I don't know if Divine Shield + Taunt is worth 2 Mana on top of [card]Blessing of Kings[/card], still susceptible to single target removals and board wipes anyway (unlike [card]spikeridged steed[/card] that was actually sticky and not just divine shield)

It is weaker than [card]spikeridged steed[/card], because deathrattle part was pretty important against single target removal
Don't forget that quest wants you to float Mana so playing [card]Acornbearer[/card] on turn 2 is what you actually want to do
Carpet might be actually good... interesting idea
It was like singleton deck, I just don't know what 2 and 3 drop to play instead for good curve.
