It kinda takes the exclusive aspect of hero arts - veterans having old, not accessible nowadays things.
It was always a big selling point of pre-orders for me.
IMO - when everybody can access everything, things lose that "exclusive" value, and become "easy to get" thing.
Games should have some exclusive things that veterans might be proud of - and say - "I've done that", "i've been part of it" etc.
It creates small histories of what events happend in the past. You can always look back and think to yourself "man, that event 2 years ago was cool, I have that unique thing that will always make me remember and I can show it off".

I started to experience a small burnout myself lately, but I think it's because of late expansion announcement - I found myself checking news for any new info every day.
New cards will definitely be a breath of fresh air - and we will get new cards every 2 month since new expansion.

Just completed my first Gauntlet.
Quick review - it was like playing normal ranked. A bit less XP for winning and loosing each match (100 xp for win, 50xp for loose) and you get bonus XP for wins (which caps at 1100 at 7 wins, if I remember correctly). There are 2 rewards, both are player icons, first one is for taking part and second one is for winning all 7 matches. The icon for winning looks great imo.
You can play Gauntlet multiple times for free.
It is promising - with new rules each week it might be cool mode, where you can "do something else" besides normal game mode.
Yes, with the duplicate protection you also can "condition" your champion capsule to open any champion you want.
Example: You want Sejuani on Freljord capsule, you can craft 3 copy of all 4 other champs (12 cards) to make sure you open it. I know it kinda expensive, but on freljord you already got some starter champs.
Like... maybe it is only me, but - if you want Sejuani isn't it cheaper just craft him than craft 12 other champions to open him?
When I have this kind of dilemma, I decide based on fun factor - meaning choose the one that you want to play / find cool atm. Watching gameplay videos may help with getting that feeling.
Or you can choose by checking win rates, but I would recommend the first option.
The 10g every 3 wins is a complete joke of a reward, and they surely realize this.
Hearthstone reward system is a joke for sure. I spent way too much money on this game, played it a lot, and I ALWAYS had to be careful with what I craft and many many times I had to skip deck that I wanted to try because I missed too many legends and it just wasn't good enough to justify crafting. I will never forget Blizzard this greedy system, they won't have a single penny from me from now on. Some time ago I realised I don't even have fun with this game anymore, so I quit it and don't even launch it anymore. This is how you lose a loyal player that bought almost all expansions.
When it comes to Gwent - it is a really good game. I played it a lot before Homecoming, and a bit after. Sadly I prefer the old version.
I finished Thronebreaker too, but couldn't get into Gwent for a longer time since HC. I miss the old decks - such as NG spies, alchemy, reveal, handbuff ; Scoia control, handbuff ; SK Greatswords and the list goes on. *edit* -and of course weather decks!
To me the new MVP in card games genre is Legends of Runeterra and I'm having a blast with it. Both gameplay-wise and economy-wise (I can literally play everything I want).

I think we can't be sure for now if Vile Feast would summon a spider. Imo yes it would.
It can't be 4 mana imo, because it's worse than Deny (it only affects one - friendly minion).
On the other hand it's burts... Nerf would probably change it's speed to fast.

Don't forget that 2nd and 3rd expansions include 40 cards each,
so beside 3 champions we get 37 other cards -
which may or may not shake the meta with new possibilities for already existing decks / archetypes.

Ok expansion on August 26th confirmed, but I was hoping for some more info... 3 weeks left, maybe at least a teaser...?
Cosmetics are cool and all but it's not what we are waiting for.

Runeterra has amazing lore.
That creature looks badass. I'm guessing big cost, stats and effect.

I don't play MTG but these looks amazing,
Daily things start a 3 am CEST (at least in my region, I play on EUNE)
So each day after 3 am CEST you:
-get a new quest,
-may receive bonus XP for first 3 wins,
-XP for loses refreshes,
-friend challenge XP refreshes,
-AI XP refreshes,
-may open the Vault (on Thursday, usually need to wait a few more minutes).
