It feels really weird to be saying that a 1-mana 2/2 isn't stacking up well enough to make it in constructed, but here we are.
Well, we've had 1 mana 1/3 with strong upsides since the very beginning of Hearthstone. This has a similarly strong statline, but no extra effect, so I don't find it an outrageous indicator of power creep. Although power creep has happened this expansion, obviously.
I disagree with the analysis of Ancharrr. 2/3 is pretty good stats for a 3 cost weapon and the effect is premium quality. I mean, compare it to Livewire Lance, which costs one more, has 1 less Durability and pulls arguably worse minions.
The trade for that is of course that you need to build a Pirate deck, which might not be easy in Standard right now. However, I'm quite sure Warrior will get new Pirates soon, otherwise this card wouldn't have been printed.
And even if that doesn't happen, this card will obviously be used in Wild, at the very least.
Had a lot of fun making this card :) I should've made it a class card, since such a powerful boardclear doesn't probably belong in Neutral, but whatevs.
I love the irony of having a rat that exterminates poison... When usually it's the other way around XDDD
Anyway, here's my card:
I wanted to name this card after an old Western movie known in Spain as "Solo ante el peligro" (Alone against danger)... But I discovered its original name is "High Noon" which has nothing to do with loneliness, so... lost in translation, I guess.
Next: Another Witchwood spell. Must be called "Heart of a Child" :P
They knew it to a certain extent. Keep in mind that there are a lot of potential decks to build, and the testing team isn't very big.
Within a day or two of the expansion, they retrieve data from millions, if not billions, of games, thus getting much more reliable data.
So, they probably knew it was top tier, but they didn't have enough data to check if it was actually OP.

I think Mech synergies are better than this effect.
Does anyone know if this guy has an extra effect while golden? Like Mega-Windfury or something.
Not the most original card in the world, but...
Next: A Shaman legendary Murloc.
I expected this guy to have Divine Shield, but I guess Lifesteal also makes sense.
This card is so much better than I expected. I designed an Armor tech which was just "Your minions ignore Armor". It was a 5 mana 4/4.
Now, if you think about it, this makes more sense, since it only works against Warrior, Druid and Paladin using Thekkan, so it better be OP.
Yeah, it utterly destroys Thekkan, but he's close to rotation, and I imagine he must be a real pain in Wild, with Molten Giant and stuff.
Very interesting article. I really like the idea behind the Infinite Dragonflight.
Dog is man's best friend. Except if said man is a Mage.
Next: A Breath spell. It must have an extra effect if you're holding a Dragon.
That's a bummer. I really like this flavor texts, it's a pity they ain't the real ones.

Sounds interesting! Looking forward to try it.
I'm kinda surprised Hunter is receiving poisonous dragons, but Brann is shown riding a red dragon in the trailer.
The Hunter legendary is yet to be revealed, but it would be weird if it was Alex, given the other Hunter cards revealed so far.
It's a shame, since giving the Explorer classes all four good Aspects would've been quite neat.

Next: A Mage spell related with time.
Next: A Paladin minion based on this painting by Remedios Varo.

This is to Violet Teacher what Edwin VanCleef is to Questing Adventurer.
Next: A Paladin card related with protection.
A neutral Shadow Visions, except it Discovers the spell itself and not a copy, so she doesn't generate extra value.
Next: A Druid spell.
I think I made him a bit underpowered, but whatever.
Next: A spell related with love <3
Next: a Shaman card related with Hex in some way. It can be a minion that synergizes with Hex, a spell which has a similar effect... Whatever!
