Mmh... yeah we may need some Crab tech here lol
Well, Shaman IS the class that focuses on battlecry the most
yeah it is for sure but we all know Brann Bronzebeard as the first battlecry master, so much people expected to see battlecry related stuff with Brann and we know he is hunter hero this expansion.
Yeah but hunter has been far more focused on deathrattle. There are few battlecryhunter cards right now at all. If the Brann card did feature battlecry synergy it would be dead in standard
Sadly you can't make the Jaws Bite with this hero power, but there are a ton of great stuff you can do with this hero power
Only downside is you can't play this quest with Hagatha the Witch. Although you might put in both so you can choose which one you want, like what some people did with Scourgelord Gaorrosh and Sulfuras, but this is an automatic hero power change that you don't have much control over.
Fun looking card, can't wait to play with it thought... *laughs in giggling*
Oh no. The giggles.
Giggling Inventor
The potential for this is almost limitless. You can double up on Swampqueen Hagatha and the Drustvar Horrors, play Barista Lynchen to get a huge reload turn, or get 5 Dopplegangsters for a huge Evolve. It's very easy to complete in any deck that would want the effect, and the fact that it's usable every turn makes it a supercharged Brann Bronzebeard. The first two quests seemed a bit iffy, but this one is undeniably awesome!

Like I said on the card's page: "It's fine, but...why be a Shaman card? You had Brann Bronzebeard as the Hunter hero; it was right there."
Beyond that, the connection with Shudderwock should be obvious and concerning. Presumably the Shaman will receive new Battlecry minions and/or weapons, and that's more fuel for Shudderwock. At least you cannot easily Hero Power + Shudderwock in the same turn.
Edit: This is being inserted into my Jade C'Thun deck for sure.
shudderwock isn't a big deal with this. firstly, shudderwock costs 9 so either the shaman needs to start with the coin or find a way to reduce shudders cost. 2nd, shudder repeating his own battlecry won't affect the minion so it would only summon more copies to return to hand. unless there is some new card that can make the combo more broken, i don't see it being an issue
Yeah, Team 5 painted themselves into a corner when they decided to assign a distinct class to each hero/villain. Best to forget Brann's earlier incarnation :) Battlecry synergies have been a Shaman thing, not so much Hunter. Anyway, any thematic consistency was broken when they gave Rogues Spirit of the Shark.
Also in wild: Play Fencing Coach during the turn before Shudderwock for double the shenanigans
wouldn't it be much less interesting if they kept rehashing a card's previous effects just for consistency's sake?
LIke, sure Battlecry Hunter could be fun, but it has pretty much no support at the moment so what's the point of shoehorning the Battlecry mechanic onto Brann?
