Looks like blizz want to push Y'shaarj with new corrupt cards.
I doubt that they design corrupt cards on future sets, so Y'Shaarj will just synergizes with a few cards of one expansion. Remember how limited Making Mummies was cuz this. That new corrupt cards were necessary.
I think that blizz will never design a good AoE for Rogue, they reworked Plague of Madness before they release Tombs of Terror set because lack of AoE is one of rogue's trait.
Starting at vanilla hearthstone and talking about every expansion and how the meta evolves (maybe including the nerfs patchs and the consequantial meta change) could be nice and interesting.
Obviously you will need a lot of articles, maybe one for each expansion/year, and tons of work and data compilation. It will not be easy.

The effect is good, but maybe is slow for the meta.

Hipothecally, if you have a spell that "deal 0 damage to a minion" and select that minion as a target... Will deal 1 damage instead?
Really awesome with spell damage.
I like It, 5/5 card for control decks, especially CW.
Defensive support for Big archetype, not enought to be a thing, but maybe the next year.
I can see that card pushing the Silverhand archetype.
Really cool effect, but that card don't fit in any archetype nowadays.

Meme decks are the only one thing that makes HS a funny game, I LOVE to play memedecks like this. I have all the cards and I'll try It for sure.
