Today started official spoilers for the 84th MtG set, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths (IKO), which includes 274+ new cards! You'll be able to start playing the new set on MTG Arena starting this month on April 16 with the paper release being delayed until May 15. Some of the cards have Showcase versions included, while others have artwork for the special, new Godzilla Series, which features familiar creatures from classic Godzilla lore, including the King of Monsters himself.

Am i the only one who finds all thede godzilla cards a bit cringy? Crystal Space Godzilla? Really?
The godzilla movies are very strange, but cringy is probably the wrong word. More that they don't make much sense and don't really try to.
I know the films, it's just they seem so out of place in MTG.

I wonder which premium version will be available in MTGA later as event prizes or sold for gems/gold, the anime or the godzilla ones.
Both? It would be a shame to deny MTGA players either one.
Likely they'll just be alternate art like its done for any other card in mtga, maybe some could be given out as event prizes
