This is a weird card, and rather difficult to evaluate. It isn't hard for you to play around this by placing smaller minions on the edges, so in most cases I don't think you giving a minion to your opponent will to terrible a downside. The question is whether or not your opponent has placed their good minions on the edges of their board. It is nice to have the flexibility to choose which way things go, but I am not sure if that will make it reliable enough to play.
However, this will be a lot of fun in the chaos Shudderwock deck that I just decided I want to build.
*edit* after playing a few games with the aforementioned Chaos Shudderwock deck, I can say that this guy is fun, fairly useful, and can backfire with shudderwock real bad (I gave my shudderwock to my opponent, and then he continued to trigger all of his battlecries from their side).

It feels so refreshing and strong actually. I used to play Quest Reno Mage before the nerf then I switched to Reno Warlock. Recently I crafted the Jaina DK but I was struggling to create a strong list (I used the dragon package but as you said somewhere... it's not good enough justify its inclusion).
I don't have Ragnaros but I have the Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk so I use it instead but I feel it very clunky most of the times. I do love the synergy with the DK and Brann but still feels like taking eternity to be activated.
However I have the prime and I feel most of the times it turns the games in the positive (for me when I play it) direction. Do you have a replace suggestion(s)? The Starscryer perhaps?
I can also say that reaching Legend in Wild is easier... and definitely more fun. Often in Standard I hate that the matches tend to be polarised - you know the outcome of a game from the start and that could extra tilt you, thus making you not play like you believe you'll win. While there are some similarities in Wild, for me personally, it's not the same.
For Standard I believe that you should definitely use the best deck that you can afford. Then tech it. This is the key for me - be aware of the meta. You can check also the decklist here:
My best advice for you is to craft the deck that you like the most and just be happy to play it. As another fellow said - the Legend rank will become the side effect. Good luck!
Having in mind the new extended duplicate rule, I'd like to ask you what's your opinion on disenchanting the bad legendaries that you have.
Since you are now guaranteed that you won't open them again (soon), do you think it's a good idea to disenchant the ones that never saw play? I'll gladly D/E my second Millhouse Manastorm which I opened again right after I D/E him in first place...
Not that I need dust for something specific but I ask as for the general "good practice" advice. Because previously it was to keep the legendaries no matter how playable are they, so that you don't open them again if you open more packs from that set.
Furthermore, I'd gladly D/E any 4 non-playable legendaries to craft one T1 legendary from the crafting guide.
Today I got my first 60g quest without rerolling and another one when rerolling. I start to believe that the previous state of receiving only 60g was the anomaly...

I hit Legend for the first time in January... and then again in February. TBH, I was kind of disappointed because of the second time in a consecutive month. :-/
Btw I heard that it's much easier to hit legend in Wild (where I did myself also).

I'd prefer the rest of the packs to be swapped for another 2475 gold :)

Also be sure that the streamer has "twitch drops enabled" -> it appears as a green label under the channel info.
Btw the in-game description has the "Standard" in it, not the "Year of the Dragon". So is it just the post that was wrong?
