The Core 2021 Variety Show - All Card Spoilers From The Show

This morning the team at Wizards streamed their Core 2021 variety show to give us all more details on what cards we're going to see in the upcoming core set. Here they all are! We'll have more spoilers to share later tonight and through the next couple of weeks.

Core 2021 Set Spoilers

These are the cards that were showcased during the stream. We'll have a roundup of all the spoilers for today later tonight.

  • Each basic land has a special showcase frame based on its planewalker.
  • All Planeswalkers have showcase and borderless frames in the set.

  • Masticore is honestly not a great card in my opinion.  Artifact, good stats, and an effect that absolutely squashes Plainswalkers.  I think it's one of those cards that are really going to limit competitive decks and be in most side boards.  Only time I don't think you would run this in at least the sideboard is for pure aggro.

  • All of these cards look great. I am very excited for this set. However, it does feel weird having a brand new set coming out when I haven't had a chance to get my hands on a single Ikoria card.

    Also, Mill is an official keyword, yay! Although that may very well mean that they are going to print more support cards, which means Mill decks may become a real thing, which is annoying.
