We have officially reached the end of spoilers for new Champions for the currently playable regions of Legends of Runeterra. Riot will be introducing a brand new region to the game with this expansion, and based off datamined sound files last month, we think we're going to see Bilgewater as the first new region introduced to the game. Keep checking back for updates, but enjoy some of these awesome new Ionian cards in the meantime!

It kinda feels like all of these reveal and showcase videos were made on Prezi, and it's pretty disorienting.
I don't like the art for Claws of the Dragon. It's perfectly fine in full view, but it shouldn't be spaced out such that you lose so much of the details in the splash image - like, you know, the claws. There are a couple other cards that do this, as well, and it bugs me a lot.
It's great that we can go into our collections and see the full image, but what is presented on the card needs to do the heavy lifting.
I’m kind of torn on this. On the one hand, I don’t like how Dragon’s Rage and Lee Sin represent more unblockable Damage, but on the other hand, I do prefer this Spell strategy more than elusives.
On the cards specifically, I like how they’re adding Spell synergy to Ionia, since they have arguably the best Spell champion (Karma). A lot of these Spell token generating spells seem like they’d also be amazing with Ezreal, since they count as multiple spells and a lot of them are burst speed
OK, Ionia is my least favorite region by a mile, but these cards really make me want to start playing it. I love all the clever interactions--the Concussive Palm spell spawns a Tail unit who turns back into Palm when recalled, Retreat gives you the fleeting option the Return a unit for 3 mana total so long as that unit costs 3 or less, etc. And then there's Lee Sin, who's probably the worst vanilla 6-drop in the game but each spell you cast gradually turns him into God-mode. It reminds me a lot of Combo Rogue, where most cards have potential beyond their face value so you really need to plan how to optimize your turns. Good job, Riot.
So there's the tail, the scales, and the claws, but... where's the rest of its body?
I think Lee Sin is supposed to be the body, right?
na he's the dick
