Add two spell damage augmerchents and you have a nice cheap combo finisher

No I would never want freeze mage back but let's say you are playing control and want a decent finisher  aside from easy stuff like zeph. Where do you go. I've been looking at desert obelisk. Still no real way to pull this off well in standard and mogu cultist where Rogue is the only viable class in standard to pull this off after rotation. Maybe it's the masochist inside of me but I want to fight for my wombo combo

Thanks guys for the replies. Since I wrote this I've found a few more combos so it's not completely dead. Mainly involving the augmerchents but we all know how 6 card combos pan out. I can see why they want to minimise otks in standard but does this hold up to the statement that they want to cater to every style of player. I'm not so sure

There are dozens of uses for this. I'm gonna try it in a quest deck that generates spells. If this is in starting hand you can delay quest by 1 turn and if you have coin this is easy on curve play.  With all the cheap spell generators around this is a great value card. I do have a theorycraft on my page if anyone is interested

This is a very good initial analysis and I agree that due to demon hunter classes will be hardlocked in to their strongest strategy with the most optimal decks  being favoured. 

My fellow memers and I will struggle a bit at first but there is lots of fun to be had this expansion.

Those  2 cost 0 if you have 7 mana cards are there to manage your hand size effectively so if you play a card like UI or the card that heals and draws for 5 you can still manage your hand size well. Yes I would say these cards suit a combo deck or chef nomi deck

I would say if your not using this with some kind of quest deck you are doing it wrong. Maybe one that generates lots of spells

Hey so just got my complimentary dust and was about to dust my copies also when I noticed its just normal rates on those cards so 400 for a leg and 100 for an epic. Just wanted to check this was correct before I dust them thanks.

You could use this with mana reservoir and shadow step for a cheap finisher in Rogue or you can get spell damage x 6 for 8 mana in druid I know I will try to make this work.

Actually the more I think about it there are dozens of way you can make a threat out of these for almost every class
