The only class that will use this card unironically is warrior, as a sort of last resort after a nzoth play, since that will likely revive your Armagedillo, which will in turn make this a 6/6 at least.
But if you play nzoth and still not grab the win, then there's really something seriously wrong with your built, or your opponent is playing absolutely nothing but removal.
Outside of that very small niche, I don't see it. On its own, its decent, but gets value traded by nearly everything, so you can't just play it on its own. And if the idea is to buff it then play it on 9. Well, you'd have to have godlike skills to not just die before turn 9 in my opinion.
One amusing thing you can do is to play this in a Deck of Chaos built. Then its a 4 mana load your board with 9/4s. But that's admitably a highroll where its even outshined by Malygos who can simply win the game outright.
Agree.
Handbuff is the only one archetype that can play that card, and warrior is the only one class that can handbuff that card.
About the card, it's fine, but idk if is enough to be competitive. Shadow Essence is better because comes earlier, but Idol of Y'Shaarj summons a really HUGE body and that set priest can cheat the mana of his cards easily.
Priest is getting a good mana cheaters that set, maybe can take profit of Questing Explorer?
By the way, it's a really good card.
PS. If you reduce the mana of a corruptable card (from 4 to 3) that card will be corrupted if you play a 4 mana card? Or needs to play a card with cost higher than original cost?
I have a feeling this type of card will be bonkers against a certain type of deck. Like what would happen if a rogue player plays a piece of C'Thun, the Shattered and the spell gets transformed into something else? Would that break C'Thun completely?
Yes, your gameplan goes to the trash.
It's the same as when a mage Counterspell your piece. You need to play around and test the secret with others spells.
That set give us an interesting mememillcards.
Maybe mill rogue will rebirth.
The interesting fact is that wording is "summon" instead of "play" so, Illidan can take profit with his tokens with rush.
I don't see any other class playing that card.
Haters gonna hate with this card!
Maybe shaman can mill with the quest? Using Prize Vendor, Banana Vendor, King Mukla and K'thir Ritualist? Looks like a funny meme deck.
N'Zoth sinergy for classes without some tribes like Totems, Demons or Pirates.
And works well with totem shaman, specially with the new legendary totem.
The uncorrupted version is unplayable. If the wording were "discard top 5 cards" could be played on discolock.
Looks bad, but with quest can be a 3 mana summon 4 3/2 and 1 1/2 on t4-5.
Then Bloodlust and gg.
Druid use to play lots of spells, and that card can be played for 0 mana easily.
And any card cheated to 0 mana is dangerous.
5/5
That set revealed many cards that give the oponent cards, maybe Standar can see a mill deck?
Mill decks usally are countered by aggro, and a 4/4 3 mana taunt helps.
Agree.
Handbuff is the only one archetype that can play that card, and warrior is the only one class that can handbuff that card.
mmm... Jewel of N'Zoth, Idol of Y'Shaarj... Which classes will get a 8 mana spell of C'thun and Yogg?

We will see when full set is revealed.
I've forgot... Darkmoon Rabbit sinergy!!!

Insane card for SHRs and synergy with Salhet's Pride.
With the new legendary effect you will summon 2/3 divine shielded SHR... WTF.
Hadronox continues seeing play at wild? That card can be a really good adition.

Rush, deathrattle, tribe, draw and buff...
It's really good and as a neutral card. Hunter and priest have lack of draw and cards like this can help them.
Oh, I've seen a yellow border instead of brown, my mistake. :D
That card is better as a druid card because the insane ramp.
Shaman have a lot of Standar weapons, specially the new 3/2, Rune Dagger and [Hearthstone Card (fist of ra'den) Not Found].
Solid tutor draw woth tribe, i like it.
Rockbiter Weapon + this card = 7 mana deal 10 damage to the enemy.
Or more dmg if you have a weapon equiped at t6. Really strong effect, we will see if the deck is solid.
3 mana 3/2 weapon with effect is really good, and now shama can tutor it on turn 2 for a perfect curve.
Now shaman needs a good 1 drop, Surging Tempest doesn't synergizes with the new archetype.
