  • Wifebeater Rogue

  • I think I remember Firebat experimenting with that.

Yes, one of the whelps will inherit her effect and keep passing it on, HOWEVER, if another minion that has inherited the effect dies, it will not apply to the second whelp, because the effect is considered one singular instance that keeps going on instead of seperate deathrattles.

Basically, the only way to get two Aegwynn deathrattles on both Whelps is to play another seperate Aegwynn that produces her own effect (or maybe that aalso doesn't work because spaghetti code)

  • You want to play Sethekk + Renew if you have enough mana to get a train going because it gives you a discover and a random spell which could chain.

You don't wanna Renew Sethekk if you actually need healing in the matchup.

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter anyways because you're playing Miracle Priest and you're relying on just out-randoming your opponent.

is it absolutely required that i have soul mirror

Not entirely sure about that. Usually Priest is good at generating spells via Scorpid, Renew and Palm Reading, but without Soul Mirror being in your deck there's a chance that some value decks can just push you off the board.

If you're running a Xyrella build you might be able to do without Mirror, but since kazakus is just much better I feel like Mirror might be necessary if you want to improve your matchup spread.

If you're just trying to dunk on aggro decks (that aren't Spell Mage) you probably don't need Mirror.

  • It's actually much better at high ranks because it beats control decks, but if you're trying to make the jump to Legend it's too weak against all the aggro decks there.

  • that's why I don't run Samuro or Xyrella because they're trap cards and Kazakus is much better in just about any situation.

Also, C'thun Warrior is even worse than Warlock, so I don't see why anyone would even bother.

My personal advice, grind to Legend, and try to get to somewhere around 6 or 4k and suddenly Warlock will show maybe every 10 games while you have a solid choice at beating anything else that isn't Spell MAge

Trust the Data Reaper Report and don't trust HsReplay because their stats are getting bogged down by people who have no clue how to play a Control deck that doesn't generate infinite value.

  • I'm not sure why you are this insistent on Priest being bad when the numbers are clearly on my side.

    Priest is good

    Warlock is really overrated

Once you make it to Legend Warlock is not an issue outside of being specifcally used to counter priest.

Something tells me you  haven't actually played the deck because you are clearly underestimating how generally consistent Priest gets the cards they want.

Also, Hysteria is your go to for dealing with any small minions, there's not much else you even need.  There is no single deck that wins by just using a single 4/4 for the entire game

  • Honestly, it's good that Warlock exists because I fear otherwise the only way to beat Priest would be bottom tier stuff like Rattlegore Warrior or spamming Coin Flip Spell Mage.

Also, I once got destroyed in the mirror by Yogg Saron, so I'm wondering if that guy might just be enough as a lategame bomb to possibly even scam the Warlock matchup.

  • Cairne is apparently really good against stuff like priest and Demon Hunter because they just have no convenient way to get rid of it and it allows you to always retain tempo after their clears.

Generally there's not really a deck out there that can punish Cairne (except Secret Rogue and the elusive Shaman)

  • Spell Mage with C'thun is only really useful against long drawn out matches or the ones where you want the Aoe/single target destroy.

Usually it's just clogging up your deck with stuff you don't need because you'd rather find actual burn and just blow the opponent up.

Spell Mage is just rock paper scissors at this point. If you go against a slow deck, just turn off your brain and point all burn at face, if you go against aggro just concede. It somehow involves less decision making than Face hunter.

If you still want to play Mage you can try the Spell Damage version, or you can go full Hipster and try to play Secret Mage (which gets out-tempoed by most decks, but if you get a good start it's quite good actually)

  • Warlock is only common at lower ranks though. Once you get into Legend (or just Diamond 5 really, Priest is pretty safe because you'll keep running into Hunters and Paladins which you can bully with ease.

Only Spell Mage is a reoccuring problem because those trglodytes can beat you by just aiming face and drawing their entire deck by turn 4

  • no no, not Miracle Priest, genuine Control Priest.

It's in the latest VS report.

There's two version, one regular with Samuro and Xyrella and the one I'M using which cuts 4-drops for Kazakus to be more proactive, which is actually pretty nuts.

  • People are sleeping on Control Priest, that deck can deal with just about anything except Control Warlock (which is a garbage deck outside of the Priest matchup)

  • Specialist is such a snoozefest. Seeing players play the same deck for up to 3 times and having it all come down to who draws their win condition faster just isn't fun.

Hearthstone was not designed for this format

  • Have you ever considered that maybe you are just really bad at the game and that's why you somehow manage to lose with even the most consistent tier 1-2 decks?

Also, once you're done complaining about how the meta is specifically targetting you and nobody else you can give Priest a try again because they can beat just about everything except for Warlock and OTK DH (which they can tech in Illucia for).

The Kazakus build is incredibly solid and somehow manages to play like the old control decks where you didn't need some unbeatable OTK finisher and could just win by running your opponent out of ressources and then using yours to finish the job.

Also, if you really hate aggro that much you can try the new Hybrid OTK DH variant with Inqiuisitors because the big heals just shit all over them and you can scam wins if you get lucky with Skull. Completely scumbaggery of a deck tho...

  • Alright, I'm tired of just being willfully minsconstrued so I'll just stop.

  • "earned" by virtue of being a well-known streamer/creator.

All of this wouldn't even be an issue if they just reworked the whole thing to be a rotating panel of creators that allows lesser known ones to get a spotlight instead of just saying "more women for the statistics so we have to cut someone else"

Again,  what would have been the outcome if none of the current invites were willing to give up their spots? Would they just be forced out under flimsy pretenses?

I don't get why it is so hard to understand why I object to enforced equality at the cost of the other side?

  • JUst for your information, Freedom of Speech just protects your legal right to say whatever you want and not be persecuted for it.

If you state your opinions on a private platfor such as this the owners get to decide whether or not they want you doing it. Your freedom of speech is in no way being infringed. They just get to set the terms and conditions.

Please don't use Freedom of speech as a buzzword because the mods banned you for commenting dumb shit. There are real countries in the Western world that have hate speech laws that undermine freedom of speech and you're not helping by complaining about something unrelated

  • that's cool, now let me tell you about my views on minorities and the state of Israel
