To be clear, I don't think they specifically pressued Regis or Kripp, but rather they called all the relevant streamers in and told them "this is going to happen, whether you want it or not, do we have any volunteers?"
And both of them decided that they minded the least.
I mean, if none of them wanted to give up their slots, what do you think would have happened?
All I'm saying is that if you have to enforce "equality" by just replacing creators so you get those sweet statistics you're basically just putting on a show and have no actual concern for the people involved, just your own image.
nah, we don't have that petty censorship here. Unless you post deliberately inflammatory stuff you should be fine.
Also, regarding that zalae post forma few days ago, it's not really censorship as much as people throwing out some really terrible and poorly thought out takes so Flux, being understandably frustrated, decided to shut down the whole thing to prevent the chaos.
It's not really censorship because he didn't remove specific comments for wrong think but rather shutting down the playground because he realised some people weren't mature enough for the discussion.
"voluntarily" as in "this is happening, someone has to go, but we're gonna give you the choice instead of forcing it".
You seem to not consider the fact that someone HAD to go. They literally just could have added more creator slots but they deliberately went with "this needs to be less dudes, so some of you better step up"
I have no issue with promoting smaller creeators, but not if it's at the cost of people who already earned their place.
That's not equality, that's tyranny of the mediocre.
It should be noted that this line of thinking might have the adverse efffect of pissing off people by essentially shoving creators in their face that they don'T care for while getting rid of the ones they actually are interested in.
Like, I don't really care about Regis or Kripp but they are very well known and popular creators so if I was interested in seeing them in events I would now feel very confused as to why they suddenly were replaced by two women I neither know nor care about.
If they had replaced Trump for instance, I would just have no more interest in watching these events at all.
If you want to promote more female creators that'S fine, but don't do the at the cost of established streamers, that just screams favoritism (even if said streamers stepped down voluntarily)
So Rush Warrior has been doing very well, you can just pull the best list off of HSreplay.
There's also apparently this new Tempo Mage deck making the rounds that's sort of a minion-based Spell Damage deck, but on HSreplay it still shows up under the regular Spell Damage MAge which has abysmal winartes because the most popular build is garbage while the new one actually has a positive WR.
Clown Druid is still around and is basically unchanged.
If you want statistically powerful decks you're gonna have to wait until Thursday for the VS Data Reaper report.
I would also add that that specific Hunter deck just got refined in order to best deal with both Mage and Paladin and in the wake of the nerfs it just happens to be the most refined deck out there.
As I predicted, Libram Paladin crushes everything else.
Meta:
T1 - Libram Paladin
T2 - nothing
T3 - nothing
T4 - nothing
T5 - everything else
pretty much if you're not playing braindead libram paladin, just concede every game. this 'nerf' made the meta so much worse
Actually Secret Paladin now beats out Libram Paladin because Libram now lacks the flexibility of the late game Pen Flingers so you might as well just capitalize on the fact that Secret Paladin has better cards for every mana cost than any other deck.
Also Face Hunter is now optimized enough to just beat most decks so....just in case Secret Paladin wasn't enough of a nostalgic callback you can now reexperience the joy of having your board ignored while getting your face caved in.
Oh and can we talk about how Kazakus is just an instant win if played on curve because some mental midget thought it would be acceptable to add a 50% chance to get a double up on stats?
It's actually comical how the Lunacy nerf did none of what they set out to do.
They stated that a full RNG card like this shouldn't ever be part of a tier 1 competitive strategy, so instead of just curbing the RNG part down to manageable level (let's say lower the mana discount to 2 or even 1 which still keeps it as a meme card) they just made it even more of a highroll because you still just win if you get to play it on curve.
So essentially the only decks that can beat No Minion Mage are the same ones that already could and the decks it absolutely rolls over with no counterplay because they can't outpace 0-mana draw 4 or turn 5 Nagrand Slam.
Honestly, this nerf patch feels like one of the biggest failures they've done so far. Basically all the currently playyed archetypes either completely steamroll their good matchups or hopelessly flounder against their bad ones. There is no middleground. It'S peak Rock Paper Scissors.
Nerfs did fuck all to Paladin as expected and Mage is still playable, but now it's basically just rock paper scissors because you can't lose against control and still can't win against aggro.
Basically don't play any "fair" decks and hope you can cheese your opponent..
I wonder if they'll eventually sell some of the older Pre-purchase skins that only came with the big bundles.
Most regular people just can'T justify buying a useless amount of packs for a simple skin so I figure after a long period those would be fair game to be sold at...probably this price.
Alright, so after the nerfs hit I decided to go back to ladder and finish my climb to Legend that I had to stop at Diamond 2 because the 50/50 Mage/Paladin spread made it impossible to consistently win.
In order to prove to myself that I'm good at evaluating cards I picked No-Minion-Mage without the nerfed Deck of Lunacy because I was sure it was still a very potent deck that performs well against just about most decks (outside of super aggro).
Turns out I wasn't only correct, but also an overwhelming majority of players decided to target the freshly nerfed Paladin by bringing Control Warlock...which gets absolutely trounced by N-M-Mage because you just have more burn than they have healing.
Long story short: Out of 10 games 9 were Warlock. I lost only one of those due to abysmal draws (turns out picking picking a third Incanter's Flow from Runed Orb instead of Rigged Fair Game with an empty hand was a bad choice, who knew) and one against a cheeky Face Hunter who obviously steamrolled me.
Baseline: Everyone plays Warlock to hunt Paladin, but there is no Paladin because all of them already made it to Legend, so either play MAge to farm Warlock or play Hunter to farm the Mages farming Warlock (and also farm the Warlocks because Face Hunter is poggers).
Good luck, I'm going back to failing to make Big Demon Demon Hunter work.

which is why nobody with a brain uses that pisspool of a site anymore

Most decks beat Hunter. It's just polarizing as fuck.
Priest in general and obviously Rush Warrior do a good job. JUst don't pick a deck without tempo or healing
So Rush Warrior has been doing very well, you can just pull the best list off of HSreplay.

get better topdecks
Well I wish I knew this yesterday
which you always lose to regardless of C'thun, so really there's no point.
which control matches?

useless if you've already saved up around 10000 gold for packs because everything missing afterwards can usually be crafted.
It just genuinely feels bad to purchase an extreme amount of packs for a large amount of money when all you really wanted was the skin.
That's actually quite a nice move considering that they are not at all obligated to do this since the Watch Posts are still playable
And here I thought I was being smart by not crafting him because I was sure Watch POsts were getting nerfed.
I wonder if they'll eventually sell some of the older Pre-purchase skins that only came with the big bundles.
