The Duelist Cup is officially underway! That means we finally have the rewards for the event, and they're pretty good. Getting to the maximum DLv. will net players 1900 Gems, 10 Duelist Cup Reward Tickets (contents seem to be similar to regular Legacy Tickets), and a special card back. Stage 1
Here's a breakdown of rewards for the first Stage of the Duel Cup:

Aside from the main rewards track, there are also special missions for the cup. Here's a quick breakdown:
- Activate a spell or trap:
- 3, 5, 10, 15 times: 40 Gems
- 20, 30 times: 30 Gems
- 50 times: 20 Gems
- 100 times: 10 Gems
- Normal or Special Summon a Monster:
- 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 times: 30 Gems
- 100 times: 20 Gems
- 150, 200 times: 10 Gems
- Duel in the cup:
- 1, 3, 5, 10 times: 50 Gems
- 15, 20, 25, 40, 35, 40 times: 40 Gems
- 45, 50 times: 30 Gems
That's another 1000 Gems you can earn. In total, there's 2900 Gems to get during the event, ignoring daily missions.
Stage 2
The rewards on the second stage will depend on how high you rank by the end of the event:
- Ranks 1 - 10:
- DC 2022 AUG Gold Finalist icon
- DC 2022 AUG Top 10 title
- 20 Duelist Cup Reward Tickets
- Ranks 11 - 100:
- DC 2022 AUG Silver Finalist icon
- DC 2022 AUG Top 100 title
- 15 Duelist Cup Reward Tickets
- Ranks 101 - 10000 (the titles depend on your ranking, but the rest of the rewards are identical):
- DC 2022 AUG Bronze Finalist icon
- DC 2022 AUG Top 100/500/10000 title
- 10 Duelist Cup Reward Tickets
- Ranks 10000 and lower:
- DC 2022 AUG Second Stage title
- 5 Duelist Cup Reward Tickets
We also have information on how players will be scored during the second stage:
- Each player is assigned a DP.
- The amount of DP gained/lost is depended on the difference in DP between the two players.
- There is no upper limit for DP earned, with a lower limit of 1000.
- The upper limit for DP you can lose is 1200.
- Players with 9000 DP or less will lose less DP than they normally would.

I hope a banlist comes and hits the hell out of floo... It really isn't fun not even having a chance to play.
Edit: I love how it looks like the loser gets sent to the shadow realm when they lose lol
Since those tickets have a different name, I'd imagine they got better odds at Legacy URs, similar to the Xyz and Synchro Pack ones.
I really hope I can find the time to play this event. By the sound of how the second phase will play out, it's at the very least an improvement to Duel Links. The DP gain there used to be static, regardless of who you were facing afaik.
