So far the difference what you get between the premium and normal pack (80+ Hero VS 50) was not big enough. It would make sense if they spice it up a bit.
yes, most likely its like that. But then, on the other hand it probably depends with "whom" you compare.
They also say that Legend is still 0.01% of all HS players (out of 100 Mio). But from those 100 Mio some might only play once per month, so you cannot really count them.
I think it is very obvious that DH in his current state is pretty broken. I am now playing Kolentos Pure Libra Pal and I beat them regularly. Nevertheless, these stats up here don't lie. And the first nerfs will be incoming for sure quite soon.
Just made it (exactly :D ) to 8000 in Battlegrounds and then I found the post here from a month ago that from 8000 you are in the top 0.1%? Is this true?
Tirion was pretty OP. I won so many lobbies with him and always ended up at least top 4. If you found the right minions on turn 1 and 2 it was basically GG.
well, actually that would make a lot of sense, but not in the way of "reward".
If the system understood that you are willing to invest money, they could also use it to trigger you buying that one pack more, bc you are missing dust/that specific card etc.
Climbing almost legend, but then....too bad you didnt make it. You might be buying new packs to get that new deck to counter what you lost against those last matches.
If you check the stats at HS Replay, you can see that a huge amount of games is played at rank 5 (on all servers). Does not mean that the most players are there, but I think the 6% are really many people stuck at 4-5.
For many of us the goal is to stay above 5 at the end of the season. I am pretty sure that from rank 3 you are already in the 1-2 % of all players.
I think the deck struggles against decks that can go wide in early game-. You are depending too much on RNG from the cards you generate (or discover).
But i liked the Maly idea, especially since nobody is expecting it.
Therefore I took the Tempo Rogue deck swapped some cards to add the OTK combo cards that were missing.
I think its the sweet spot, bc you dont need all of them for a finisher, since the Tempo Deck already puts your opponent below a certain health level. Thx for the idea!
PS: If my version is successful, I will post it here.
Very interesting and well written article! Nice read, thx for the work!
Beside all that was mentioned here I think one thing is of major importance when it comes to Blizz games in general (and especially in HS):
They want players to move within a 40-60% win rate. Not below and not above. Like this they ensure that everyone can have fun AND (!!) you need to play a lot to climb.
RNG helps a lot accomplishing that without breaking your head (even more) on every card that you release.
Well, what can I say. Its not the best card, but since its a highlander deck, doubling you dragons (or those from Dragon Roar) can give you quite some value. For sure its not a mandatory card in that and could be swapped for another dragon or battlecry card.
Its a battlecry, an elemental and it guarantees you to draw the storm bringer. Putting these 3 together was enough value for me to include it. Of course not a mandatory card at all.
Thx! I adjusted the deck recently and will post an update soon. There were some things that didnt turn out so well in the end. Thunderhead is one of the cards that I kicked out.
2x Pala 2x Hunter in top 5. (Especially Pure and Libram Pala more or less a variation of a similar deck).
Sadage

Statistics - never trust them ;)

Anyway, was not so difficult to climb when you play more conservative and you still win the lobby sometimes in that way.
You only end up bottom of top 4 when RNG f***s you really really hard.

Sounds like new deck potential ;)
But there is a quest rogue deck with Maly already here from Rippy.
Maybe you like it more or want to start from there. I personally prefer going for Tempo.
With Unstable Element, Zephrys is always an option. Nice idea.
Yes, for sure its an option! I put in the Shadowsteps to combo with Leeroy Jenkins as "classic" finisher, especially since I took out one Waggle Pick.
But yes, if expect the Maly finisher to be more consistent in your matchups or think you need more card-draw, Shiv is a good choice!
I currently stick to Shadowstep as it generates more value and is useful when building up a big Edwin VanCleef.
Thx for your input!
Let me know what you think or if you have questions ^^

Makes sense, especially since you see some of those also in the current solo adventures.
With so few double crards you should consider to add something that can grant you the perfect card ;)
First time I saw the animation. Its NAISU!

Thx and I am happy you like the flavor ;)
or maybe one of each. Would have nice synergies on turn 8?
Thx for the feedback!
