Always wondered what happened to Mr. Dodds after he stepped down as Game Director. I remember Mr. Chayes from the Frozen Throne announcement trailer. He was the one opposite Mr. Brode, slowly morphing into an undead over the video.

So these cards aren't just staying for the month? but will be around until the next expansion? a whole extra month? That's what they mean by next major update right?

HSreplay has mage below warlock. And Imp Gang Boss is an amazing card for zoo. Rag/sylv could work as well. In fact, the neutral legendaries all have had great success in warlocks of the past so I wouldn't count warlock out just yet.
And all but maybe 2 classes got at least 1 card that doesn't really fit any current decks so I wouldn't feel too bad about that.
I'm sure warrior is going to be able to run all the neutral legendaries so maybe that's why they lowballed the class cards so hard. Just a shame as there are plenty of great cards i would have rather seen back.

The new arena rotation surely means "Classic" instead of "Standard" right?
The warrior cards seem far below the power of what everyone else is getting. Bloodhoof Brave is a nice taunt but not really what control warrior is looking for. Cornered Sentry or Alley Armorsmith are more in line for them. Where's Death's Bite? Great for quest warrior. Perfect for Plague of Wrath. Seems like an excellent time to chomp some death.
A card I would have liked to see back would be Sparring Partner. Very interesting card that was mostly overlooked in its day. The fact that it targets any minion has really interesting applications for tempo warrior and control alike. Applications that were mostly lost on me back in 2015.
These cards seem far from the most powerful or most popular warrior cards. It shows blizz is terrified of giving warrior anything more right now. Which should scare us too.

While I agree and don't think they'll do this, how complicated could it be? Zephrys isn't looking for lethals with these cards. It's simply solid tempo plays. I can see Rag taking that Tirion spot we see today, and Sylvanas could take the Highmane slot.
If they wanted they could maybe delve deeper into the cards functions to maybe see %lethals or tempo swings, but since they're back temporarily anyways, just the solid tempo option would be enough imo.

I'm using the standard secret list from hsreplay. Been playing it since end of last month when i took it from rank 4 to legend. Currently, your sand binder variant is the highest winning from 5 to legend (still only the secret list with enough games in legend) but the secret list is #2 and ahead of all the other variants of your list.
There are a ton of iterations of your list. I wish there were a ton for secret as well, but it's been the same for a month. (there was one running Subject 9)
So it's not true that secret package is just worse. Why does it seem like most people are ignoring it?

Tempostorm has a bomb warrior list that's much like this one. I'd like to cut the warpaths, brawl, woodcutter axe, and eleks for 2 rovers, 2 frothing berserker, and 2 bloods worn mercs. From there maybe get a Gromm and 2 inner rage in. Armorsmiths over flunky. Just my 2 cents. Think this needs more tempo.

yay 1k portraits work again.
mine are all showing on decks in the que screen and collection manager, but missing in games. They were working earlier today.

Shieldmaiden? Another popular and powerful card. Even Iron Juggernaut for the bomb memes?

Varian Wrynn is and always will be a fun meme card, minus the fun half the time. I'll def tryout a Dimensional Ripper, Hakkar, the Soulflayer deck with him but I think we all know how that's gonna go.

bless your heart
Cyclone mage for sure will come back. Given time maybe even some new archetypes show up we can't even see yet.

I think Ragnaros or Sylvanas would be pretty solid when you need to saturate your mana with good tempo plays.
Also I believe those are the only 2 that previously were classic which is what I was referring to.
Will the former classic cards regain their classic status? Zephrys the Great would approve.

I wish Secret Palander could see some love. They do better against Priest for sure.

you'll still only see the same classes being played. Now you just won't get to see the fancy tech these decks could bring.
Disappointed. I like Specialist format a lot and tuned in to a lot of streams.
Bonkers! Things are getting out of control..
so recruit 7 murlocs.
Sounds powerful. Like that paladins are getting murloc tech again. Will be fun to play a few times at least I'm sure.
EDIT: After watching kripps video, I think Tip the Scales will bring Bluegill Warrior back into murloc decks.
Why are these all classic? Weren't most of the HoF cards from Witchwood?
What's the best deck vs anxiety boss?
