Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel's First Ranked Season Ends in A Couple of Days

Published 3 years, 10 months ago by

Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel released a little over a week ago, but its very first Ranked season will end in just a couple of days. To be more precise, the season will end on the 31st of January at 3 PM PST/ 6 PM EST/ 11 PM GMT.

The Ranged Duels page in the game mentions a tallying period, so there's a chance the next season won't start right away. The seasons are also unlikely to be as short as this one, seeing as the game launched in the last third of the month.

Rewards

The ladder is split into 5 Ranks: Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each Rank has 5 Tiers, except for Rookie, which only has 2.

Rank and Tier distribution

Reaching a certain Tier in each Rank will will add to your final reward at the end of the season, as follows:

  • Rookie Tier 1: 300 Gems
  • Tier 5 of any Rank: 200 Gems each
  • All other Tiers: 100 Gems each

For example, ending the season in Gold IV will net you 1800 Gems. Careful: You can only have up to 10,000 Gems (doesn't count Gems you purchased with actual money).

Did you have a chance to climb the ladder this very short season? What Rank did you manage to get?

  • Sooooo, I screwed up! I said that Ranked Rewards would be offered at the start of the new season. They were offered as soon as you passed their respective tier, I just didn't notice. Sorry about that.

  • I hate the fact that this game makes me like playing combo decks. Adamancipators are some real menacing shit

  • I have never been stomped so hard in any card game before, I felt truly humbled. The highest I could get to was Plat V.
