Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Adds New Selection Packs, Introduces Exosister Archetype to the Game

As announced a few days ago, there's a new selection pack available in the shop. This one adds the Exosister archetype to the game, as well as offer support for the Borrel/Rokket, Magistus and The Agent archetypes. Below is a short breakdown of each archetype, and afterwards is the full card list ordered by card type and rarity (this is the order presented in the game).

Exosister

The main attraction of the pack, and a brand new archetype to the game. The name derives from "Exorcist" and "Sister", the latter referring to the fact the girls depicted in the art are some sort of military nuns. Each Exosister has a Main Deck version (the "Sister") and an Extra Deck version (the "Exorcist"), and they're all named after biblical angels.

This is an Xyz based archetype, with a focus on being able to Xyz summon using only one material if your opponent moves a card from the Graveyard. This effect is very match-up dependent, meaning how good Exosisters are is reliant on the meta.

Borrel/Rokket

An anime archetype used by Varis/Revolver in the Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains show, along with the Topoligic cards. The Rokkets are leg-less Dragons that represent some sort of ammunition, while the Borrel cards are dragons that have various gun barrels and revolver cylinders attached to them. They all have a mechanical appearance, but they're all Dragon type, unlike something like Cyber Dragon, which is a Machine.

The Agent

An archetype of LIGHT and DARK Fairy Monsters which is inspired by various planetary bodies in our solar system. Their naming convention is "The Agent of Attribute - Celestial Body", with the notable excepetion of The Executor of the Underworld - Pluto. The Hyperion cards act as the Boss Monsters of the archetype, and it has a strong connection to the Field Spell The Sanctuary in the Sky.

Magistus

A series of Monsters depicting younger versions of powerful Spellcasters from other archetypes, namely Aleister the Invoker, Witchcrafter Madame Verre (named Rilliona in the archetype), and Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic, as well as the archetype-exclusive Zoroa, the Magistus of Flame. The story seems to be that these four mages were part of a group called the Magistus before going their separate ways.

The Monsters of the archetype can be categorized in one of 4 groups:

• The young form of the mage, as a Main Deck Monster (eg. Zoroa, the Magistus of Flame)
• The guardian deity of that mage, as a non-Spellcaster Extra Deck monster (eg. Vahram, the Magistus Divinity Dragon)
• An empowered version of the mage, as an Extra Deck Spellcaster Monster that's the same kind as their deity (eg. Zoroa, the Magistus Conflagrant Calamity)
