The Second Dinner team has sent out holiday greetings and announced their newest team member - Molly!
Molly Fender Ayala was previously on the Hearthstone Team as an Assistant Community Manager, responsible for community relationships. She left Hearthstone on February 9, 2018, to move on to the Overwatch Community Team where she held the title of Global Community Development Lead until earlier this month when she announced her leave. We're excited to see what she will do at Second Dinner with her new position that will work with Creators, Community, and Marketing.
Things are ramping up at Second Dinner and although we're still not certain as to the genre of their game, with so many card game veterans on their team, there has to be some connection there. We're hoping we get to see what they've been working on, which takes place in the Marvel universe, next year. Fingers crossed?
Happy Birthday, Molly, and congratulations on joining Second Dinner.
I had the pleasure to work with Molly on multiple occasions during her time on the Hearthstone team and have seen what she's done within the Overwatch community over the past couple of years. Second Dinner, you picked up an awesome new person for your team!

If Iksar also quitting, there's surely something wrong going on. Please keep updating these kind of news. Thanks
Now the real question is whether she's a plant to steal secrets or the forward team for her husband's eventual transition over to Second Dinner...? :P
On a more serious note, looks like Ben's been working out. Looking pretty trim.
I do wonder if Iksar will head on over there finally. In my mind, I always assumed he'd move over to SD since he felt like that "core" part of Hearthstone that isn't around anymore.
It isn't that I'd like to see him leave Hearthstone, he's one of the more communicative people on the team which is nice to have, I just think he's potentially being held back by Blizzard.
Loved them writing in this. They must be using awesome form of shorthand lol!!
Thanks for posting this. It seems like it's been a long wait for Second Dinner to announce a game. But this hire only makes sense if they have something to announce fairly soon. Presumably you don't hire a community development manager unless you have a game on the near horizon. Here's hoping it's a card game and the new competition makes all the companies in this field work even harder to improve their games (and their game economies).
BTW, the video has some witty touches that makes it well worth a watch.
Marvel card game...
Last Second Dinner news was over a YEAR ago?? Dammmn, talk about building hype
We haven't covered every announcement they've put out. In retrospective, we should have.
