Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Announces the EX-Zero Festival - You're Not Allowed to Use the Extra Deck

The special Master Duel event for the month is almost here, and it's the EX-Zero Festival! We've had events in the past where certain Extra Deck summoning methods were forbidden, and this event takes things to its logical extreme: No Extra Deck allowed at all! It starts on the 18/19th of July, and lasts until the 27th/28th (depending on your time zone).

Rewards

As with previous festivals, each player will be awarded a medal after the game. Winning grants 500 Medals, losing only grants you 50, and surrendering doesn't grant you anything. The Rewards are structured pretty much the same, with 2300 Gems, 20 Legacy Pack Tickets, a cosmetic item and a title.

Unfortunately, the reward this time around is pretty weak. It's a monster art of Palladium Oracle Mahad. Monster arts are the ones you see in the main menu after getting past the intro screen, and it also shows at the top of your profile. You can find a detailed breakdown of the rewards below.

Update: We now have the missions for the festival, which are pretty much identical with what we've had in the past. If they do a repeat of previous events, two more mission chains will be added about halfway through the festival. In the meantime, the following will net you an additional 1000 gems:

• Special Summon a Monster/Normal Summon a Monster/ Destroy a card:
  • 3, 5 times: 30 Gems each
  • 10 times: 40 Gems
  • 20, 30, 50 times: 50 Gems each
• Duel in the Festival:
  • 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 times: 50 Gems each
