Its like a rush card, but a bit worse? I have no idea what you would do with this card. It could probably be good in a Big Warrior decklist if it gets more support. Just like Kurtrus Ashfallen, it just doesn’t do enough to see conventional play
An 8 mana 5/5 that draws/plays 3 spells. I’m not sure what you would want to run this in. The only cards that really benefit from this are Cenarian Ward and the C’thun pieces, which will probably help to be an alternative for Gadgetzan Auctioneer in the meme Miracle Druid build.
In a Survival Druid, there are probably too many minions to reliably play this and you want to control when you play Survival of the Fittest so to corrupt your clowns.
I’m waiting for the quest, so these are my initial impressions based on the current decklists.
Interesting card that will probably only see play as a discovered option from Wandmaker or as a card that is shoved into shadow Priest to make it work. The effect, while strong, is very inconsistent and requires you to reach turns 9-10 to get maximum value.
The variance is just way too large in the deathrattle minion pool to warrant running this card, and Priest doesn’t necessarily need more late game value to win, considering they have that abominable quest. Against aggro, this will mostly be a dead card and maybe you could do something cheeky with it like discovering a Deathsworn Cultist and restoring 4 health
I hate this card, and everyone will be complaining about it pretty soon. Its just a Tickatus for Priest, if you play control then get out because you aren’t going to kill a Priestbefore they finish this quest
Im surprised to see Devout Dungeoneer in your list. Is that draw one random spell from your deck that comes with a token 2/3 really that useful? I would think Wandmaker would still be relevant even with the Renew nerf, and at very least on a good day it does curve into scorpid on 3.
I don’t believe the list is completely optimized yet, so there are clear places for improvements.
That being said, I hope this is what Priest becomes rather than that abomination of a deck in Standardright now

Smh the Illidan fight was pretty disappointing. They completely glossed over some of the important details, like how Illidan was actually trying to do good for once. Maybe that’s because Malfurion is a biased narrator and this will come up in the Illidan book
Could see play in a Corrupt variant of the Priest quest deck. I don’t know what Divine Shields or Rush cards Warlock would want to run though
This is just a very good card. Gives burst and had utility as either a cycling tool or even an overload clearing tool

Won’t see any serious play except for memes. Warlock already doesn’t need help in control matchups and it only makes your aggro ones even wors
5 stars because Blizzard never learns with cost reduction, and the requirment is very easy for Warlock
