I think the HS team really screwed up with the entire expansion here. Because if Mage gets nerfed, then Warlock will need to be nerfed as well because that deck is disgustingly strong and only being held back by Mage. And then if it’s not Mage/Warlock it will be Shaman and so on… everything is at way too high of a power level right now,
Played with Quest Warlock for a while and the deck seems VERY solid. It absolutely demolished any minion-based strategies and can very easily win most matchups. It only really struggles against Mage which has the capability to burst Warlock down while not having any minions to leech off/cycle cards.
And of course, the quest I hate is Mage :) just throw down spells and complete it by turn 6. After that, just take everything and point it face. I don’t know, maybe aggro is really good against it?
I personally feel Defend the Dwarven District is really overrated, it will probably be a good tier 2/3 deck until it gets more support from the miniset. Same with Battleground Battlemaster, because seriously, when has Windfury ever worked out (except the Doomhammer)
I think people are really sleeping on the Paladin quest as well as the handbuff variants of it. They just need some tweaks like a bit more draw and proactive stuff like Broomsticks to really pop off.
Lock and Load will definitely need to be run in this deck to create more resources. Hunter doesn’t have enough spells to make this quest reward worthwhile otherwise
So, if drawing a Soul Fragment counts as completing 2 for the quest then this seems much more playable all of a sudden. Otherwise, the deck would need way more support to function and actually win
I wonder what kind of support this Quest will get. I mean it gets basically no support from anything, so you draw your whole deck, play Kurtrus, and if you’re not dead by then congratulations! Your remaining 4 cards cost 2 less. The only thing I can think to try this with right now is some turbo C’thun deck or maybe an Elwynn Boar meme deck.
Soul DH doesn’t need this quest at all, if you want to play it, the questless version is probably way bette
This seems pretty bad, unlike Priest, Warlock can’t generate a full hand out of nowhere and suddenly play this guy. I feel like he should have had lifesteal or something else like rush to swing the board back after the Warlock spends their life and mana to fill their hand while doing nothing on the board

Opened roughly 40 packs with gold and got 5 epics and 3 legendaries; 2 of which were quests fortunately

There’s a big countdown timer by the forums page I believe. About one and a half days away from when this post is written
The new Spell Treasure seems really broken, you thin your entire deck and just draw all of the good stuff. Not bad at all!

Priest: Shadowblasts my face for 3 damage and ends the turn.
Me: not bad. *pulls out comically large bow and arrow*
Shadowreaper Anduin is back, AND HE HAS A GUN
That epic Darkspear Berserker synergy to help end the game faster

Its an Illidari Inquisitor for 5. That’s already really good, we’ll just have to see if there is enough support for the attack Druid archetype
Throw this into Yogg and Load Hunter, and muah. Really good card, unfortunately it is an epi
Absolutely broken. With how much value Shaman can generate, I am concerned we’ll get a Priest 2.0 that can actually kill you

This quest is absolutely insane. Seems like it will be a very fun deck to pla
Total corruption? TOTAL POWAAAAAAAAAAH
Seems a bit easy to complete as an “I win” kind of card, but that’s just m
Doesn’t go face, so probably won’t see any play outside of fun decks like Quest Hunter
