I don't think there is anything he could have said that would be satisfactory to all, but in my view better he acknowledge it and apologize rather than stay silent.
The fairer the workplace is, and better all staff are respected and treated properly the better.
I prefer to use fairness rather than equally because I don't really think in a company setting everyone is equal. People have different skills, work differing amounts and bring varying degrees of value to the business. But striving for fairness and treating everyone at every level equitably with respect seems like a minimum standard all companies should adopt.
Doesn't sound like that's always been the case here, though I am sure many large companies have such problems in their past also. Own up to it, sincerely apologize and make things better.
Disappointing as reveal season is one of the highlights I look forward to, but I agree with Flux's points regarding keeping some perspective here.
Hopefully lots of positives will come out of what sounds to have been a very unpleasant situation for many - both Activision Blizzard and all other large companies watching.
Treat people fairly and respectfully whatever their race, religion, gender, age etc. Not only because it's the right thing to do and avoids lawsuits, but people valued tend to be easier to retain and work better. Everyone wins.
Quests complete - doing it in the tavern brawl (not the ranked quest of course) with mana reductions and conceding on 15 or less health speeds thing up considerably.
Just make sure when things have settled down a bit you treat yourself with something nice. You earned it.
Let's hope $q isn't set too high :)
Please don't be good in raza priest.
Busy day huh Flux?
I ended up working overnight until 10:30 am so I can empathize a bit :P
Great work as always mate.
You used the word opined again, and that always earns a +1 from me.
I love Thijs.
Can he rap? No. Does he care? Nope!!
May he never change.

Agreed,
Also doing nothing on turn 1, and losing a card from your starting hand really hurts aggressive decks.
Note I'm almost always wrong regarding my comments on new cards.
I suppose at some point in will feature in a Trolden video that enables/prevents next turn lethal out of nowhere :)
I have no idea why anyone would play this.
What am I missing?
Hey that's my deck I made earlier!!!!
No not really, it's yours. Looks fun :)
But that makes this card busted.
I can't kill cutie turtle!! I'll have to run silence or something :)
Same. Looked like it was going to be 1500XP = 50 gold a month extra at this point for most people.
If we say this is 500XP extra then it's 16 gold a month extra.
Ah well let's hope it leads to some fun games at least :)
It only occurred to me because I'd heard it was possible to buy wild adventures for gold again if you changed the time on the client.
No idea if that's true, been fixed, or bannable offense.
Just idle musings :)
Are the quest activation's based on client time or server side time?
If the former then you could complete all 12 the same day. Though that sounds like a good way to get banned.
Just thinking out loud - I would have thought they should have already thought of this so it would use server side time.
edit: easy enough to answer my own question by setting my client date to tomorrow. No new quest so server side it is :)

So reveal countdown timers will be coming to the front page again soon!
There's something about them that is super exciting :) :) :)
Thanks for this - I'd already forgotten it was this weekend :)
