New Update???

Just logged in and got an update notice.  Downloaded the update, processed the packet (quickly I might add) then green fireflies have sprouted across the tavern's main screen and a green outline surrounds the Arena button for a moment (they are no changes to Arena that I can see, though I am in the middle of a run)... anyone know what is going on?

  • The green glow around the arena just signifies there's a special event going on, namely dual class arena-ing. It's there every time you enter the main screen.

    I assume the update was a bugfix of some kind.

    • Thx for the reply; I swear I've never seen that green glow before, but maybe my phone is slow/needed update?  Not sure, but if I'm not missing out on anything (the arena run I am doing right now is dual class, so that's not new), no big deal.  Thx again!

  • Here's what I found for changes:

    • Change to Fireside Gathering Tooltips to give them a default duration.
    • Internal logging changes for errors and warnings
    • Change to the region dropdown on mobile to make sure it doesn't get covered with anything.
    • Some code clean-up.
    • The new Hero Cards are flagged as being premium rewards and not regular ones.=

    May also have some bug fixes for other stuff that I couldn't find easily.

    • Hmmm, that middle item "Change to the region dropdown..." feels like it could have affected the front menu on my phone... I always attempt to find information regarding the patches with very little success... thx for the research!

  • There was quite a few glitches with the new hero portraits, and one noticeable difference after the patch was that the decks with new skins were accurately displayed.
    Fluxx named a few fix and updates but I also suspect way more than meets the eyes.

  • Candy corn. Why did it have to be candy corn? Nasty.... 

  • yay 1k portraits work again.

  • I did notice the portraits within the Arena now display a Halloween theme (which I didn't see before), as well as the CPU home screen has a theme as well (including the aforementioned candy corn... not a fan either of the candy, but the screen looks nice).  I only about 800 wins away from the 1k on my closest class (I jump around a bit), so I didn't experience any issues or resolutions there :)
