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ latest event, the Noble Gauntlet!
Noble Gauntlet: February 14 – February 17 Like the commons-only Pauper Gauntlet, a Noble deck is restricted by rarity. In this case, only Common and Rare cards are allowed. Don’t let your guard down, though! A Noble deck can still put up some impressive power without the help of any Epic or Legendary cards.
Once you’ve constructed a deck, square off with opponents until you reach nine wins or three losses, whichever comes first! Each run through the Noble Gauntlet costs one Event Ticket or 150 Gold, with up to three maximum runs allowed.
The Noble Gauntlet begins Friday, February 14 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, February 17. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!
Yeah, his name is not the best with him being involved in card games. Try searching "control" on YouTube and all you find are "Control Decks for X". So it's pretty difficult to even find his channel.

There's a new promo card up for grabs for your first PVP win each day. It's available until 3/2, so act fast!
Cool card ideas floating around here. Nice job all!
Not quite that late here. You could always save it until next weekend and be like "Wow! I have an entire weekend to try this out!".
I loved the game, but when you "go into maintenance mode" it doesn't do your player base any favors as most people see it as essentially a dead game.
This weekend starts a new Gauntlet event for TESL.
Don't forget there's another ECQ this weekend!
I know it's a build he was working on and will likely be revamped today after slight changes due to the patch this week.
It doesn't, but nice try! ;)
They are physical cards. They include a promo-code to redeem a special sleeve for MTG Arena.
A new patch for Mythgard dropped today. It primarily fixes bugs and implements a Valentine's Day event.
The Eternal Store has 5 new theme decks to choose from with the launch of Echoes of Eternity. You can also purchase a theme bundle and get some cool alt-art versions of Clockroach!
The upcoming TESL Gauntlet will start tomorrow and run through February 17.
Oh, don't worry. That's exactly what happened. =)
Yep. It's a good one!
He's...not in charge.
Yeah, his name is not the best with him being involved in card games. Try searching "control" on YouTube and all you find are "Control Decks for X". So it's pretty difficult to even find his channel.
Previous patch notes have released at 2:00pm ET, but I can't confirm that will always be consistent.
