There is one thing this card is missing to become actually really competitive; a Taunt. Make this minion 5/5 with Taunt and that effect, and it could be worth it to build a deck around
Basically a N'Zoth-Effekt in a spell-oriented deck should have also taunt to be competetive? Nonsense. This card will see play, if there are good decks with a lot of spells, maybe even Conjurer-Mage could possible play this, because it has a lot of spells thanks to their Cyclone.
I think this suits Big Spell Mage in wild quite nicely and it might replace Dragoncaller Alanna due to the fact, that you have to power up her battlecry first, while in King Phaoris's case you can simply play him on turn 10. Since the spells there cost 5+, you would get bigger bodies than 5/5s (although I have to admit, that those wouldn't be always guaranteed). Sadly, this archtype doesn't exist in the wild format and this would be even more obvious, when Burn Mage becomes more popular there thanks to its new tools.
In standard I think this card is more likely to appear in Casino Summon Mage than anything else - it would run Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron and Power of Creation, as well as the well known big spell AoE package (Flamestrike, Blizzard). It might not be a competitive deck, if it can't anwer giants on turn 5 or 6, but it would be fun to play.
:D But to be honest, i guess you are right. This cards looks very powerful for a 10 drop and finally a nerf for Conjurer-Mage -> Sea Giant into this, need more weak Battlecry targets, but also for 12-Mana.
I would cut Shield Block for that 1-Mana Minion that draws a rush minion. You want a tempo deck, but you cut that 1-mana minion and add an reactive card? Feels contradictive to me.
Then I would cut one Elekk for Grommash Hellscreen and cut that 3-mana Worgen for 1-mana Lackey generator. I guess Lackey are more useful than that 3/3. It's also an addition as Grom activator. Alternative you could cut that 3/3 for Beserker, hes just too good in agressive decks.
An upside for this deck is u don't need to fish for Dr. Boom, because your quest always starts in your hand. A good start, because u usually don't always has your four 1-drops in your hand.
Important question: Is this golem minion a mech? If it is it's strong, if not then its kinda meh compared to [Hearthstone Card (Dr. Boom Mad Genius) Not Found].
Edit: That minion is not a mech, so it's meh for aggro, but still good for Midrange, if a viable midrange deck can be discovered.
Comparing Wasteland Assassin to Jungle Panther means Reborn costs two mana? This cards looks more like an arena card, i doubt it that it will see play in standard, maybe paladin only for the quest.
It's possible... but I feel like this card is SoU's version of The Darkness.
Not even close. The Darkness can be played without preparation sth and you just need to draw your candles, but this one need a lot of work to do to make it happen.
Another Anka, the Buried maybe ? I'd like to use Shadowstep on Anka to decrease other deathrattles as well. Infinite nerubian loop. lol.
This.
Unless we're talking about single player content when is this ever going to be a feasible plan? Come on.
If you can actually get off multiple Ankas in a game and not be dead I can imagine a million better plays than playing glorified runner-runner Nerubian Eggs. Please stop being silly.
None was talking about that this could be a T1-Deck, don't be silly. And DaneHS already proved that Big Rogue can work.
Why would an Even Shaman run this at all? The deck is already happy with its Jade Claws and it doesn't have board buffs, so there is no reason for them to include this weapon in their deck. The card is also extremely weak. Not to mention, they don't really utilize totem synergies other than running a couple of minions, which get slightly enhanced by totems.
But I must agree with what ThatFinn said. If Flametongue Totem weren't nerfed, the weapon would have had good targets to multiply - Totem Golem, FTT, maybe Wrath of Air Totem (if you have a lot of burst and you want to burn the opponent as much as possible).
Totem Carvener, Sea Giant or Thing from Below?
Edit: Maybe even include that minions who eats totems.
Wow, a pretty good quest for priest.
Crystallizer autoinclude in quest priest?
Obsidian Destroyer is that you?

Meteor and Blizzard into:

Genn and Baku doesn't need a nerf, period.

An aggressive version with Woodcutter's Axe, Wrenchcalibur, Heroic Strikeand Arcanite Reaper could work? An Rush-Aggro-Bomb Warrior. Maybe even consider Captain Greenskin and Upgrade!.

Good card will see play in Mechpaladin Decks, maybe in Questpally as well with mech package.

Remember Paladin with "out of my Jungle" to Tarim? This will be warriors equivalent for Armagedillo or [Hearthstone Card (Zillax) Not Found].
This card was needed in Gadgetzan to make more Goons not good, but at least playable than only Paladin.
Preparation died for this. Kappa.
Can you summon tokens with Conjurer? No you can't.

Mogu Cultist + Myra's Unstable Element + Togwaggle's Scheme. But its still a hard combo, probably the hardest in the game and still worst than Mecha'thun.
Edit: It needs a lot of support from this and future sets to work.
Good card. It looks like Shadow Visions and Tortollan Primalist had a baby Tortollan Pilgrim.
But i am dissapointed why they made this card mage only, I would like it for other classes too. Mind Control could be playable again.
Kobold Illusionist wants to talk with you.
This.
